Rooms are individualized and very comfortable. We stayed in the Copland Room. Bed was excellent. The entire experience was fun and personal. We had after dinner drinks and desert at the bar before bed. There is a roof top area to sit outside. It was a cool place to hang out at night. Highly recommend!

Great experience! It’s a small 9 room hotel on the outskirts of OTR near Findlay Market. The check in is atypical of a hotel and more of a bed and breakfast. There aren’t room numbers, but room names, and I stayed in the Schubert. The room was comfortable and despite my lack of pictures, there is an in room bathroom. The color palette was rich and inviting, with little trinkets aligning to the theme sprinkled throughout the room.The hotel has 3 floors without an elevator. There is an outdoor deck and a first floor restaurant, Vivaldi. There is a small food menu, but a vast liquor/ wine selection. There was a live jazz band as well. The parking garage is about a block away, so please be prepared for that journey. The garage is secured and well-lit, with 2 beautiful massive chandeliers. My only complaints are: there needs to be a surge protector in the room, as if you have more than one item to charge, you have to hunt and move furniture to get access to an outlet. The complimentary breakfast is meh, and is a small fridge in the restaurant of regular store bought food. Lastly, there should be a note of how to check out in the hotel room, as the innkeepers are not available if you leave before the check out time of 11am. I had to search for how and where to leave the keys.

The hotel is very unique and more like a VRBO then hotel. I really liked the decor and classical music themed rooms. My only "want" that was not available was a workout room. However, based on what the hotel is designed for, I completely understand the reason behind it. Easy access to restaurants, bars and the entire downtown area. If you are looking for a non-traditional hotel, this is just the place for you.

Interesting vintage property with a lot of history. Room and bed was small. Security is a bit questionable. No workers on property and room locks were loose and old. $25 parking in their private garage. Pricing was fair compared to other options in the area.

No staff on site so once I was there, no one was around if I needed anything, air conditioner would not turn back on after I turned it down awhile. One light was not working and could not get the ceiling fan on either. Restaurant was closed for remodeling which they might have mentioned. Car parking was secure but was a block and half away so had to walk between the two.

The hotel is older so it has lots of charm. It only has 9 rooms so there is plenty of privacy. There is a restaurant and jazz bar downstairs. It's perfect for a weekend getaway. They also have a FREE parking garage right down the street. We will definitely stay here again.

A really nice, small, and convenient hotel for the Music Hall and Vine Street. A few minor issues (a squeaky old bed, no shampoo in the shampoo holder, basic free breakfast, and quite expensive), but overall, a great place to stay. There is no elevator, so you have to climb the stairs. Great chandeliers in the parking garage.

Perfect spot for seeing a show at the Opera House right across the street. Easy, locked, spacious parking garage. Plenty of places to eat / drink in walking distance.We want to come back when their restaurant in house is open.

Omg even the parking garage goes along with the whole motif …Mozart Garage along with portraits of all the composers and beautiful chandeliers…in the very safe, very convenient indoor parking garage. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating, Location is excellent and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. I fell in love with the city!

The parking area is incredible and I was able to place my vehicle under the portrait matching the room I was staying in. If you’re familiar with Cincinnati and you’re aware of what part of town you are staying in this is a fantastic location within easy walking distance of downtown on a pleasant day. The Symphony is an eclectic urban hotel with decorations and furnishings to match. We loved our third floor room, though my wife was glad we weren’t staying there too many nights in a row given the stairs. Check in and check out was very personable and easy. I would definitely stay again and would like to return some evening when the restaurant is open

Uniquely themed rooms. Stayed 2 nights-disappointed no maid service after 1st night.

Property was very clean and comfortable, Ashlynn, the innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was delightful!

I enjoyed my stay here, the staff was extremely friendly and my room was really nice and cozy, i would definitely stay here again. The included parking was also really great as i had family staying in a different hotel and they had to pay for parking every night. The only complaint i had was the coffee maker still had a used pod leftover from whoever had stayed there before and looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in a long time. Otherwise i had a great experience here

This hotel was simply great!. Great location to many restaurants, park and shopping. It was a unique boutique hotel with great friendly staff. Room and bed was super clean and comfortable. This is a small boutique hotel with great old building charm. Don't expect room service or concierge service. It was a Great hotel and we had an outstanding stay at this place.

This was, unfortunately, my most disappointing hotel experience in recent memory. It felt less like a hotel and more like a couple of rooms situated above a restaurant. The quirky B&B style, with rooms named after composers, aimed to create a music-themed ambiance in an old house. However, the rooms appeared dated, lacked cleanliness, and the bed had a musty funky odor that made it challenging to fall asleep. Considering these issues, the price point seems rather high for the overall experience. One notable inconvenience was their strict policy of charging a $50 fee for late check-ins after 11 pm, regardless of the reason. While I understand it's their policy, arriving at 11:16 pm due to a flight delay felt unjustified. I do want to highlight the kindness of the staff despite this policy. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to the Cincinnati Music Hall could be a significant advantage for music enthusiasts. If this location is vital to your plans, the convenience might outweigh the drawbacks. However, for a more comfortable and modern stay, I'd recommend exploring other options within the nearby area.

The Symphony Hotel is a few minutes’ walk from various arts venues, and its musical ambiance—classical in theme, live jazz in the evenings—sets the tone perfectly for those in town for a concert or play or exhibit. The staff are exceedingly helpful, the rooms and restaurant are richly appointed and squeaky clean, and the whole experience is carried off with panache.

The room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. I really liked the themed aspect of the entire hotel. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house as a guest.

This place just wasn't my vibe. Room was very small and overall it wasn't all that comfortable, e.g. no blind on one of the windows. It was fine for one night, but wouldn't stay there again.

Very cool old hotel with unique rooms… we stayed in the Bach room and enjoyed our check-in experience and the room itself during our short stay. However, we were awakened at 7:15am to loud drilling or sawing in the room next to us just on the other side of our bedroom wall… it went on for 30 minutes or so. All in all (other than that) would recommend staying here.

Super cozy, clean, and lost of personality. A little bit noisy.

The room was smaller than expected, and all the noise from outside came in. I stayed there for New Year's, but not only could I hear the sounds of the celebration, I could also hear every step and conversation of people walking in the hallway. The fire alarm went off at night, and a manager (I assume it was the hotel manager) was running through the hallway, asking, 'Is everyone okay in here?!' That seemed like an unusual fire safety procedure.

A nice thematic hotel. Room is smaller than typical hotels, which you should keep in mind if you need typical space.

Security issues: There was a inch or more gap under my door--within view of my bed. Anyone could easily put their phone under my door and watch me in my bed. The only lock on my door was the one on the door knob. No dead bolt, no chain. As a single woman I did not feel like safety was a priority. There were shades on the windows so I woke up early because of light. For these reasons I probably wouldn't stay there again. The staff was great and helpful. Great, fun, walkable area.

Tucked away in the heart of OTR, this property is a true hidden gem. It's the perfect escape for a unique and romantic getaway right in the city. The staff and innkeepers are wonderfully attentive and truly make you feel at home. An absolute highlight is the authentic Italian restaurant on-site, with a warm ambiance and food that feels like a genuine taste of Italy—not the usual chain fare. It's an absolute must-visit.!!!

I purchased a one night stay for my daughter and her husband on the wedding night. I chose this hotel because it is quaint & unique. I ordered a bottle of champagne and a charcuterie board to be present that night. Everything was wonderful except they went to the dining room the following morning for breakfast and no one was present. They arrived at 10 am and left at 10:15 because no one approached them. When I questioned this, I felt the innkeepers attitude was “sorry about your luck”.

Great location but property needs upkeep. Staff unavailable except via phone. We saw on web, I think that parking is free but it costs $25 a night at a nearby garage. Free breakfast was not much—coffee lukewarm and few options. Only yogurt for gluten free option. Wouldn’t stay again.

Melissa greeted me at the door after I texted and called that my plane arrived. The whole experience could not have been better. Dinner Friday night was awesome, grouper and roasted veggies were fresh and delicious. The jazz was a treat. Symphony is comfortable and in a great location in the heart of Over-the-Rhine, next to the Music Hall and Washington Park. The choice of nearby restaurants and the free tram to major attractions is a plus. Definitely will stay here again.

Quirky European-style hotel. Personal service from the management, which was friendly and nice.

No one was in person except on check in. The only way to talk to staff was by text. The air conditioning was to cold. The breakfast was just ok. I would not stay there again. Tiles were falling off the walls. It needs paint.

Great Hotel with friendly staff, and you can’t beat the proximity to TQL Stadium and downtown Cincinnati.

Stayed here to attend a concert at TQL Stadium. Was very happy with the entire stay. Great location walkable to the stadium and bars/restaurants. The hotel was perfect and classic, with live music on the evening that we stayed. The parking garage is private and less than a block away. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is right off of Washington Park where the Music Hall is located. The free tram stops at the corner. Walkable to the Findlay Market. Good breakfast included with the room. Free parking off site at their own garage by the soccer stadium, so 2 blocks away. I was concerned about the possibility of noise from the street, but that was not a problem when we stayed there. One window did not have a blind, but they provided sleeping masks with the room. I actually used it! Our part of the building required steps to the room. We investigated the rooftop deck the next day - it would have been a nice place to hang out if we had the chance.

Great location for a concert we went to and our host Melissa was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Loved the size and vibe of this boutique hotel. Convenient to plenty of restaurants and night spots. Would definitely go back

Had a great time. Easy and safe walk to the stadium downtown. Lots of things to do in the area, all easy to access walking from the hotel.

A beautiful place right next to Music Hall and Washington Park!

The adjective “charming” is too weak to describe this hotel’s rooms and common areas. They transport you agreeably to the late 1800’s. And the location is terrific, a short walk to Vine Street with its Over the Rhine storefronts, now filled with an eclectic assortment of shops and restaurants. There is a happy energy to the neighborhood.

Loved the hotel especially since it is next to the Music Hall where we attended à splendid performance of Rigoletto.

Historic property, fun decor and rooms, great location, friendly staff, nice perks in room, roof top patio was a nice spot to have a rest.....if I had to point anything out would be that breakfast was "ok", mediocre, nothing special considering the price of hotel....it could use a little work. Coffee was very bad for my taste, perhaps others would like, maybe it was the water.

The building was beautiful and decorated very nicely. However, it was not communicated to us that the restaurant and bar would be closing early the night of our stay, which really dampened our plans. Overall, I would stay here again as everyone was kind, the location was excellent and parking was close.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Symphony Hotel. We have enjoyed both visits. This hotel is very unique and quaint. I love that each room is different. The weekend breakfasts are amazing. The hotel is so convenient to the free streetcar, getting around downtown Cincinnati is quick and easy. We had friends join us, which made our trip even better. If you're looking for a unique experience, the Symphony Hotel is a must.
