I had a 5 star treatment at this hotel. Perfect location, with the metro just in front of the building, with easy access to the city centre. The room was big and comfortable with all the amenities you need for a stay. The check in was memorable, there was my name written on the TV welcoming in the room. The staff was gentle, efficient and knowledgeable. My room was on the 8th floor and I had to wait too long for the lift, so had to use the stairs many times. I didn't mind, though, as I'm physically fit..haha! Highly recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay here again!!

Right outside the metro station, which is convenient. The area it’s not very nice, lots of homeless sleeping in the street and plaza. My room was on the first floor, overlooking the plaza, so it was a bit noisy. The “gym” is more of a storage room with a bunch of equipment. It was right across my room, so I also got noise from people there

The breakfast was incredible! Location is right by the metro and easy walking distance to all sights. The AC in room was good, and all the staff was super helpful and friendly. Liked having a small gym too.

Très bel hôtel situé à la sortie du métro omonia et proche des quartiers à visiter. La place omonia est très passante et assez bruyante. Good location right in the city center. The elevators were very small and crammed. The room was nice and came with a balcony but the doors did not open all the way for us to enjoy our view (they said it was for safety but the rest of our hotels didn’t do that).

This hotel has a very convenient location, with a metro entrance being right outside the doors and plenty of restaurants options within walking distance! The staff was friendly and the restaurant came in handy multiple times when I’d get back from a long day exploring. The restaurant also has breakfast in the mornings, with a variety of food, and has such a nice view of the square! The room was a good size and had a minimalist look. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I didn’t notice some stray hairs in the room that were not mine, which was a bit off-putting.

Room was clean but dated. The bed was two twin beds put together but kept sliding apart as soon as you sit on it. The sheets were not fitted and kept coming off as soon as you move or turn your body, and worse part, the bed was not comfortable at all. Towels were as old as the Parthenon. Shower head is vey low so cant use for shower, 4 shower jets mounted on the wall but shoots water everywhere and makes floor wet. Water did not drain well, flooded onto bathroom floor, they didn't fix it until the next morning. Breakfast was ok, coffee was good. Staff were friendly and helpful . Location is convenient to walk to city and sights, 30 minute walk to entrance to Acropolis and museums. 45 minutes to the international airport, we booked taxi via the hotel, 46 Euros. Ask hotel for restaurant recommendations as it is hit and miss in that area. Outside area surrounding the hotel is very dirty, lots of graffiti and the smell of urine was evident. Tour of Acropolis, museums were worth it,

Room with a fountain view was a good choice - and on arrival we were upgraded to have a view to Lycabettus hill, too! Room and bathroom were very clean, good size, bed was comfy (soft but not too soft) Breakfast had lot of choice and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect for us. Subway just across the street, but 15 minutes (slow) walk to Monastiraki or Syntagma. The only minor issues were not having hair conditioner in the bathroom (body wash, shampoo, hand soap and hand lotion were included) and if you are a very light sleeper then traffic noise can sometimes disturb your sleep.

The room was very spacious and clean but my favourite part was the amazing view and how walkable everything was. The hop on and hope off bus also passes right in front of the hotel. The staff was also very accommodating in getting me checked in after my cruise disembarkation. Just make sure you contact the hotel in advance for availability. Overall an amazing stay!

Check in was good and the staff was very helpful with any request. We arrived at 8:30 am and was given an early check in, which was well needed after a long overnight flight. The bed was very low and the mattress could use some more padding. The tub was very high and slippery which was not good for my bad knees and hips. I tweaked my hip trying to get in and out of the tub (I'm 5'6) and almost fell a few times because of slippery tub. We received a VIP bottle of wine, which was left in a warm refrigerator, because the refrigerator did not work if the key card was not in the room slot to turn on the lights. When my Greece tour started 2 days after my initial arrival, (room booked with tour company) we requested and received a room with just a shower. The shower had a partial clear wall on the side and no shower curtain, so when we showered, the floor and floor towel got soaked. The floor in the room had crumbs and dirt on it, and housekeeping had to come and vacuum. The food in their restaurant which was outside the front door was very good. Excellent burger! Friendly staff. Good location for getting around. A stop for all of the Hop on Hop off buses was across the street, as well as a large mall and plenty of places to eat.

The staff at Athens Tiare was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and friendly. The Barista, the front desk, the bellman, the doorman. The breakfast was delicious with so many options. The family adjoining room was comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. There was some street noise, similar to staying NY city, but it didn't bother us.

My work phone got stolen when I forgot it in my room during check out. I saw it on "Find my iPhone" being present at the Hotel, but when I arrived to pick it up it had started moving outside the hotel. I spoke to the reception but they did not do much, nor did I get to speak to a manager. A very poor behaviour from the staff and I ended up loosing the phone. Despite the fact that I have emailed them about it, they still haven't come back to me.

The staff in the hotel were friendly, but not the management team. Due to our ferry schedule, we needed to change our dates (still same nights but different dates). We contacted the hotel, Expedia also helped us contact the hotel to request the change for multiple times prior to our arrival. But the management team refused to accommodate our request. I would not recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel because it was centrally located and had three subway lines available. Hotel is in the middle range on price and very well run. If we needed anything the staff was very quick to respond. There was a breakfast included in the hotel package and we used the restaurant twice in the evening to avoid going out to look for dinner after a long day of touring. Room was larger than most European hotels and had a king size bed which was perfect for a couple. I would recommend this hotel as a place for people who like to go out, see the city and then come back to a clean, comfortable room in a central location.

Superb location with front door metro access and 15 minute walk to Monastiraki Square and Plaka. If arriving by metro from the airport at Omonia Station take the Konstantinou exit using the set of stairs at the right which will take you up right next to the hotel entrance. The hop on/off tour buses stop in the square as well as several bus routes. There are also ample cafes, pastry and sandwich shops nearby. My room was spacious with a fridge and room safe. My only criticism is the furniture. There is a closet to hang clothes with a few shelves but there are no drawers and no desk. There is a small table for the kettle but few outlets. The bed side tables are cut in a semi circle which made the tops rather small. There is also a table for placing your luggage which ideally should have been a desk but there is no light above the table and no outlets.

The front of the hotel was nice as you viewed the fountain however walking around the hotel felt extremely unsafe as the area was dirty with tons of graffiti and party goers walking around. My advice is to not try and park around this hotel as you will be sent behind the hotel and this area is very urban to say the least. The hotel itself was within perfect walking distance for many shops and restaurants as well as not too far from Monastiraki Square which was a huge plus! It’s not a bad hotel, I just want to warn others of what’s behind it vs what’s in front of it.

Great location and staff. The front desk staff went above and beyond to assist us with any questions or services needed. Definitely a keeper! The metro entrance is right in front of the hotel, the hop on hop off bus service is few steps away from the hotel main entrance and so is the Hodus shopping center. The food at the hotel restaurant was great and the menu was well balanced. The hotel is 10 minutes ride from the main city attractions.

Excellent location, staff, and overall experience. Very nice and helpful front desk and restaurant staff. Very good breakfast bar. Some stars lost due to noise, lax smoking tolerance, and plumbing including the general and common issue with toilet paper disposal in Greece.
