The owners are incredibly nice people! Breakfast was awesome and fresh. Bed was super comfortable as well. It's in a nice quiet part of the neighborhood as well but also super close to everything

I was originally going to stay in Cusco but decided last minute to stay in Ollantaytambo because altitude is lower. I don't regret my decision in staying in Ollantaytambo but I do regret that I picked Quechua Lodge and would NEVER stay here again. First, my room wasn't cold, it was freezing. There was a gap in the windows and cold air was coming through. My parents are elderly and were freezing. I told the owner and she was annoyed. She offered a portable heater to use for 2 hours on only 1 night. 10 minutes later, room was back to freezing. She offered to give us 3 more covers but never did. We stayed in Room 305 - stay away. Second, we were told that no one could shower after 10:30pm. The reason is she shuts off the boiler so if you showered you were taking a cold shower and to go from a cold room to a cold shower was just terrible. A few of us had no choice but to shower early in the morning and let the water run for a while and then the water was barely tepid. Third, towels were not in rooms and every day we had to go to the front desk to get towels. A few nights, towels were still being washed/ dried so we couldn't shower till late at night but we had the 10:30 curfew which meant we had to shower early in the morning. Very inconvenient. Fourth, no TV in room and this was probably my fault b/c I assumed there would be. My dad has traveled all over Peru and this is the 1st time he hasn't had a TV in his room. If this is the only option, stay in Urubamba.

Peru Quechua’s Lodge in Ollantaytambo was an ideal hotel for our stay in the Sacred Valley for our rock climbing trip. It’s such a great place for adventurous couples. Edith and Stan were the perfect hosts in such a magical place. They were more than happy to arrange parts our travel when we need them like, taxis and tours. The views outside of our window were fantastic, and the sound of the river next door was a perfect natural noise machine. Breakfast was always a good start to the day. The hotel itself is close enough to the main city center to walk everyday, but it was still quiet. Overall, great location and better people.

The hotel was great with lots of heavy bal jets to keep us warm. The location was not far from the main square and very walkable.
