The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff is super helpful and very friendly. You have to go to the roof top open air restaurant- it is gorgeous and the food is excellent. The view of the city is amazing! Don’t miss it! Also the breakfast is very good! A wide variety and very healthy!

Great hotel with rooftop pool and gym. Rooms and apartments are available for larger groups. Right next to Kigali city market - 5min walk. Great staff. There is some construction in the area, so check for your room location.

Great location. AC not adequate in room although lobby was OK. Food average, VIP benefit was free airport shuttle on request. Apparently 'on request' doesn't mean ask reception to book you a free shuttle, you have to request via email. I booked this place largely because of the roof terrace - it's a large, enclosed, uninviting airport hangar of a space & very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend this place, there are many better options.

My first time visiting Rwanda and the staff at Ubumwe were very pleasant and nice. The facility is clean and located in an area with a lot of shops.

I have stayed at Ubumwe severally but this particular time was a major dissapointment.The staff were rude,the foood was terrible and overall the service was below average. The room i was checked in was too noisy and even when i moved the other room was too small stuffy and overall not so clean.I was in room 509 and i did not enjoy my stay.

Would definitely not recommend staying there. The staff is lost although polite and nice, but have no idea what customer service is about and entails. It took four emails and a phone call to arrange something as simple as an airport pick-up so the stay certainly did not start on a high note. No hot water in the room the last night/last morning of the stay. No room upgrade that was supposedly part of the "Hotels.com Gold Member Perks", though room availability was evident on their website. For my last night, I stayed at "5 Swiss Hotel" nearbly: half the price for a cleaner room, working shower, and much nicer staff.

If you’re looking for a clean convenient place to stay, this is it! The restaurant staff could do with more training in being adaptable to clients requests but that may be a hotel restaurant policy. Otherwise a great stay
