Mimi's Hotel Soho

Nice hotel in a good location, but they charge £10 to leave a bag for a few hours … a hotel as nice or nicer down the street holds your bag for free.

Right in the heart of Soho... it was a real vibe. Great little bar on the ground level. Great restaurants, nightlife, shopping, The room was modest in size and I bet it has a real history to it, but I quite enjoyed the quirkiness.

Cute boutique hotel. Tiny rooms, expensive but in a great location. I had to pay to keep my luggage in storage for a few hours.

Tiny room. Claustrophobic. Charging £10 to store baggage after checking out is disgraceful.

Quaint boutique hotel in the heart of SOHO. From the hotel It was an easy walk through SOHO, Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, and Westminster sites. Lobby bar was open all day, and a quieter retreat from the weekend revelry just outside. The room was small, not unlike typical European accommodations, but modern and well kept. I’d stay there again.

The room was hot and the air con unit squeaked very loudly when you put it on. We were away from the hotel in a separate block which was not clear on the booking and was 4 flights up with no lift, which is OK when you don't have luggage - not a great stay to be honest

The location was perfect, so walkable and so much around! Overall, the hotel didn’t necessarily impress us. We were unaware at the time of booking that our room was in “The Annex”, located around the corner from the main hotel building. This Annex is not identified as Mimi’s hotel, it is a random teal coloured door next to a bar. There is no elevator in the Annex, with rooms on all 4 levels.. so be prepared for lots of stairs. Our original room upon check in was not what we thought we had booked according to the photos. The bathroom was very very small, incredibly hot and had a terrible smell to it. We alerted the front desk and they sent someone up to spray air freshener, this accomplished nothing. There was no window in this room, rather an incredibly small “balcony” entirely enclosed by surrounding walls of buildings. The “balcony” was home to many pigeons, so we could not leave the door open to allow for fresh air. This room was very dark, very small with no room for our suitcases. We later asked to be moved to a different room, which ended up being on the top floor of the Annex. The room was a bit bigger, with a small couch to provide a different sitting area than the bed. The bathroom was very spacious. However, on our first night in this new room, we were greeted by a large cockroach on our bathroom counter. When we alerted the hotel the following day, they did not seem surprised. They offered to deep clean our room.. Overall, good location, just an ok hotel.

Good location but a service charge for storage of luggage when departing seems unreasonable.

WILL NOT BE BACK I really liked this hotel and I’ve stayed here many times over the past couple of years. It’s in a great central location it’s stylish and the staff are great. However I checked out this morning to go for lunch and fly hime later and was informed it would be £20 to leave my 2 bags here for a couple of hours. I use this hotel as a base to travel around London and leaving my bags is the whole point. What a pity.

Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned well each day. Terrific location with distance to restaurants/pubs being mere minutes. Chinatown was only about .3 miles. Tube station was nearby also. Hotel had a nice comfortable pub at the main entrance.

This is very clean comfortable hotel in an excellent location for theatres , china town and tubes. 2 min walk to Prince Edward Theatre in the heart of Soho’s pubs and restaurants. The room is small but we knew that when we booked but perfect for an overnight stay . It has everything you need lovely hot shower big comfy bed and very quiet .I would book again.

Before staying at Mimi's, I had read a review that someone picked up bed bags at the hotel. I made a point of confirming with the hotel in writing that the problem had been dealt with. When I stayed in room 207 last night, I also picked up bed bugs. Clearly, the problem has not been dealt with and this hotel needs to be closed down until this is the case. I also want my money back. To add insult to injury, I know have to pay for an exterminator.

Bed bugs!!! Beware!!!! The studio rooms in the annex have bed bugs! I was bitten on my leg. When i told front desk they just played ut off. No wonder it smelled of bug poison/spray in the room and hallway. What a horrible hotel!

My stay at Mimi's was great, just on Greek Street but not noisy at all at night. There was a small bit of mould in the bathroom as the ventilation was not great but overall a lovely stay.

Absolutely fantastic. Very central location right in the middle of Soho. Spotless room, quiet, great AC, friendly staff, solid price and extremely comfortable. Everything I could have wanted on a short trip to London and will for sure be staying there again.

The plus points - lovely Comfy bed, nice linen, nice toiletries, nice thick curtains. Poor points: previous guest opened food in fridge, tea and coffee not replenished. Room away from main hotel with music from bar noticeable late into the night. Hard to work the lighting in the room and fault switch on lamp. The hotel did try to rectify the issues in fairness, but I expected a lot better for the price of a nights stay.

It said it was very clean. The room was small, but very quiet and very comfortable! Perfect location for walking all around London and seeing the major sites!

Fantastic location in Soho and lovely bar area. Our room was tony which was fine as we were only there for one night. It was however, very hot and the air conditioning didn’t work very well.

Lovely hotel. Great location. Bar area was hopping in the evening. The highlight was all the people that worked there. Each one helpful and kind. BUT do not stay in the smallest room available. It was frighteningly tiny. Nice bed and bathroom but never have been in one so miniscule. Treat yourself to one that is bigger then it will be perfect.

Great staff, super easy to walk or find nearby transit to and from landmarks. Best shower I've ever had in a hotel.

Small, but we knew that going in. We needed a comfortable place to crash while spending the days exploring London and attending theatre productions. Mimi's was located in the heart of the theatre district. It's rooms were clean, soundproofed, and had actual Air Conditioning. If you need a safe, nice, and convenient place to lay your head, this is a great place to do so. Staff was friendly and helpful

Front staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was easy and stress free. Room: basically a closet. I’ve never seen a smaller hotel room. No window. Claustrophobics beware. Air conditioning was nice. Shower was nice. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Good location. Walkable and close to restaurants, pubs, tube station.

Cute little boutique hotel in the centre of Soho, I had a pod-room with no window for one night. It worked well, the condition and cleanliness was very high standard. The room was freezing cold, and the ventilation was noisy, with no option to turn it off. As someone who hates air conditioning, this was a huge minus. I slept well, but woke up feeling refridgerated. There’s a very busy and loud bar right next to the reception, so it’s hard to communicate with the staff, as they don’t seem to make an effort to speak any louder. I would consider staying there again, but not during a London heatwave.

Having stayed at Mimi’s many times before and since I was coming for 3 nights, I took care to budget a little more and avoid any of the rooms that had “no wardrobe” in the title. I was very disappointed to find, then, that not only did my room not have a wardrobe but that it was even smaller than the rooms in the basement I made my point at reception immediately and to be honest, would have been happy with an apology & maybe a voucher for a drink at the bar (the cocktails are good), but instead the young men attending reception blamed me for booking a room that didn’t state that it had a wardrobe (none of them say this, not even the penthouse), that it wasn’t their fault, that I should complain to the platform (I did but was told, quite predictably, that the hotel controls the listings) and that they weren’t going to apologise or offer any form of recompense. It was the most appalling misogynistic behaviour I have received as a hotel customer. It is a shame as the hotel is in a perfect location for me now that my company had returned to Soho. But obviously, I will never go back. Additionally, the new owners have put no money into the property. Halogen lights in the room, bathroom fittings tired, the broadband had clearly been downgraded (7MBpS is not even fast enough for desk work, let alone calls) & no mobile signal in the room. I have given a second star as I requested an additional pillow from the evening receptionist & it was in my room when I returned from dinner).

Weekend break, arrived early friendly staff on the desk , asked to leave bag so we could have a wonder before check-in to our surprise the room was ready and we could check in straight away very happy

Stayed here numerous times and it’s always great. This time the guy at check in had an attitude though. After waiting for several minutes at an empty reception him and his colleague came. Gave him my last name in which the booking for two rooms were. When done he gave me 1 keycard and I therefore told him I booked two rooms. He asked if I did two separate bookings to which I said no. He insisted I did, I insisted I did not. Very child like behavior and very uncalled for as I was very relaxed despite check-in being a mess. This guy should not be front office.

Incredible location.. love the decor .. great value for central London. Ephrem on reception was really helpful and friendly.

RUN!! This place SUCKED! It took hours to check in. They put me in a tiny room which is located two blocks from the hotel. It was THREE FLIGHTS of STAIRS with luggage. No elevator. It was a remodel but it was old and dingy. The bathroom was tiny. It is located over a Karoke bar with music blasting. AC sucks. RUN!

The hotel has a great location, within walking distances of pubs, restaurants and most of the theaters Service is really good, staff members are very friendly The room was as small as advertised, but good enough to fit my luggage, a comfortable bed and its own bathroom. Cozy as it could be.

Staff were unaccommodating to schedule change and blamed booking site for inability to modify when the booking site told me that they had authority to make the change.

This was probably my 10th stay. I always use this hotel when in central London for a few days. Convenient location, excellent beds, great shower and air con that works properly. Good price for this part of town too. And staff that are friendly, recognise you from before and do things like checking you in early if they can. No frills but subtly chic decor that suits the traditional building.

Look, vibe, service was like a 5 🌟 hotel. It will be my go to wherever I visit London in the future!

Great location, friendly helpful staff

The main issue for me was a lack of room key for 3 hrs after I had checked in. The room key system was down and the staff had to let me in and out of my room.

Perfect location! Bring headphones for the street noise. Right by the Tottenham court road tube station

Mimi's was located in a great party of SoHo. Very walkable to the nights we went to the theatre, sightseeing, dining and so much more.

Stayed here very often. Perfect for short stays in West End. Lively area but always a good night's sleep. Excellent air con. Close to Elizabeth line so a short hop to Paddington.

Located in the heart of lively Soho, surrounded by bars, cafes, restaurants, shopping, public transit. The hotel is small, charming, well kept, and seems well run and efficient. The room was comfortable but very small. I would stay here again but in a larger room.

Location, location, location. Cool little hotel in the heart of Soho. 5min walk to Tottenham Court Station which is an inexpensive 25min tube ride to Heathrow. Walking distance to a ton of shops, restaurants and cafes. Added bonus, tiny park around the corner to relax, have a coffee etc. The staff was quite nice too.

Excellent location to most attractions and entertainment options. Furthermore, a great hotel if you are out and about a lot.

A really great stay for 1 night, if you have plans and don't intend on being in the room, the standard (very small) room does exactly what you need! The location is out of this world, close to everything you could ever need in Soho. Only let down was not a single vegan option available in the continental breakfast so I had to walk out early to get some food. If that could be added would be a much better experience.

Lovely stay at Mimis. The room was beautiful as well as a gorgeous bathroom (and surprise of a bath tub!). The area was a lot of fun with many bars and restaurants - a little loud but it quietes down around 11pm. The bar/lounge downstairs was great and served the most amazing coffee in the morning. Walking distance to shops and Oxford street as well as many theaters and sites.

This is a nice hotel absolutely right in the middle of Soho in London’s West End. Next door to a pub and really just a minutes walk to many many many very good bars with music etc. It’s much less expensive than other hotels nearby Now we’ve discovered it, we stay several times a year The staff are very friendly and put themselves out to assist The downsides: the rooms for that good price are small. Like really, really small. Just a double bed with no space underneath, no wardrobe and no windows. The floor space next to the bed is about 1 (one) square metre. But it’s super clean, has a big flatscreen tv at the foot of the bed and feels nice to snuggle down in. The en-suite shower room is clean and bright. The whole room is very pleasant. You hang your stuff on a few coat hooks so only bring a medium sized rucksack with just what you need. We only use it get ready to go out (nice with the tv on) and to sleep. It’s perfect for that They don’t do breakfast other than coffee and tea and danishes. Which are very good quality We always sit in the nicely decorated bar for a while on our way out. Drinks are pretty pricey but I guess not too much considering the location (I suppose) We often go sit in the bar even when we’re just in the area even if we’re not staying in the hotel Very good hotel and bar. Love it :)

I love this hotel! This is my third stay. It's like staying in a prviate home! Fantastic location - in the center of things but far enough away to be quiet, The rooms are small, so select your room carefully. When they say no windows or closet, that means no widows or closet. I wold recommend a window! But it's sophistacted and stylish and it's my London address when I'm there.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of SOHO. The street was bustling, but my room was quiet and comfortable, and perfect for one person. Everything about my 4 night stay was lovely, and I enjoyed breakfast and having drinks at the bar with friends in the evening. Highly recommend!
