Mercearia D'Alegria Boutique B&B

The staff from making dinner reservations before our arrival to providing many local tips- the staff was so helpful and friendly. We used the bikes that are included in the stay for a fun ride around Peniche. The rooms were clean and quiet. We loved the outdoor courtyard spaces offered, too.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. It has been decorated very imaginatively and there are lots of pieces of art to examine. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly cooked eggs. I would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to friends.

a friendly greeting and intro, a clean room tastefully and artistically out-of-the-box decor using economic resources uniquely - and well designed function. Appreciated that bikes were free to use with signing for responsibility. Location was close to water - though no view. Breakfast was simple but prepared to your order and was enjoyable. Parkjng was very close - just outside the courtyard door and free - side street with little traffic.

Lovely little B&B! Nice outdoor areas, friendly/helpful staff and good breakfast.
