What a fun hotel. Hot Springs were great!! Rooftop bar was AMAZING!! Good drinks, good food and GREAT view. The touch screen room controls were fun. Nice views!!! Overall a great stay. Would stay again.

It was my first time to Buffalo and I chose one of the best hotels in the downtown area. Not much around as it seemed pretty quiet but great hidden gems around for food and drinks. The hotel was gorgeous and loved the room decor, very dark and cozy and had some cool amenities and it was a smart hotel and eco friendly so everything was automatic and easy to use. The hot spring spa was free and really nice to end the night in especially while it was snowing a bit. Gym was quite small but had a few machines for cardio and full rack of dumbbells but not much space to use but I managed well. Spa was great and relaxing and offers great packages. I never made it to the rooftop lounge but the rotating lobby bar was nice and wasn’t very loud. The on property restaurant was nice for breakfast and dinner. I would definitely return

The famous rotating bar one of the attractions we actually booked the hotel for was broken. The continental breakfast was better at the Hyatt honestly. This breakfast was abysmal for the price. The hot springs were amazing and the hotel is beautiful overall.

This place is awesome! Rooftop bar with firepit and views of the city and lake. Large Mineral hot springs ‘hot tub’ with quiet sitting area. Fun rotating bar in lounge. Beautiful breakfast in the morning! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Overall wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!

This is a very nice hotel. My room was quiet and parking was very easy. Only con is they have a busy restaurant on site and rooftop bar. It could feel congested getting to the elevator. But once on my floor everything was fine

Stayed one night. Had a great room. Clean, nice bed and hi tech shower! One complaint is the bidet didn’t work, not a huge deal since it was a short stay. The urban hot springs and valet are a great perks!

Beautiful hotel a bit over priced. Vehicles are parked off site so you have no access. Very noisy area, fridge wont keep anything cold, furniture was very stained and there was several children in the roman bath. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Great establishment. I was referred by a friend and it did not disappoint. Urban hotsprings and rooftop bar and bonfire.

A very fun place and excellent restaurant. enjoyed the Roman Spa.

Sadly, due to it being a rainy evening, we missed seeing the much-touted rooftop bar—they closed early, about 10 minutes before we got back from the Judy Collins show! But Matt took good care of us at the lobby bar—where he had to inform me that we weren’t going to be revolving since that feature needs repair. All in all, though, we had a lovely stay. Fully enjoyed the Urban Hot Springs before our delicious meal at Chez Ami! Service there was top notch.

Hotel needs updating. Carpets to paint to lounge to spa. Everything seems old and used and not fresh. Alot of band aid fixes going on. What's up with your complimentary breakfast include in your nightly charge. Worst hotel breakfast I have ever encountered at a hotel.

This was a very clean, comfortable and convenient hotel. The shower was very nice.

This trip was good but not great or excellent. Honestly, it was a bunch of little things and a lack of attention to detail. Out toon had some trash from the people before; the hot springs whirlpool was dirty as well as the floor surrounding it. The food is hit or miss with smaller portions, which would be fine if it was amazing. The agreement says there’s a shuttle, four years later and they haven’t updated the verbiage that it’s been shutdown since Covid. The robes are not size inclusive and only go up to a size L. We were awaken by a 7am fire alarm because someone burnt toast. The $20 charcuterie board we ordered for room service didn’t have some of the ingredients it was supposed to come with etc.

This is an excellent hotel. My wife and I marveled over all the amenities. It was very clean, quiet and staff was exceptional. We will be back again.

The hotel was nice but the bed & pillows were very uncomfortable. The pillows weighed like 10 lbs each. The bed was squeaky & the sheets were very noisy. Breakfast was very nice - never did eat a meal at the restaurants- went for other options. The spa was very nice & the “hot springs” was nice although it just seemed like a big hot tub.

Walls are paper thin; I could hear everything in the room next door. I could also clearly hear constant loud slamming doors in the hallway, especially in the morning (maybe housekeeping?). You will not be sleeping in here. Other than that, no complaints. Beautiful property, high tech room, friendly staff.

First night - the entire light system kept coming on about every 40 minutes. Very disturbing to try to sleep when the room lights up all frequently all night. When I reported this to front desk in the morning, I was met with an “oh ya that happens, may need to reset the breaker! Question- why hasn’t it been fixed. Buffalo’s “Only 5 Star” hotel is more like a 3 star.

This is a fantastic hotel. The room was beautiful with all sorts of home automation. Great blackout blinds. The bathroom was over the top with a nice stand up shower as well with a soaker tub. We will stay here again for sure. Breakfast exceeded expectations.

The property was pretty high tech, which took some getting used to. I also couldn't open the curtains to enjoy the view of the parking garage ; ). But the room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable.

Best part of hotel is hot springs. Didn’t have any massage openings. Be aware there is like zero sound proofing. We could hear every word from other room. Sounded like people were in our room, we could hear drunk girls yelling all night. Beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are trash! The sheets are rough and felt cheap!! Sad for the amount of money should upgrade beds and pillows.

The only thing I don’t like about this hotel is the lighting in the bathroom is terrible. It is very difficult to put on makeup. Other than that, this hotel is amazing.

My wife and I stayed to go to a concert and the evening didn't quite go as planned, but the staff went above and beyond to assist us. I would highly recommend this property and will be coming back soon.

Pretty hotel. Very moody vibe. Nice amenities especially the salt spring pool. Keurig in-room was full of empties so that hadn't been cleaned out for some time before our stay; so full we couldn't use it. Staff didn't seem well-trained. Staff sent to the wrong floor for the ATM. Then, a staff member told us the closest drug store was a 10 minute walk, which turned out to be at 35 minute walk each way. Also, the hotel charged us twice for our stay. The front desk staff member said she couldn't get a card to process so we gave her another card; well, she ended up charging us on both cards. They tried to rectify it after we told them, but more than 24 hours after we left, both charges on two different cards remain. Not sure we'd stay again just because of the multiple inconveniences. Also, another guest said he had his car stolen after he valeted it.

Outstanding service

The front desk at check in and check out was not very friendly, didn't really smile, and I didn't feel welcome...almost like they didn't think I was supposed to be there. I was in town on business - despite the gorgeous hotel accommodations, I can't get past how the two ladies made me feel. Not sure I will stay again.

Horrible experience from the GM Jordan. This would have been my 5th time staying in this location, and never had been asked that my whole crew of 5 people that I had arrived with for a friend's birthday dinner and was told I couldn't check in until all 5 showed ID. Without even asking and assuming they were staying in the hotel room I asked for what reason was ID needed for all my guests he said it "was policy" I've been here with other multiple guests and never been asked for them to show ID besides just the person paying. He embarrassed my family and I in front of others saying he can just cancel my reservation if I didn't agree with the policy. This is 5 latin woman. I've checked in with other friends which were Caucasian and never had the front desk demand ID from my whole group. This GM not only took the time to walk outside and take a look at my family and then stand in front of his computer and belittle me with canceling my reservation. I really felt that he was bias on his actions towards my family who were there just to eat dinner at the restaurant not staying at the hotel which he "assumed" then after all the embarrassment and arguing back and forth with me again feeling unvalued as a returning guest Jordan says it was because the one person in my group that "looked" under 18. So which was the policy here? He looked at everyone's IDs then changed his reason after he seen that we are legal? Is this what we're doing to your hispanic customers? Horrible experience.

A horrible group of guests were very loud and rude in the hallway during the night and woke us up. This went on for about 1 to 2 hours. A fight broke out in the hallway among that group. We called 4x times the front desk downstairs to let them know, no one answered. Police finally came to settle this issue however no one from the hotel apologized for this inconvenience. When we complained this morning about not having any sleep because of this, the guy at front desk just brushed me off. It's too bad as it is a very nice and clean hotel however the staff in general is not friendly nor customer service oriented. Even at the restaurant, waiter and Manager were not friendly. Really poor service in general...

Convenient location, walkable to sports park, staff very friendly. Modern amenities, spacious room. Room a touch noisy; street noise especially, but I was on second floor so it was somewhat expected. Overall I recommend this hotel.

We were there for a Sabers game. It was perfect for us!

The room was spectacular, truly, but absolutely no view whatsoever. No dining anywhere within walking distance after 10 pm on a Saturday night.

The Curtiss is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Buffalo, where I travel monthly for work. Conveniently located in downtown Buffalo, it's just a short walk to restaurants and other essential amenities. The staff are always friendly and exceptionally accommodating. I also love the dining options, and the rotating bar is an extra special treat!

Beautiful room, all the extras great lighting controls, and spa like shower. Rooftop bar is a fun spot to spend an evening. Great location to enjoy downtown Buffalo.

The hotel was very nice but a bit dated. The pool was more like a large Jacuzzi. The roof bar was great, but just for drinks had dinner there and it took 45mins to get a pizza. I also ordered a salad with shrimp on it and I had eaten the salad by the time the brought me the shrimp. There wasn't anything open around the hotel. It felt like a ghost town. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to go.

Beautiful hotel with a valet service. Very friendly staff. Only downside was the breakfast we attended at 9:45 a.m. (breakfast ends 10:30 a.m.) and there was almost no food available or a clean spot to sit

Continental breakfast better than most places, but go early because options are not replenished. Staff including valet, front desk, restaurant can be more polished. Just a little rough in their approach and interaction. Hot Springs was a great! Highly recommend.

This was one of the nicest hotels ive ever stayed in. Very high tech rooms and clean. The food was great as well.
