Rooms were nice. Breakfast was very bad. Milk was spoiled and had lumps in it. The outside doors did not work with keycards even to the pool area so we had to walk around to the front entrance every time.

Hallways rugs were dirty the pool was dirty and the.bbq area wasn't quite ready to be use

Side doors all inoperative. Poor elevator. Breakfast good. Only partially cleaned room.

Valaina was the best part of our 7 night stay. She was always so welcoming and greeted us with a smile. All of the staff including housekeeping were very friendly and eager to accommodate … if given the right tools, this hotel could be exceptional. The breakfast was not that great. Please consider offering waffles/ variety of fruit daily. The milk was spoiled. The pool was missing half the water and we had to wait 2 days to use it. I canceled my reservations at another hotel specifically for the waffles seen in your hotel pictures and the pool. (My daughter loves both). The rooms are so dated, even my kids notes how dark and dingy they were. If you are planning on cooking bring your own pans and cooking utensils as these were not available. The doors are extremely heavy and the key cards don’t work very well sometimes took 3-4 times to open the door. The laundry machines are dated but did the job. Would have been nice to have a few machines on each floor. Again.. your staff, without a doubt, were the best hotel staff I’ve encountered in a long time. Now give them the tools they need to make this a hotel everyone will want to come back to.

From the moment my Bestie and I checked in we were greeted with nothing but smiles and chatter from the Front desk employees! They were all awesome throughout our stay! The room was nice and mostly clean except when we found a rogue fork behind a table leg, which unless housekeeping moved the table, they wouldn't have seen it. We moved the table to play cards. Beds were comfy, good hot water for showers. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The gym was clean but only had 1-5lb dumbell but was still able to do my workout and I wish they had had something like a Leg Press machine for a good leg workout, but I made do. Loved having a full kitchen and fridge. We were located centrally to all the things we wanted to do throughout Charleston, Mt Pleasant, N. Charleston and saved money by staying here rather downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was super friendly all throughout the property. And they were constantly cleaning. Complimentary breakfast was a good set up and had a decent variety. We got back late one evening and to park in the back. We were unable to access the door by the pool or another side door with our room key. We got both green and red lights in the key lock. So we had to walk around the whole property to get back inside at midnight. Would stay again if in the West Ashley/James Island area.

There wasn't enough parking. The parking lot was difficult to navigate. There was only two luggage carriers for the entire hotel. It was difficult to see the hotel and drives due to large bushes.

Friendly staff and check-in was smooth. More parking would be a plus.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were nice enough for a couple nights; however the bathrooms could have been cleaner. In addition, several cars were broken into the night we stayed, so there should be more cameras or security to help alleviate things like this from occurring again.

It is convenient to downtown and West Ashley. My first room was dirty and had a used wash cloth in the shower, a half used bottle of lotion by the sink which was lined with dirt and hair. Additionally, there was hair on a pillow in a perfectly made bed. My second room was somewhat clean, but a large amount of dust had accumulated on the bathroom vent, and a huge collection of dirt, dust, and hair was littered across the boxspring under the headboard of the bed.

The room was way below par for cleanliness. The shower curtain was moldy, the shower was broken, and the sheets felt like plastic. I would definitely not stay at this property again.

Found a small cockroach in the bathroom. Well that should be fixed. Service is something that certainly can improve. Asked for bedding set for the sofa bed got blanket that was not even fully dry. Rooms can have more towels. 4th floor had weed smell at times. These thing have to be stopped. Breakfast is good though at times refill can be a bit slow.

The first thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of moth balls. There was also random body hair on the shower walls. I tried using the “sink” in the room but the drain did not drain… I wouldn’t stay here if they gave again me a free room.

How can you recommend such a place. The rooms smell like mildew!!!! I went in my first room and it was still unattended, still dirty. Dirty sheets and towels!!!

During our stay we have to change rooms 2 times in first one heater not working in second room which they assign us was having faulty tv and terrible condition room but we stayed there but in the night we saw big cockroach in bathroom. So after arguing for hour they assign us 3rd room.

The staff was amazing! they were very friendly and helpful. However, we didn't have our room cleaned or receive fresh towels for our entire stay and we even had to ask for more toilet paper because no one checked our room.

We got to the hotel, and the first room we had was infested with cockroaches. we were moved to another floor and the room was fine, however we NEVER got service, even after asking for it, multiple times.

Exceptionally clean

Our first room had a huge tear in the rug! Unsightly and unsafe. We were there for 5 nights and our room was never cleaned. It was “refreshed “ the day before we left but the bathroom was not cleaned or the room dusted. They made the bed and changed the towels. I have stayed in other townessuites which were great. This hotel is worn and tired.

Plenty of room for the wife and kids. It was a family event and we went a day early and let us merge the reservations so we did not have to change rooms. Great place overall.

We really loved it here and even wished we stayed more than a night. We got the two room suite with kitchenette and it was like being in a really nice apartment. Spacious and clean and well-lit.

Bed was hard as a rock and my head sunk right through the two pillows. The AC unit turning on and off was so loud it woke me up throughout the night. Was not a comfortable night sleep. Liked the kitchenette and the free breakfast is one of the better ones

The staff is very friendly, the room is in great condition, and the bed comfortable. However, the water pressure in the shower is poor, making it very difficult to wash your hair or even rinse off properly.

Big rooms,kitchenette had all essential items. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very nice. Area is very convenient. I will definitely stay again.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. The suite room I reserved the dishwasher didn’t work and neither did the toaster. That was disappointing.

The television saturation was messed up, and the entire tv screen was tinted blue (think Willy wonka blueberries blue). Overall was a good option, good breakfast, spacious rooms and overall fairly decent.

The only I didn't like is the Internet is slow and the TV is not enough options in the application for streaming movies on Amazon on the TV because Internet issues on the laptop.

The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and so helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was very clean, spacious, and truly felt just like home. I’ll definitely be booking again the next time I visit Charleston.

I booked this hotel because the rooms have full kitchens and I planned on cooking dinner each night. I called the hotel to ensure that the rooms did have everything needed to cook meals for a family of 4 and I was told yes, they did. When we arrived and were assigned a room, after unpacking half of our items, we realized that the handles for the stovetop were broken and the cooktop would not work. We repacked our things and were assigned to a new room that did have a working cooktop. However, the only cooking item in the room was an extremely small pot and lid that I could pick up with one hand. The first morning the breakfast at the hotel was fine, it was a weekend and the breakfast included biscuits, grits, waffles, etc so that everyone in my family had something to eat. Unfortunately, that is only offered on the weekends which I did not know before booking this hotel. There were no plain biscuits, no waffles, no grits and the orange juice was out 2 days in a row. The “scrambled eggs” were undercooked each day we were there. Both my husband and I experienced rude service from most of the staff, only the young woman who checked us in was professional and seemed to understand that she was working a job. When my husband asked the front desk for more bath towels, she sighed because she was on her cell and acted put-out to have to stop her personal conversation. I had to ask the front desk for pool towels and the man acted the same way, also on his cell the whole time.

The staff at this property stands out for their courtesy, pleasantness, and willingness to solve any problem. Our television initially was not working, but a maintenance man came, explored the issue, found the problem, and fixed it. The breakfast staff was talkative, friendly, and welcoming, and the front desk very accommodating. Kudos to management as well for hiring people who want to be of assistance.

I checked in late. There was a guest ahead of me who seemed to have an issue, and I didn’t mind waiting. However, when it was my turn, the staff member handed me the key and explained things in a very cold manner, without even a simple apology for the long wait.

Some of the staff was great friend and helpful, other staff wasn’t. Things were empty, dirty or broken and just left for days unless you told the staff several times. They seemed a bit understaffed and the general management leadership seem missing. Had an issue and was told the general manager would address it, not once in the 7 day stay did I hear from them and nothing after I left. It seemed like a headless staff. Again some were great and others just okay.

Love this location. Central to everything. Easy to get in and out. Well lit, great parking, felt very safe, great restaurants close by. Great TV w Netflix option. Even the most modern hotel will have cable-I don’t get it.

The services was great from cleaning services ,breakfast and front desk. I used the gym and laundry room. Great location to explore Charleston. Some good restaurants and groceries stores.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location nothing is more than 20 minutes away. Definitely will be staying here again in the near future.

Had a wonderful stay! Room was spacious with kitchen and full refrigerator. Breakfast had plenty of options. Plenty of room to sit and eat. Place was in a quiet area just off Rt. 17. Easy access to Charleston. Front desk people were so kind and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely love this hotel. The staff are friendly and always have good feedback about local things to do. The continental breakfast is good. The rooms are super clean and up to date. We have stayed here before and were thrilled to get placed in the same room as last time. It's quiet and convenient to downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, and the airport. We will always stay here when we visit the area.

Everyone was really nice, breakfast was better than most hotels. It was great having a full kitchen available.

I probably wouldn't stay here again. There was a roach on the floor when we got in and the breakfast was terrible. "Fresh" omelets were brought out while I was at the breakfast bar and they were somehow still cold. The biscuits were hard and there weren't many other options.
