Sapa Clay House - Mountain Retreat

Un hébergement parfait et une famille accueillante et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé 5 jours avec un enfant de 2.5 ans. Le site est magnifique et tranquille, mais à seulement quelques minutes de taxi/Grab de la ville ou du village de Lao Chai pour marché avec un guide. Le déjeuner inclu à la carte était très bon, et le service de restaurant du soir est parfait également. Nous y avons soupé tous les soirs et sans hesitation. Tout est fait avec soins. Ils nous ont conseillé sur les activités. Ils ont également le Tonkin spa en ville que nous avons apprécié, ainsi que le café-terrasse adjacent au spa avec la magnifique vue sur la vallée. Bref, je ne peux que recommander le Sapa Clay House.

Ok sted. Flot udsigt. Dog bærer stedet præg af slitage. I vores værelse var der sprækker ved og i døren og det samme ved det ene vindue. I badeværelset er der et badekar som man skal op i for tage bad. Lidt simpel morgenmad. Det var også lidt specielt at vi var de eneste på stedet, da de lukker ned pga ferie i forbindelse med det kinesiske nytår. Stedet ligger lidt udenfor byen, men det er billigt at tage en Grab frem og tilbage. Vi købte via hotellet en guidet tur. Super sød lokal guide. Hun talte rigtig godt engelsk. Stedet er ok til en eller 2 overnatninger.

Sapa Clay House was a first class experience. We have traveled around the world and Clay House will be remembered as one of our top tier experiences. Every detail, from the extreme hospitality, to the bedding, to the food was simply incredible. Hospitality: We were at clay house for about 24 hours but felt like family within the first hour. I am genuinely sad to leave the good people who make clay house a home. we had lovely conversations throughout our days and felt like we were in truly the best hands for all of our bookings around Sapa. we especially loved learning that the staff take a few days off to go on vacation together every year - they had just returned from Thailand - it makes sense given how truly close and happy everyone is. Food: holy cow. We love good food and elevated experiences. We have eaten at Michelin star restaurants around the world. Every dish at Sapa Clay House is on par with the best restaurants we’ve been to. We were continuously in awe of the beauty, freshness, taste, and presentation of our lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Chef Huan could have a job at any restaurant in the world. We are so lucky that he is the chef at Clay house. I wish we could have stayed and eaten there for a week. Our wine was also fantastic. Cooking class: best one we’ve ever had (compared to Tuscany, Sicily, Japan, Spain, Denver, etc).

The views were fantastic, and the hotel staff were outstanding—consistently going out of their way to be helpful. The food ranged from very good to excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Clay House mountain retreat provides a peace serene experience in a beautiful hillside setting. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and always unique in preparation and presentation.
