The room was super clean. Good amount of soap, towels. Only the inconvenience is no drop off in front of hotel. If you take taxi you need to drop at the adjacent road and walk.

This property is located centrally in Singapore. Not far from many places, however the bus lane is located directly in front of the hotel thereby taxis and Grab drivers have to pick you up or drop you off across the street. Be careful in the shower/ bathroom. The floors are tiled and the shower shoots directly onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. There aren't any dressers or counter space in the bathroom to place your toiletries. Aside from that the stay was rather nice and quiet. There are no restaurants on site but plenty nearby.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fenster. Klein, aber modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Gute Lage um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss zu erkunden. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür und auch die Metrostation war in der Nähe. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Wasserspender auf dem Hotelflur fanden wir praktisch.

This hotel was in a great location. The hip on hop off bus and other city transportation was just outside the lobby. Walking to restaurants and other sights was easy. The hotel room was clean but very small. Amenities included a hot pot, house shoes, and toiletries. There was also a hot and cold water device to refill water bottles or make cup of hot beverage.

Booked this hotel for our stopover for 2 nights travelling from Australia to the UK. Based on cost and location. The room was entirely functional, clean and had sufficient space. The staff were superb, sorting out the faulty safe within 20 minutes of reporting it. The hotel has no dining facilities but there are plenty of options nearby. The nearest MRT (underground) was Clarke Quay, which was about 5 minutes' walk, so very convenient. Overall, we would stay here again.

Good value for the price. Dining options for a GF person was limited in immediate area although found around town using public transportation or long walk. Public transportation is right out front of hotel ( bus stop) so there's always folks hanging around during the day and early evening. Overall, place is quite,clean and has on site laundry.

The quay hotel is in a great location next to tourist attractions and Singapore river area ! Hotel room is very small but well kept ! Staff members are very friendly! They got a laundry room on the top floor very nice! Front desk employees are very kind and helpful! Hotel amenities are limited but price is affordable for the area you staying at ! Most attractions are in walking distance! Lots of places prefer cash but that can be negotiated! Love my stay though! Hotel is in excellent condition and well located! Will be back when am In Singapore

Staff were friendly and helpful and check in was a quick and smooth process. Hotel was about a 10 min walk from the train stations and easy to find. However, I had read previous reviews about rooms that smelt musty and mouldy, and that’s exactly what I got. I had a standard single room and it was so difficult to breathe, despite the air con being on. Staff couldn’t change my room as the hotel was fully booked, but they did come to spray air freshener, which only helped for about 5 mins. I would have gone to stay somewhere else if it wasn’t so late. Definitely unsafe for your health and lungs and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Perhaps other rooms may not be as bad, but if you get given room 407, I strongly advise you request a change! I’m just awaiting to see if I can receive any compensation for it.

The room smells like sewage, it came from the shower drain, we covered it to avoid sleeping with sewage stinks. There is no ice dispenser in the hotel. The front desk staff goes missing during random times during the day without a way to contact, so have to wait around. The construction noise from both sides of the building from 8am -6pm, can’t rest during the day.

Sehr gute Lage des Hotels, man ist sehr schnell am Fluss. Leider war die Sauberkeit nicht gut. Auf dem Toilettensitz war viele Haare und das Bettlaken und die Decke hatten an vielen Stellen Flecken. Ohne Zweifel war die Bettwäsche gewaschen, wenn man dann als Gast, im Bettwäsche schlafen soll, die an vielen Stellen mutmaßliche Blutflecken aufweist, dann ist das schon sehr fragwürdig. Der Checkin und der Check out war schnell und effizient.

We had a great stay at the Quay, which is walkable and also has a bus stop right in front of the hotel. There were many shops and restaurants around to enjoy. The actual room was very clean and comfortable.

Das Zimmer war in guter Lage. Allerdings war unser Zimmer sehr sehr klein, nicht mal Platz um seinen Koffer irgendwo zu verstauen. Leider war es auch nicht wirklich sauber. Jeden Tag nach der „Reinigung“ lag noch immer eine Spange mit Haaren vom ersten Tag an dort (sie gehörte mir nicht) und allgemein war es nicht so richtig sauber. Die Zimmer waren extrem hellhörig und die Reinigungskräfte haben morgens früh ohne Hemmungen so viel Krach gemacht wie es nur ging. Für den Preis wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.

Stayed just for one night on a stopover on our way from the UK to Sydney. The staff were helpful, letting us leave our bags there before check in and after check out. The room was modern and clean, good air con and had added extras (slippers, toothbrush etc in room). Location is also super convenient - 5 minutes walk from Boat Quay and 10 minutes from Raffles Place MRT. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Really tiny room with no place to put luggage or really anything else. No place to sit or put clothes. Can’t open windows for fresh air; they were all taped shut. Lots of noise from the street at all hours of the night. Nice bathroom amenity kit, but pack your own conditioner. Slippers, large safe, tiny fridge (that wasn’t cleaned out from previous occupants). The lighting in the bathroom was much too dark, even with the lighted mirror, but this is a common problem in most hotels. It doesn’t seem to occur to hotel room designers that you might actually want to *see* yourself in the bathroom mirror. Overall, the room condition wasn’t great; it was definitely starting to look old and worn. The floors were quite dirty. The location was great in terms of proximity to bars and restaurants, but for the price, there might be nicer properties in the area.

I enjoyed my short stay at the Quay Hotel, it's clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful and accomodating staff, for an English speaking foreigner there were no language barrier as the staff were multilingual. This property was within walking distance to everything I needed from the Merlion Park, Chinatown, Gardens by the bay and finish off with a visit to Lau Pa Sat...with dinner and shopping, Satay Street...a must when visiting. The entrance may appear a little surprising at first, but once you looked past it and embrace the downtown area its a lovely little nook, I truly enjoyed my time in Singapore and the comfort of the Quay Hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located about 6 minutes from an MRT station. I had a single room with no window. The room had a small fridge, a place to put the luggage and a bathroom. Everything was clean and in good condition. Check-in and out was quick with no issues. I had a good, quiet night. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay to be close to the action of the Quay area and if up to it extremely walkable to all the attractions nearby. Definitely a hike in the heat, but if walking isn’t for you then close to an MRT station to make every thing even more accessible!

Great location with boat quay on one side and Chinatown on the other. Loved that they had a fresh Orange juice vending machine. Bus stop was right at the hotel and train station was a 5 min walk at Clarke quay central.
