The property is beautiful. We were very disappointed that the restaurant and bar were not open on the night we stayed. We drove out of our way to go back to this location because of these amenities and our past experience. Also breakfast is only served till 9:30. I arrived at 9:20 and the staff was rushing around breaking breakfast down and it made enjoying breakfast impossible. We did like the outdoor sitting area with fireplaces. Would have been nicer with a cocktail.

The hotel was rated at the top of the scale and most of it was RATED HIGHLY. but the gym was poor at best . The machines were old and the tread mill was quite dirty . It looked as if it has never been cleaned. I have been to many hotel gyms and this one was equipped most poorly.

The hotel pool was cloudy and slimy , filter was not working, the $450 I paid to stay was way over priced , shower floor was stained and there was mold. I was cold overnight no blankets !

Everything was wonderful and will definitely be staying here again. Only issue and it really isn’t a big deal but it was the $10 flat rate fee just to start plus the charging cost to use the EV charging station. Generally it only cost $3-$5 for me to get a full charge, so we decided not to charge.

Most of the staff was very nice. They put us in a handicap room. The bathroom was terrible when you take a shower it would flood the whole bathroom. Went to complain and instead of offering to move us they just laughed and handed us a bunch towels. There was also mold all around the shower floor. Otherwise the place was very clean and the other people working were very friendly. The breakfast and people working it were excellent. The restaurant at nite was also very good.

I am a Marriott customer through and through. Extensively travelled Marriott is usually there for me. They weren't this time though so I booked a Best Western Plus for the first time. What a great experience. The first thing you noticed was the cleanliness, so much so that I though the property was new, not 9 years old. The cleanliness was evident throughout the whole facility . Next the staff, all, without exception, were friendly and polite. This is all you look for in accomodation and i thoroughly recommend it. I will stay in a Best Western Plus again.

What was unique about the property…. The bathroom was filled with disgusting flies, I abruptly woken up at 2 AM and because of all the talking the noise, the sounds something being moved, the ridiculousness banging, and then the chatter of the employees as they made their way to their job positions; but I digress.. it was all the filthy flies in the restroom… disappointing and unclean.

The hotel was very clean. There is a fireplace in the lobby with lots of cozy seating. The dining area was very nice, clean and had a good assortment of breakfast food. Our room was spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the village of Hammondsport and touring the wineries! We will stay here again.

Great check-in. Staff were wonderful. It’s a new hotel but I guess they’re not investing in soundproofing anymore (could hear people walking around in the room above us). Would recommend staying on the top floor if sensitive to sound. Pool was very cold. And the Peloton bike wasn’t hooked up to the app. Room was very clean.

The Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel was a fantastic choice for our family of three adults and two kids. We were immediately impressed by how spacious and spotlessly clean our room was, easily accommodating all five of us. As a traveling family, we especially appreciated the thoughtfulness that the sofa bed was already made up when we arrived—a huge win! All the amenities provided were great and contributed to a very comfortable stay. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, offering plenty of variety for both the adults and the children. Most importantly, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, this was an excellent purchase and we highly recommend it, especially for families!

We really liked everything about this hotel but the thin walls.We we're on the second floor and it sounded like big foot was staying above us!But overall we liked the place.

The facility looked and smelled brand new! But the area had many early closures so there was a little to do after 6 PM. The pool was tiny and cold. And the beds were hard as a rock and very uncomfortable to sleep in. Probably one of the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. Waking up to a great breakfast was a bit of help to get moving for the day. The staff was great from the front desk to the folks that fed us breakfast each morning. Good people good environment.

The property was clean. The night clerk was very pleasant. We are both mildly handicapped. We asked for a stool for the tub/shower. We did not receive one and when my roommate asked about it he got a lecture about the disabilities act. The floor of the tub was so slick I could not use it and had to bathe in the sink. Your prices are expensive. We expected better service U
