We can't fault our stay - the room was clean, parking was easy, breakfast was great and the hosts were very helpful throughout. Perfect location for lots of local attractions. We stayed for 3 nights and climbed Yr Wyddfa one day (approx 40 mins drive), visited Betwys Y Coed (~20 mins) and Zip world (less than 5 min). Thank you!

An enjoyable weekend break, the room was very spacious with a large bathroom and powerful shower. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a self service breakfast was available with cereals, bread for toasting (there was also bacon, scambled egg and beans available). There was off road parking on site for all those staying there. The booking in process prior to arrival was very clear and concise

This is my own personal opinion on a 3 night stay. Firstly, there is no one at the property to meet you. You are sent a WhatsApp message on how to collect your keys. We booked a room with a mountain view. If I stood on my toes and looked out of the skylight, I could just about see a mountain. The property descriptions are very misleading. The room is very small with a small wheeled clothes rail. Please see photos. We were in room 2 at the top of the stairs. You could hear everybody coming and going as its very creaky. It's a small double bed and comfortable. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower. There was no shower gel except for one that looked like it had been left. Towels are provided. I booked this guesthouse through Hotels.com and asked for a breakfast. I assumed a full breakfast was provided. How wrong was I. There is a small galley kitchen where you help yourself to cereals, toast, bacon, beans, boiled egg, yoghurt and apple juice. You plate it up and eat it in your room. There is a small table and chairs provided. Personal, I found this unhygienic and your room smelt of bacon and beans. I WhatsApp the owner to air my concerns. These were dismissed and told it's breakfast on the go. I think it was breakfast on the cheap. I had seen photos of a dining room in the property. If there are 2 people in the kitchen, no one else can use it. There are parking spaces available. Given the option to stay here again. Definitely not.

Nice compact room, sadly no view, but comfortable, modern and clean.

Situated in a beautiful place, hills and cliffs and water all around us. Lovely gent to greet us with his loveable dog who just wants fussing. Room was great, there was some coffee stains down the side of the bed on the wall and the door was covered in what looked to be a wet dog shaking it self dry and it splashing the door. Overall great experience.

The room was great, very clean. All the "service" was done remotely, Pick up our own key, Hang up the key when one leaves, serve yourself breakfast. (it was a bit basic), The home made jam was excellent. The self service was not a major problem, but extra instructions/guidance would have prepared us as to what to expect. (little things such a local street map on the hotel website).

Clean tidy and well organised communication with the owners. Stayed on a business trip and rooms were clean and tidy, a takeaway breakfast was very welcome, owners could not have done anymore. Perfect for business use at a very reasonable price.

Room was clean and tidy but the waste bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied from the previous stay. We didn't see or speak to the owners, just kept receiving WhatsApp messages from them which was strangely disturbing! Parking became an issue as my husband didn't follow the WhatsApp instructions so we got told off by WhatsApp message. There wasn't any blinds in the bathroom window which meant at night, I felt awkward and exposed using the toilet and shower facilities. The breakfast was disppointing, no breakfast room and no fresh coffee available. The rolls were inedible, hard and dry, bacon either uncooked or nuked.

Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Pisgah Guesthouse which just what I needed for a weekend of exploration. The room was very comfortable, the whole property was clean to a very high standard and the hosts were good at communicating with guests. Also had a lovely self-service breakfast. Loved the skylights in the room, the en-suite bathroom and the generous tea/coffee options. Very hospitable. Would love to stay here again in the future. 🙂

Whilst I appreciate the practicality of sliced bread, please upgrade it from the cheapest white slided you can get. The coffee however, was the saving grace. Good, strong, cafetiere coffee, bonus points there! The Pisgah was fine for our needs but we wouldn't rush back. A word of warning re Blaenau...there are NO restaurants here, only take aways which you can take to the pub to eat or, alternatively, find a restaurant to have a meal in before returning to Blaenau Ffestiniog. On our first night we had takeaway, but on the second night we had a meal out in a fabulous Indian in Llanberis after climbing Snowdon.

The listing said mountain views but we were in a residential street and i had no views as my windows were opaque glass. The corridor outside creaked terribly and the soundproofing was si bad i could hear a man coughing and sneezing in the next room, even tnough my room had a small ensuite between. Also i could hear the owner downstairs talking on her mobile. She had it on speakerphone and I could hear the other person talking. The listing showed a breakfast room with a photo of a cooked breakfast but all it supplied was cereal and toasted sandwiches which had gone all soggy in a heated tray. This you collected from the landing area which looked like a cupboard at the top of another set of stairs and then had to eat in your room. One day they forgot to supply spoons for the cereal so i had to eat mine with a teaspoon from my room. Overall the property is tired and dismal. No face to face interaction wuth the owners and not good value for money. The listing needs to be updated to reflect no breakfast room or cooked breakfast and no mountain views.

Spot on. Compact room but intelligent use of space. Comfy bed, great shower. Quick convenient breakfast.

Usually you always get to meet the owners and be able to discuss any issues and to see a happy face in a guest house. This was not the case here as you never ever saw anyone but the odd other guest. The strangest guest house I have ever stayed in in that regard.

The hostess and staff were very friendly and the guest house was in area with beautiful scenery. Breakfast was well prepared and just as described,“”Grab and go“ “so that we could take it back to the table in our room. It was slightly further from Snowdon’s Llanberis trail than we had at first thought. We were given very up-to-date information by the host and provided with suggestions for Gastro pubs in the area which, were excellent recommendations. Very good value for money.

A small hotel in a small town. Nice and quiet and the town is quite nice. If your looking for peace and quiet during your trip you will find it here

We booked for proximity to Zipworld, the guest house is a little dated, walls are thin so beware! Breakfast was served from a cupboard, was expecting a fully cooked breakfast as advertised but there isn't even a dining room. That aside they did cater for allergies and gave decent Dinner recommendations. Views are amazing if you stick your head out of the skylight and the local town is a bit lack luster with most businesses closed down.

Had a lovely stay,local to the Snowdonia national park, would highly recommend, Exceptional 11/10.

We stayed here before climbing Snowdon the next day. Check in was contactless and made very easy. We didn’t stay for the breakfast offered as we left early in the morning. The location was convenient for visiting the National Park.

The picture of the B and B is misleading on the website. Its in the middle of a housing estate. Parking is very tight and Breakfast was not up to expected levels

Was what we needed regarding foom.. But village was very run down and couldn't find places to eat.

Ideal location to access the railway station, around 5 min walk. Breakfast was very good. Floors a it squeaky otherwise ideal for a stay where you are out all day.

Stayed here for many years, always good value Only issue is the breakfast was always good when it was in dining room and latterly out of the cupboard but this year it’s not great with strange tomato paste? toasted sandwich and small child’s yoghurt. Still good value accomodation but I would pay more for maybe a bacon/sausage/egg bap.

The hosts were anonymous and the tv unusable. The booklet re tv was totally incomprehensible. Clear instructions on how to use the two controllers and tune the tv would have been helpful. The room was fine and the help yourself breakfast exceeded my expectations.

We had a lovely room although small. Bed was small but really really comfortable. Really enjoyed the self serve breakfast and the warm filled baps were very good.
