Super Great Place (I was in #102) if you have a vehicle. It is located right in front of the entrance to Los Suenos. Herradura Beach is a 2 minute drive or 8 minute walk. There you will find restaurants / bars / charter boats & more. Los Suenos Marina / Restaurant area is about a 5 minute drive & a "must-see." Downtown Jaco is about a 15 minute drive. Rooms are super nice with a mini kitchen. Shower had tons of hot water & the water pressure was great. There is free Brit Coffee in the rooms & the breakfast is way above average. They have a full restaurant at night (Pepper's) which was super good and at a great price if compared to other hotels / restaurants nearby. Swimming pool was great and all the staff was top notch. You can book great tours at the front desk which you need to take advantage of on your vacation (Hint : Go to Tortuga Island). I did not use it but there is also a full spa. For the money & what this place offers it is almost impossible to beat....why pay a lot more & get way less. Stay here for your vacation and you will not be disappointed.

En realidad la propiedad es bonita , pero le falta mantenimiento a las instalaciones El jacussi no sirve en la piscina , los camastros están rotos y denotan falta de mantenimiento, el aire acondicionado del cuarto no sirve y gotea mucho , la ducha de lluvia a está taqueada y tira el agua a todo lado , ducha de piscina muy fea toda despintada y da mal aspecto

We found this place on the last day of our 9 day Costa Rica trip. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our last day in this beautiful country. The staff was accommodating, the massage was perfect, the swim up bar was fabulous (shout out to Brandon!), and the room was spacious, clean, and modern. There is an onsite restaurant and golf carts to drop you at the beach (but it’s only a few minutes away by foot). If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would!

A nice small hotel located near Herradura Beach(Not on the beach). The small pool was nice to be able to cool off in. You can walk to the beach in about 8 minutes or they will provide a ride. The onsite spa was excellent, as was the breakfast at the attached restaurant. (Peppers) Service and food at the restaurant was also very good.

The Paradise (newly remodeled) was an excellent choice for our mid-Feb stay. Hotel staff from reception to check-out were terrific 10+. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Interior and exterior were freshly painted. Pool was sparkling clean. Location was very convenient, only a block from the shopping plaza in one direction and the beach and Coco's in the other. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Food was very good and wait-staff very accommodating. If you're sport fishing and looking for lodging, this is the place.

This spot is a cute spot. Don't expect it to be a massive resort. It is a boutique hotel. I got the VIP upgrade which came with a $20 dining voucher but had to spend $50 for it to apply. The room was clean (but there was a dead insect after turnover one day). Room was decently big - had a kitchen area, fridge and microwave. This came in handy when they closed the one restaurant early for dinner due to low patronage. The hotel is close to the beach; takes about a 10 minute walk. Behind the hotel is a mini market if you want to buy beverages. Hotel is close to Jaco, about a 10-15 minutes Uber ride, so that's convenient. They had bikes but they were inoperable. But since the hotel isn't in Jaco, it is a quiet neighborhood. Would recommend if you're looking for a more relaxed environment.

We stayed four nights and were surprised that what is listed in hotel amenities is not at all accurate. It says memory foam beds, beds were hard as a rock and front desk says they have no memory foam beds. I ended up sleeping on the sofa away from my husband because the beds were so terrible. Amenities are also supposed to include in room safe, per the description. No in room safe, only a safe in the lobby. Doors were not locked by card, but by a code, which is fine…but I feel safer with a card, just preference. Room cleaning service came once over four days, just after the first night, so that was also a bummer. No live TV so New Year’s Day football games were missed. Rooms and lobby are STRONGLY scented. I had to find and remove the plug in scent device because it was overwhelming. Rain shower head didn’t function properly, small stream of water down the middle with a spattering of sprinkles. Also fluctuated between scalding hot and cold. The staff was super nice at check in, but nobody is there overnight (after 10pm) and property is totally dark. Room was big and bright, so that was nice. Restaurant staff was very nice as well.

Overall we had a nice experience and the staff was friendly. Photos are a bit generous as to the actual building conditions, as it could use a bit more of an update, but our accommodations were clean and functional for our stay. Great location to the beach.

Everything went more than great. We even extend the stay. The staff were super friendly. The premises were super clean, very spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and the welcome cocktail was a very nice surprise. Flor at the spa was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt great after the massage, I highly recommend. Overall was just the perfect place for our anniversary.

Property looked amazing in the pictures and the room and pool really was great! Updated and beautiful. Bathroom was not updated. Toilet had stains. Shower did not drain properly. Shower door did not close properly. They are working on renovating the property and we were the only guests staying at night so it was alittle spooky. Breakfast and service was amazing.

Pros: clean, newly renovated, nice pool, huge shower, nice staff Cons: terrible lighting, darkened window and not able to open. The only natural light in the room is leaving the door open = no privacy, bed and pillows on the hard side, sweet chemical smell in room will bother those with fragrance allergies.

Nice hotel overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food. The mattress was hard as a board. We only stayed two nights, but it messed up my neck and my husband's back. You can't hear people in the adjoining rooms, but you hear people in the pool or the loud music when there's entertainment.

Everyone is very nice. They sent me a shuttle from the airport last minute because my rental car agency was no good. I was able to walk to the beach and Uber to Jacó and the Carara National Park easily. The pool and swim up bar were nice and the rooms seemed almost brand new. Thank you for a lovely week!

Long story short! - this place is AMAZING through and through. We had plans to go to Tortuga Island but lost hope when we noticed that everything was booked for the next few days. Steven and Lindsey at reception somehow made it happen! We were super excited because my friend was planning on proposing to his girlfriend there. I mentioned this fact to Steven and Lindsey and they went out of their way to decorate their room with flowers and a personalized card! They were the absolute sweetest!! My friends were beyond surprised when they got back to their hotel room. We also received outstanding service from Edwin at the restaurant/pool area. I also wanted to shout out the chef - the food was delicious and quite honestly the best food our group had in all of Costa Rica. Truthfully we had one of the best and most memorable experiences in this hotel.

Five months later, and we are still waiting for the hotel to refund the double payment. Booked and paid via hotels.com - but upon arrival the hotel could not see this in their system and forced us to pay directly to them also. Did not have other options than doing this - but assumed they would refund once their error was clear. Many e-mails later and we are still waiting

Room was clean and hotel staff was nice but the breakfast place staff was rude and didn’t serve us for fifteen minutes until I signaled that we were leaving if we didn’t get menu. This was despite the fact that it wasn’t busy, Our cold dark eggs came 40 minutes later . We are angry and disappointed

The Paradise (newly remodeled) was an excellent choice for our mid-Feb stay. Hotel staff from reception to check-out were terrific 10+. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Interior and exterior were freshly painted. Pool was sparkling clean. Location was very convenient, only a block from the shopping plaza in one direction and the beach and Coco's in the other. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Food was very good and wait-staff very accommodating. If you're sport fishing and looking for lodging, this is the place.

SO NICE!!! We mentioned in passing while we were checking in that we would not be able to enjoy the free breakfast because we had to leave for our flight at 2:30am, and she INSISTED that a staff member bring it to our door to go!!! And then the security guard helped us pack the car at 3:00am!! Amazing service, adorable, clean, and modern rooms, love the key pad instead of the physical key, love the pool and swim up bar!! WOULD STAY AGAIN!!!:)))

They over booked the Hotel, and sent us to another Hotel, however the Hotel they sent us was horrible. The room was old, the bed was above some sort of old unused jacuzzi, the fridge was dirty and the bathroom was outside the room. There was no elevator to get to the room and the balcony windows had no security so it was unsecured. We called Paradise Bay to request for the refund as we didn't sleep on the Hotel (we booked another Hotel that same night) and they told us that the refund was not a possibility. And that we had to escalate the case to Expedia. So we did it. Today we received the confirmation from Expedia that Paradise Bay was not going to proceed with the refund. It is a shame that Hotels like Paradise Bay over books rooms to move people to others Hotels. And even worst that the Hotel to which you will be moved is in such bad conditions.

The staff was very friendly! The room was clean, However it had a terrible shower which was either too hot or too cold- no in between. I asked for it to be repaired 4 times and they did nothing!! Also, the tv was terrible! It would work very intermittently and shut down after 5 minutes constantly!! I also asked have this looked into numerous times to no avail. I would never stay there again

The rooms were nice, the service was great, and the restaurant was delicious. It was also easy to get around and there was plenty of parking. Herradura beach is nearby, but it’s not the most beautiful beach in the area. I’d rather visit other beaches. Overall, it was a good experience if you’re looking for a getaway. It’s perfect for couples and families.

Everything went more than great. We even extend the stay. The staff were super friendly. The premises were super clean, very spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and the welcome cocktail was a very nice surprise. Flor at the spa was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt great after the massage, I highly recommend. Overall was just the perfect place for our anniversary.

The room was clean (but there was a dead insect after turnover one day). Room was decently big - had a kitchen area, fridge and microwave. This came in handy when they closed the one restaurant early for dinner due to low patronage. The hotel is close to the beach; takes about a 10 minute walk. Behind the hotel is a mini market if you want to buy beverages. Hotel is close to Jaco, about a 10-15 minutes Uber ride, so that's convenient. They had bikes but they were inoperable. But since the hotel isn't in Jaco, it is a quiet neighborhood. Would recommend if you're looking for a more relaxed environment.

The room was spotless and had everything we needed - by far the best hotel we stayed at in CR (and there were many). The location is great if you're on foot - just a few mins walk to the beach, to some restaurants, and liquor/convenience stores. Even though there was a list of included breakfast options, the kitchen was able to accommodate my friend who is gluten intolerant and myself who is vegan. I would absolutely stay here again!

Personal atento, habitaciones limpias y espaciosas, el desayuno incluido espectacular… lo malo, se escucha el ruido de la calle y además la gente del hotel y huéspedes se sentaban a hablar frente a nuestra habitación desde las 6am lo que nos obligaba a despertarnos bien temprano… tal vez si instalan letreros de Haga silencio, respete el descanso de los huéspedes… sería maravilloso! , lo otro fue que un día regresamos a la habitación y la habitación estaba con la puerta abierta, seguro el personal de limpieza olvidó cerrar la puerta, afortunadamente nada se nos perdió.
