Hampton Inn & Suites Sandusky/Milan

Our room was clean, bed comfortable. Pillows were small. I booked this hotel with the idea to swim and relax in the hot tub, both of which were closed due to construction. Both were full of water with absolutely no construction going on. Breakfast was less than the usual subpar hotel food. Staff friendly and kind.

Thank God they’re remodeling this place. The couch and the bed looked like something from the Salvation Army and felt worse! The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, and we had to drive 6 miles to find a restaurant.

The room and the staff were excellent. Unfortunately the hotel is across the street from a plant that makes roofing shingles and smells like tar. It is a super convenient location and great facility, but it smells bad.

Specifically, Morgan and Melanie were incredible and pleasant to speak with. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.
