I don't consider myself hard to please, however when there is water left in the ice bucket, coffee grounds in the coffee maker, coffee in the coffee pot, and a ring around the toilet, I have an issue. I found it quite ironic that the tip envelope was left leaning up against the ice bucket that contained water from the previous occupant. The walls are very thin - not the cause of the staff but a consideration. There was a nice little area for each room, with chairs and an umbrella for sitting outside to enjoy a cocktail or coffee. I'm not sure how anyone else was able to rate this highly. Perhaps we visited on a bad day, but based on my experience I could not recommend this motel. Could be so much more.

We had a broken lamp and a refrigerator that froze all our food, but we were there for only one night, so it was OK. Grounds for our dog were pretty good, but lots of previous guests had not picked up after their pets. :-(

This was a nice clean room. It is an old establishment and the decor is nice. However things were rather scant. There was no toilet paper in the room. No bathmat. It was a suite with kitchenette but no silverware or dishes. Cupboards were aplenty but totally empty. There was a plastic silverware bag in one drawer but it was empty. If I stay here again I will ask for these things to be in the room. When we arrived they had gotten a foot of heavy snow the day before and I had to ask to have a path shoveled to our room.

The decor inside the room was GREAT. Room was clean. Single room had lots of space - very nice. Negatives were that the room smelled a little like cigarette smoke and the ice machine wasn't working.

Conveniently located for a night’s stay after exploring Crater Lake National Park. Room was uniquely decorated in a country style. EV charger for our car was a huge plus. Staff was friendly. Parking was convenient.

Front desk attendant was very pleasant when checking in. Ample parking available. Room was dirty. Carpet had many stains and not vacuumed well. Couch had stains on the seated area. Bathroom was dirty and there was a hole in the wall under the sink. Rodents could get in easily. Lamp attached to the wall was not plugged in nor was the cord long enough to reach the outlet. Sitting chair by the table was very wobbly. Will not stay again.

I couldn't place the smell exactly, but it was a bit sticky and a bit sweet....maybe remnants of tobacco and pet odors? The air conditioner roared all night, which partially drowned out the noisy neighbors, and the room had a functional refrigerator/microwave/coffeemaker for the morning. We picked the place for its north-side access to Crater Lake and its EV charger ($10!); it did the job.

Nice comfortable place at reasonable price. We were in town for the music festival in DeSchutes which meant prices within a hundred + miles were high, but this was affordable and just over an hour drive. Great dining options nearby and we really enjoyed the woodsman theme. Friendly staff. Only wish is to repave the parking lot for smoother transport for folks in a wheelchair. But otherwise great place. Would visit again for sure and stay longer.

Woodsman Country Lodge was an older 1-story motel on the busy highway between Klamath Falls and Bend. It was fine for a reasonable, overnight stay getting from here to there. If one likes hunting and the outofdoors you would love these Paul Bunyan-themed rooms. Very quaint and woodsy. But the rooms were clean, the linens fresh and the bed comfortable. There was a reasonably priced restaurant/tavern right next door. Despite the immense amount of traffic spinning by the front of the motel, the room itself was quiet, and we had a comfortable night's sleep.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, especially considering the affordable price. The bed was comfortable, and the spaciousness, along with the indoor hot tub, added to our experience. It would have been even better if there were a toaster and an electric kettle available, as the lack of a stove made it a bit challenging for meal preparations. We also noticed that there was only one small coffee stand in town, which limited our options as vegans. However, there were a couple of cleanliness issues that we encountered. We found balls of long hair under the comforter, and the top sheet had an obvious stain. Addressing these concerns would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

My wife and I unexpectedly stumbled across this little gem after a last minute booking whilst attempting to camp at Crescent Lake. Conditions there weren’t too hospitable, so we booked this room to escape the mosquitos. We stayed in room 16 on the end which had a king sized bed, an in room hot tub, and a nice kitchenette. The room decor was nicely done, with an outdoors country style theme. Had a unique log bed frame and matching furniture. Great detail and very comfortable. So glad we got to enjoy this plush little room. We would not only recommend for the price and amenities, but we will most definitely consider booking this room once again in the future.

I was on the road looking for a place to stay on the inexpensive side. I was so happy I ran into this hotel. It’s a little dated as the TV is the old-school kind. But this customer service cleanliness and atmosphere well made up for it. Across the street is a very good place to eat. Called Bigfoot. Don’t pass it up.

Uralte Einrichtung, es gab sogar noch einen Röhren-TV. Das WLan war nur begrenzt am frühen Abend verfügbar. Leider schlecht schallisoliert, durch die Tür hat man den Verkehr gehört.

Clerk wasn't there when we arrived. I pressed the ring button and got a recording that it would be a few minutes. I waited and then called a number listed and was told the clerk was taking an employee home and would be back in about 45 minutes. Fortunately he returned in about 10 minutes. The bed linens were worn. There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor, one small bar of soap and no floor bath mat.

Our rooms decor was really cute with a deer theme. There were some issues with the heater, but the manager came immediately upon our call to fix the issue. This was our 3rd stay at the Woodsman and we loved it each time. We plan to stay there again when we come to the area.

Check in was suppose to be at 2 pm. I showed up around 2:15 and the staff was just getting there to start cleaning the rooms. If check in is available at 2 maybe they should have started cleaning rooms at 10. They had some technical issues with the internet being out which was completely out of their control, thanks Starlink. All in all it was a nice stay but they need to have rooms available at check in.

Woodsman Country Lodge was an older 1-story motel on the busy highway between Klamath Falls and Bend. It was fine for a reasonable, overnight stay getting from here to there. If one likes hunting and the outofdoors you would love these Paul Bunyan-themed rooms. Very quaint and woodsy. But the rooms were clean, the linens fresh and the bed comfortable. There was a reasonably priced restaurant/tavern right next door. Despite the immense amount of traffic spinning by the front of the motel, the room itself was quiet, and we had a comfortable night's sleep.

We stayed here on our way to Crater Lake National Park. The Woodsman Country Lodge was wonderful, very cozy and friendly. Quirky, definitely not like your cutout hotel chain experience. We loved it. Cute small country town, next to a locals hang out tavern, was inviting and humble.

Nice comfortable place at reasonable price. We were in town for the music festival in DeSchutes which meant prices within a hundred + miles were high, but this was affordable and just over an hour drive. Great dining options nearby and we really enjoyed the woodsman theme. Friendly staff. Only wish is to repave the parking lot for smoother transport for folks in a wheelchair. But otherwise great place. Would visit again for sure and stay longer.

We enjoyed the patio area with chairs just outside our room. The restaurant nextdoor was unique with great food. Would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area.

I was on the road looking for a place to stay on the inexpensive side. I was so happy I ran into this hotel. It’s a little dated as the TV is the old-school kind. But this customer service cleanliness and atmosphere well made up for it. Across the street is a very good place to eat. Called Bigfoot. Don’t pass it up.

The room was a bit dated but very comfortable. The staff was considerate, helpful and welcoming. The neighboring Mohawk Diner served excellent food with the best drink prices we encountered throughout our Oregon/Washington road trip. Plus the nightly rate in these days is perfect, especially if you’re traveling with a pet.

The place was adorable! The lady at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. We didn't need our room cleaned but the lady cleaning the other rooms checked with us to make sure we didn't need anything. (Some places you have to find someone and they act like it's a problem to give you another towel)
