Urban Boutique Hotel Center

I loved everything about this hotel—from the delicious breakfast and incredibly helpful staff to the fantastic location and beautiful, modern, and spotless rooms. Everything was thoughtfully done, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would happily stay here again!

Perfect stay. Great breakfast too.

I completed the online check in several days before arrival and checked the box for the shuttle service from the airport. I heard nothing. I received a call as I was boarding my flight and was told they had no record of the shuttle request. They then said they found it and was I on the easyJet flight- I was not. They agreed begrudgingly to the shuttle service and we took off. I received a message and we were met by a taxi driver on arrival. When we got to the hotel he asked if I was paying him or the hotel. I gave him a tip and said the hotel had sorted it out. I was greeted in the hotel by the most rude person I have ever come across in the hospitality industry. I have travelled the world extensively and never come across anything like this. No welcome, He immediately demanded money for the taxi and when I said I thought it was a hotel shuttle service he became rude, very sarcastic and aggressive towards me demanding money and laughing at me that I thought it was included. I tried to explain that everywhere else SHUTTLE SERVICE means a minibus back and forth to the airport. He demanded proof from me however the online check in form is one where once the link to the form is used, it can no longer be accessed.I suspect he had been challenged befor I paid E40 for the taxi as it was late, I was in a foreign country and the receptionist was truly vile in their behaviour. Welcome to Slovenia! Everything else was great, the rest of the staff, the room, the location, the breakfast.
