We only stayed one night at the Wooden Bridge but really enjoyed our stay! It is in the middle of the woods and very quiet. There were a couple of options for dinner and I highly recommend the smokehouse!!!! We had a great meal and a great time in the bar with live music later that evening.

Amazing stay! Our room had a wonderful view and a glass door that opened to the balcony. All amenities were on the property with a gorgeous golf course next door. Staff were so kind and accommodating. Parking was very good! The bar had a great selection and a fun place to hang out and have a drink. The dinner menu options were amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ireland!

Restaurant was very busy and as a result very slow. A couple of drinks orders were missed and had to be reordered. Food was good. Rooms very spacious and in decent condition. Unfortunately my room was directly above where the band were playing and was a little noisy. 30 minute walk down to Avoca so the rural location is not such a problem.

Beautiful location, quiet but easy to get to. Very clean and spacious rooms with a good view. Very friendly and helpful staff and the food at the hotel was excellent, reasonable price and plenty for your money, Travelled by motorcycle and found parking safe and secure. Perfect location for exploring Wicklow and further south east coast.

Billed as the oldest hotel in Ireland (est. 1608), the property does not reflect its age. It is in good shape, conveniently located, with nice facilities and a nice staff. The pub had live music and a rollicking scene on a Monday night. I’d stay there again.

We had a fantastic weekend with you The lodge was quiet and pleasant. The hotel was busy both evenings with a wedding and after(hurling?) match but bar and waiting staff were coping admirably and had time for us. The food both evening and breakfast were first class. Quick and easy check-in. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We were given an upgraded room along with a beautiful fruit and chocolate brownie plater because it was a birthday get away - so very much appreciated 😊 Room was beautiful, spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the golf course and Vale of Avoca. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and had a wide window of timings, so if you fancied a longer lay in, it wasnt a problem. We had dinner in the Bistro restaurant both nights and couldn't fault it. There was entertainment both evenings. Will definately visit again

Had a basic room. Beds were comfortable, but everything else needs renovation, in particular, the bathroom, paper products were low but no additional ones given. Requested a room with view of golf course but had room facing the parking. The blackout curtains were too short and let in the light. No sheer curtain for privacy so had the curtains drawn all day.

We had to move to a different room on our second night as our original room was over the bar and there was noise until 1.30 that night. Location is beautiful. Unfortunately our room was a little tired and very noisy as it faced on to the picnic tables and smoking area where other guests gathered. It was also in very close proximity to the bar where early morning cleaning/setup woke us very early. I’m sure if our room was more modern and located at the back of the hotel our experience would have been better.
