The hotel is not in the best part of town, however, plenty of light and security cameras. There's absolutely no thrills. There is, however, free waffle breakfast in the morning. We arrived at 8 pm. The lady at the desk was really nice. We got talking and she only charged me for the 2 dogs ($10 per dog x 2). She corrected several moments later. The room was ok. Had a floor. 4 walls. A roof over our head. A nice heater. Bed was amazing! Big king size. The shower was fantastic-very hot and very wet. All in all, of you're looking for a place to lay your head after driving for 10 hours pulling a trailer and having 2 dogs with you, this is the place. Only ONE downside and it's not the hotels fault...train comes thru about every 3 hours blowing it's horn. After the second time, tho, we weren't effected.

Easy access of highway. Very friendly customer service. Easy/fast checkin/checkout. Room was clean, comfortable bed/pillows.Flooring was vinyl verses carpet, which was clean and there were no bad smells. Shower was wonderful, e specially hot water and good stream of water. Accepted our 2 bichons small dogs for $10 charge per pet. Desk clerk suggested to Mexican places to eat. We ate at Chico’s, excellent authentic Mexican food. Family owned business.

Americas Best Value Inn in Santa Rosa, NM, was a safe and quiet place to stay. The accommodations are not grand or fancy, but the hotel is clean and comes at a very good price. The Inn has washers and dryers if you need them. The room amenities were nice; again, nothing fancy, but everything was in good working order and as an added bonus, there were a LOT of electrical outlets.

Unfortunately I arrived late at night, too tired and too late to address any concerns. The room had a strong unpleasant odour and the AC unit was so loud, bedsheets were not clean, pretty sure the bed had been used, even the pillow had a used odour. It was impossible to get comfortable or get a good nights sleep. I couldn’t wait to get out.

It was clean in some parts but I did notice a couple of roaches in the room and bathroom and that was on my first night there before I brought any food or drinks. Besides that the staff were really nice and welcoming and parking was easy to navigate, and they respected my no room service option .

The room really didn't meet the standard I'm use to. I asked for a clean fitted sheet and someone came right away. But when I took the sheet off that had stains on it, the mattress pad under it was even worst. It was late and I was tired. I just wanted to sleep. However, they were very nice and helpful. I could tell he was embarrassed by the condition of the bed. It was all over his face. I left the next morning, but came back to look for my phone charger; and the entire bed had been stripped. He told me he didn't see my charger when he stripped the bed. I'm sure they'll do better.

I honestly feel a little bad about the low rating, but the room was dirty (mostly the walls annd floor) and the inn was so close to the railroad tracks that there was loud noise all night. The town was deserted and not many dining places. The 24 hour front desk staff was super friendly, and that was the best part of staying here.

Nice lady who checked me in. But the room smelled really strong of urine and cleaning products. Hole cut in the shower wall where a repair was made. A/C and heating unit was loud and didn’t work well. This obviously was a cheap room but I’ve paid less money for better and cleaner rooms.

At the last minute we changed our plans. I looked at the picture and had no problem. Pic of the inside was nice. The floor however was lumpy to walk over due to it covering wood floors underneath. The a.c. was not what we expected and the noise from it kept us up.

This place is not somewhere you want to stay. Door to my room was open when i got there, letting in many flies. No mention was made to me that they had recently cleaned the carpet. Found out later that my socks, shoes and jeans were all wet. They never should have rented this room to me. Also, all night long a train track right next to this inn had trains coming and going blowing a loud whistle. Impossible to get a good nights sleep. Stay completely away from this property.

When I made the reservation I called the hotel after to let them know I would be in very late or early in the morning and they said that was fine that Somebody was there 24 hours at the desk, but when I arrived there in the middle of the night, after driving hours in the desert, they cancelled my room and given it to someone else and their motel was full. I was so upset. I called motel 6 and they said they had a room at another hotel, but that I couldn’t check in until 3 pm and I had to leave by 11 am. It was awful.

The hotel was resonably price, clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. However, the paint job of the bathroom was horrible. Breakfast was not desirable. Staff was pleasant and helpful!

The hotel is economical as well as very clean. The only issue is it is located in a very remote area near the highway. I will definitely consider this one if I go through that route again
