They provide beach chairs in the room. They also provide transportation services to/from the beach from/to hotel. Loved the sunset and sunrise and quiet place.

Location, location, location!! Pool and beach access. Great location and premises!

The views were beautiful and theres a great walking trail on site.

It was a short 2 night family vacation and Seascape turned out to be the perfect choice. The location is 10/10, beautiful ocean views, access to three pools, and foliage filled trails to explore. The beach is a short walk down but the golf cart service for drop off and pickup is awesome. All in all a great place to stay.

Anything on the property is up charge like even reservation for dinner. Not enough facilities for the qmount of people

Loved the pool area & golf cart assistance to the beach. Beach fires to go was super fun, beautiful & easy! Seascape did all the work… we just had to enjoy!

We have been to Seascape many times. It has beautiful views and is in a wonderful location! The staff were very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our ocean views immensely! The only reason I didn’t give a higher review was an elevator that was broken during our stay. We were on the 3rd floor and hoofing it with our luggage etc was not a good time! We also notes areas in the place that were thick with dust where they had not been cleaned. The left door on closet was not working.

The amenities on property were not at par with the charges they are charging customer per night. They should focus more on cleanliness and service. Like no hand soap was their. Shampoo bottle was empty. Elevators were not working 80% of the time.

Love the beach access and that it wasn’t too crowded even on the 4th of July. The pools and hot tubs were nice. Enjoyed Sanderlings restaurant and the fireplace in the main lobby.

The unit was very clean it was just the ants in all the rooms that were annoying. We had a great time and the view was amazing.

The room was not clean - There was a giant half moon size toenail on the bed. Floor was not sweep thoroughy. The sofa was dirty, especially the foot pull out. No info given about the beach umbrella and chairs, fire pit. Apparently you need to make all the arrangements beforehand. Service personnel's level was mixed - some nice/cordial, some nasty.

One night we asked for a pickup from our room to the beach and was a no show so we cancelled. We also requested a room clean the day before like instructed but came back to the room with no service. Beautiful resort and friendly staff but there were some shortcomings. Likely won't return based on the value.

Carpet in living room was very dirty as if it had not been vacuumed from the last guest. It looked like broken chips. Could not let my 8 month old son crawl around because I was afraid he would inhale it. Bed in master did not have fitted sheet on the mattress, it was a top sheet tucked in.

We stayed in the two bedroom villas, and it was an unpleasant experience….dirty showerheads (literally mold on them), ant infestation (one of the bathrooms had ant bait traps and weird residue sprayed everywhere). Place did not feel clean whatsoever.

Hotel is outdated, old, not well maintain. Bathroom is really small, even one person needs to think ahead about his route, since towels are kept in a restroom and there is no way to get there when bathroom screen door is open. Room was extremely dirty- thick layers of dust covering furniture, blinds- seems like the room wasn't cleaned properly in years. Room service available on request only. NO AC- AC works on heat only, fan covered in dust is available in the room. Beautiful view from the balcony, nice beach, ok food.

The property was very nice. I loved the walking trails and the views of the ocean. The golf carts to and from the beach were very much appreciated. It was great to have the use of the sports club. My family enjoyed playing tennis there. The room was spacious and I loved all the amenities. My only complaint was that it was quite dusty in the bed room and living room.

Stayed in a spa studio partial ocean room. Broken screen door, unclean floors, lights that didn’t work, etc. Room was dark and dreary, felt like it hadn’t been updated in a couple decades. Grounds were nice, location was pretty. Called for a cart ride to beach that never showed. Will not stay again.

Super friendly staff. Child running upstairs all morning was the only downside. Get an upstairs place!

Clean room and very roomy with 2 bedrooms. Service was good. Only complaint was “beach view” was obstructed.

After having a decent dinner we visited the spa. We were kicked out a few minutes before 10 pm which is what time they closed. We get back to our room and our television doesn't work. A guy came up and tried to make it work but it didn't and he said well youre out of luck because I'm not a maintenance guy. Then the next morning starting at 6 am the guy next to us was on a conference call and seemed to be yelling at the phone for at least 2 hours but was only talking because the walls are so thin. Overall did not have a good experience here.

First off I booked a partial ocean view room in which unpaid extra for. My view was a dirt lot. My wife and I were woken up at 7am by loud drilling, construction trucks, large truck reverse back up beeping, hammering which went in for several hours. I reached out and they told me it was out of their control. We then get out of bed to find ants all over the counter in the room. Overall the property was pretty and the facilities were nice. Just dissapointed I paid almost $700 a night to look at a dirt lot with absolutely no ocean view whatsoever. Be aware that if you book partial ocean view, it means no ocean view at this place.

Wonderful resort. Great location and facilities. Amazing ocean view. Spacious rooms. Highly recommend.

Ocean view, no air conditioner was very warm on 3rd floor.

We stayed in a gorgeous two bedroom two-story condo with two balconies and a view of the ocean. The condo had a full kitchen, living room three bathrooms and all the amenities. We had a wonderful time, and plan on making this a yearly tradition.

This place was incredible. We were so pleased with the Layout of the room, the 2 balconies and 3 bathrooms. The view was gorgeous and the beach was all ours. Definitely recommend! We had a king bed for us, 9 yr old had her own room, 13 yr old had the entire main floor using the pull out couch.

Enjoyed breakfast and dinners looking out at the ocean. I loved that you can walk down to a private beach or shuttle down. The furniture in the room was a little dated. Small tvs in bedroom and living room area (maybe a 40"). Curtain to patio was torn and patio doors was a little hard to open and close. Towels in the bathroom need to retire. Other then that, had a perfect view of ocean. Very quiet and beautiful. You could hear the waves crashing from the patio. Very relaxing.

I stayed at this property for three nights, while the location is great, I am not going back. No house keeping done during my whole stay,. I called them one of the days to request one.Nothing. The soap despenser was empty when we checked in, obviously no QA was done after the room was set up for us. I expect basic stuff like this done right when you charge that kind of money.

We had high expectations but unfortunately our stay fell short due to several service issues, especially for a resort of this caliber. Positives: *The resort grounds are stunning and well-maintained. *Staff at the bonfire were friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort. *Limited amenities around resort and things close early Negatives: *Check-in Delay: We arrived at 4:35 pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 5:10 pm. No efforts were made to make up for the delay, only a “sorry we’ll text you”. *Shuttle Confusion: The shuttle for the bonfire was late, arriving at 7:15 pm instead of 7:00 pm, and we had to follow up to inquire. *Lost Item / Lack of Follow-Up: The most frustrating part of our stay came after we checked out. We accidentally left a shopping bag containing personal gifts in our room. After realizing our mistake within 90 minutes of checkout, I reached out multiple times via text and phone calls, but communication was poor. No one answered at housekeeping or lost and found, and when I did get a response it felt like no one was truly following up. After several hours, I finally spoke with at the front desk, but after checking we were told nothing had been found. It was abrupt and left us feeling like our concerns weren’t prioritized. I reached out to the General Manager directly to express my concerns but never received a response. I feel that for a resort of this caliber more attention to customer service & better communication would go a long way.

Beautiful resort! Probably the best views in the bay area. But, the rooms are a bit dated and the service was lacking. House keeping is by request only and we weren't told that when we checked in. Even after requesting it, the room was only cleaned 2 out of the 4 times we asked. There is a restaurant at the resort as well, so we ordered room service for dinner one evening. $90 for an overcooked burger with no toppings, and a warm Caesar salad. The mini fridge in the room also wasn't working correctly, so everything we had in there froze, even on the lowest cool setting. Problems aside this resort is very beautiful and the staff is very friendly! Will return to stay again, just won't order room service or rely on housekeeping as much.

Couldn’t get into our room for 30 minutes after arriving even though check in was an hour before we arrived. The bathroom was dirty and although we said 4 people staying with us there were not enough towels.

When we first checked in we went to our room and there was a miscommunication with housekeeping and the room was in fact not ready or clean. We were credited, and loved to a better location actually which was nice. However, we didn’t realize the units are all totally different. Our first unit was totally renovated and a nicer layout with the bedrooms on the same floor. The second unit was a nicer location/view but not renovated at all. The bathrooms were dark and dingy, the dishwasher couldn’t open without slamming into a cabinet handle. The washer unit where you put the soap couldn’t open further than a couple of inches because of running into the fridge. The window sill in the downstairs of our unit was completely falling off, one of the shades for the windows was inoperable(no cord). Next time we will just make sure we push for a renovated unit. Otherwise, the resort is beautiful, the restaurant and service were amazing.

The staff here is wonderful. It was a special trip for our family after a tough year and we went to celebrate with an ocean view room. They had some circumstances causing them to need to change our room and they ended up upgrading us to a larger ocean view room. We were so grateful for this time as a family and we appreciated everything the staff did to make sure our time there was special.

Needing a few days to reset and re energize. Seascape was the perfect location. Beauty of grounds with a lovely walk to thr beach. It was very peaceful. Staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant food was delicious. Fun bar to watch some games. I loved my stay and highly recommend it, ill be back!

It was our 2nd time back and we had such a great time the first year so we expected the same. We had a few disappointments this time though. We stayed for two days this time instead of the one and felt like we received less service. We didn't realize we had to ask for the room to be cleaned and then when we asked for extra towels and toilet paper we had to call three times during the day before finally receiving them at night. We went for Mother's Day and last year they had a bunch of cool events including one for the kids. We were expecting something like that again but they had less events and none were kid friendly, so that was disappointing as well. We also had the Mother's Day brunch this time at 2pm instead of earlier and it was not great. The food was not fresh and the clam chowder was cold and I had to ask for a bowl for it because they were not replenished. Our server did not bring us utensils until I asked twice and I had to ask for a high chair twice as well. The service was really lacking. We love the area and will probably be back, but I hope the experience is better next time with the service and staff.

The location was spectacular.

The beachfront location is fantastic, offering a great spot to relax and enjoy the ocean. The property is also very safe for children, making it an excellent choice for families. However, it is a bit removed from restaurants and shopping areas. While the carpets in both of the units we stayed in could use some attention, the units themselves were comfortable and well-maintained.

Great location, very nice place for families and couples. Resort has a restaurant and there is a few options in the area. About 12 miles from Santa Cruz (30 min drive). Be aware of the weather, sometimes gets foggy.

Great restaurant at Sanderlings. Awesome beach, clean room and helpful staff. The grocery store in the village is a total rip off though.

The restaurant was excellent!

We ate at the the restaurant located inside the hotel for dinner on friday night, we sat down at 7:00pm and didn’t even get our drinks until 7:45 and two plates of calamari until 8:10. I asked that same night at 5 pm for extra towels and blankets to the room.. never got them.. asked again at 8… never got them.. had my husband call the front desk and let them know how frustrated we were at 9:15 pm and we finally received towels at 9:40. This is after we all used our wet towels from earlier in the day to dry off. For as much as we paid to stay here I expected a better experience. We will never eat at sanderlings again we explained how frustrated we were to sit for 45 minutes without drinks and we didn’t even get comped for the drinks, just a disappointing experience for the money we spent to be there.

I came here for a family memorial held in the area. We had to drive 6 hours from our home. I was denied an early check in even after I tried to pay for it. I could understand if they were full but at 65% occupancy it would have been nice to change and freshen up. The fireplace did not work, or the light in the make-up mirror. Good things were the restaurant was amazing and the beds were great. Wish they had guest coffee in lobby.

We were with a large group of 5-6 different families and were turned away from eating at the in-hotel restaurant for dinner one night, even though the restaurant was not crowded. They lost a lot of money that night. I was also saddened to see the free coffee/tea station was taken away, and the in-room robes were also taken away. I am unsure why the hotel has made these budget cuts here because they are such nice amenities for guests. Positively the property was as beautiful as ever. The golf cart staff was great about picking us up and dropping us off at the beach and were very friendly. The front desk was also great about providing extra blankets and pillows when we needed them.

Room was ok, both the shower and the toilet broke while we were there - they fixed them both reasonably promptly. Restaurant has decent food but is very slow. For the money we expected a lot more. Beach is nice.

Dinning option on site was terrible. The food was terrible, the service was terrible and it seemed like no one cared that so many were unhappy, not to mention they ruined several mother’s day celebrations for moms.
