This stay was the nicest of our multi day journey through three countries. The property, amenities and rooms are exquisite! We walked, ate, rode bikes, enjoyed the gardens... all was perfect. A lovely spot that you will not be sorry that you found!!!

This property is just so wonderful! Every single staff member is eager to help you. They greet you when you first drive up, have easily accessible parking as well as valet for those that need it. Incredibly comfortable beds that you can sink into after a long day of exploring. The rooms and entire estate are decorated immaculately and with great taste. Just gorgeous. We also had dinner on property. The hound did not disappoint. I had the steak with the peppercorn sauce and it is a must try! We also had breakfast the next morning which was included with your stay and it was a wonderful buffet with lots to choose from! This estate is absolutely the most affordable stay we had for the money and was one of the highlights of our stay here in Ireland! 🇮🇪Thank you so much!

As soon as we arrived, David was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our check-in and check-out processes and support were quick and easy. When we checked-in, they helped us make reservations for dinner right away. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed riding the bikes on the grounds and having a drink at the bar.

i liked the hotel staff so helpful and friendly. i liked the hotel decor , the poil , the walks and cycle and the cinema was a lovely treat. Very relaxing stay , breakfast was so good and the dinner in Jacks was delicious. there was nothing i didn't like

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous setting. It is some way from Kilkenny and you would need a car or taxi to get there. Not really a problem, as the excellent concierge team could quickly arrange one for you. The glass blowing studio at the end of the drive is definitely worth a visit, as is the adjoining shop. Horse riding was great, as were the gym and spa. Food at The Hound was excellent

Great views, excellent service from checkin to checkout. Beautiful food in the restaurant and the welcome drink / checking was very nice. Jacuzzi and sauna were not working within the leisure centre which was disappointing.

Fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. All the hotel staff were very professional and friendly especially Oscar at reception who assisted with our requests and made our stay the most memorable. The room was comfortabl, clean with nice BVLGARI products in our deluxe room with open doors onto the courtyard. The grounds are lovwly to walk around. My husband enjoyed playing on the well maintained 18 hole golf course. The pool and sauna area was relaxing. Breakfast was really good woth a fantastic selection including gluten free pastries and lovely fresh orange jucie. The dinner in Lady Helen at the Manor house was well worth the experience and we really enjoyed the infusion of flavours from the tasting menu accomapnied by the wine at each course. The staff were so knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine pairings. It was a memorable dinner journey. We will be back! Thank you

The entrance, driveway and first impressions of the hotel were excellent. We were not informed that we were staying at the hunters yard and therefore follow the signs to the Manor. Our room which had two queen beds only had one chair. The room and bathroom smelt of damp. The hound restaurant was extremely noisy and the food at best average for the price charged. I have to say that Mount Juliet was a disappointing conclusion to our holiday, when compared with the other five star resorts at which we stayed during our tour of Ireland.

Beyond clean and comfortable. Bed was outstanding. Service impeccable. Beautiful grounds. Had high tea in the Manor House and it felt like you were in a class 19th century Irish setting. Absolutely lovely!

Mount Juliet was lovely at Christmas, and got us into the festive spirit. The decorations were amazing, the staff were so friendly and service across the board was excellent. Our room was massive and cosy, super quiet and with a comfy bed. I would say they could improve upkeep slightly (stained carpets, and details like that). The major’s bar was nice, but not as cosy as we were hoping for. Overall, though, it was great for a romantic and relaxing overnighter.

Wonderful property and experiences! Well-maintained and clean. Courteous and professional staff. The Hound was a pleasant setting with excellent food. We enjoyed our first stay at Mount Juliet and decided to modify our trip itinerary in order to return for the remainder of our time in Ireland. Highly recommend!

Everything about this property was perfection. I wish our trip had been oriented differently to spend more than one night here. We began actually looking for imperfections; a scuff in the paint, a chip in the tile - nothing. Incredible amounts of attention have been paid to this property and it shows. The staff was friendly and professional and went out of their way to show us around. Everyone was kind and helpful and every second of our stay was improved by it. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Mt Juliet!

Staff was terrific, property is gorgeous. We’d go back for sure. Our only relatively minor issue was the shower/bathroom. It’s a bit oddly constructed and was nearly impossible to keep the water inside the shower.

Stayed one night in Hunters Lodge hotel - it was lovely from the staff to the decor to the bedrooms (really comfy beds). Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore the grounds or the spa but I hope to be back again!

This property is lovely! We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are up to date with extremely comfortable bedding. It was so quiet and relaxing! We enjoyed The Hound- the food some of the best we had during our week stay in Ireland. The outdoor patio was beautiful and relaxing!

So let down by the reception staff who took payment three times, once without even getting permission, and when I queried it I was met with the most rude and condescending tone I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Not just rude, but argumentative and patronising. “Let me tell you how a hotel works.” Barry and his colleague on reception are two people who do not belong in a five star establishment. Throughout the encounter they offered no apology or gesture of goodwill - not even once. It’s a crying shame, since the hotel itself is beautiful, and most staff were warm and friendly - particularly the women running the spa. Please let them run the reception instead! We did also have to wait a full hour for a bottle of champagne to arrive at dinner - rather a pre dinner toast it ended up being a desert accompaniment - again, no apology or acknowledgement. Disappointing.

check in was a really bad experience. something you would expect at a 1 star hotel not a 5 star & i phone reception around 5 o'clock in the evening & asked for a dinner menu for room service they said they would sent a menu to the room . we waited 2 hours & it never came. so we want to the hound restaurant for dinner . when we got back to the room there was a breakfast menu on top off the bed . we will never be back to this hotel.

Mount Juliet is the type of place you can leave your brain in the car. They take care of everything and are extremely pleasant, helpful and are willing to do anything you ask to make your stay more enjoyable. Amazing.

The hotel itself, the grounds, the scenary and the food are all amazing. But the standout aspect and what would make me return is the staff. They were all so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They really couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend. The Lady Helen restaurant was fantastic too.

This is an objectively nice hotel. I did not like it. It started when I expected to stay in the Manor house but found out that we the room we had booked was in a different hotel, not even mentioned in the listing. The room was nice but not charming. The staff were irritable and not very helpful. This hotel felt stuffy and ostentatious. We ordered room service at night, we were charged $20 for a sandwich with almost nothing on it. We had to pay $4 to swim at the pool! It felt like this very pricey hotel was constantly looking to charge for every little thing. The hotel is decorated with fake flowers and had dour staff. It felt like a funeral home where you have to pay extra to swim! If you are looking for snobby hotel with unwelcoming staff, this is the place for you. I would not stay here again.
