Our stay was wonderful. Jonas (spelling?) met us at the port and walked us to our apartment. He was kind and friendly. The apartment was spacious and immaculate. Our stay was perfect! I highly recommend Hydra Chromata.

We had a fantastic stay of three nights. The appartment exceeded our expectation, and the service was fantastic. Yiannis contacted us a couple of days in advance enquiring about our arrival in order to meet us when we got off the ferry. He helped us with our luggage up to the appartment. He gave us a thorough introduction to the appartment, and was available by phone if we had any queries. He delivered fresh bread every morning and kept our fridge stocked-up with breakfast. He was extremely helpfull and accomodating. The appartment was kept spotless during our whole stay. The appartment is in a quite neighbourhood, but not far from where all the "action" was. The roof-top terrace was fantastic with a lovely view. I can highly recommend this appartment to anyone.

We stayed for 3 days on the beautiful island of Hydra, our second visit. Our stay at Hydrate Chromata was excellent. We were greeted at the ferry and escorted to the property. The location is excellent, just a minute or two from the main harbour. Our room was modern, very clean with a lovely little balcony with a nice view. We were pleasantly surprised by the fridge being stocked with several staples and an espresso machine with pods and cream. Fresh bread was left at our door each morning which we loved and there was butter, jam etc in the room.This is a very well maintained property with great customer service and a perfect location. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you staff of Chromata!

Fantastic location, quiet but easy walk to the port ( almost no steps) and a lot of restaurants within 2-5 mins walking distance. The host John came to pick us up at the port when we arrived and gave us good recommendations for restaurants. Nice big clean room with comfortable bed. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

The place is beautiful, very central, modern and as it looks on photos! Bed was very comfortable and room spacious. Host was wonderful, polite and friendly, met us at port, and while breakfast was not included, we found everything we needed in the room free of charge as a treat! Lovely place indeed and best we have stayed in Hydra so far after 3 visits. We shall return surely!

The property manager met us at the ferry and carried my wife’s bag both to and from the room on our arrival and departure days. They brought us fresh bread every day, and stocked the frig with milk, juice, ham, cheese, yogurt, butter, and water. The place is immediately clean, and we had a wonderful view of the town and harbor from our large patio. A/C works well. The shower is entertaining. Even has a steam option. Would stay here again.

We were very pleased with the studio. It was spotless, well lit, nicely decorated and in a calm part of the town yet 2-3 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. Yiannis kindly met us at the port, helped us with our luggage and was always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions, make reservations, etc. Highly recommended place with a beautiful terrace to have breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon :-)

We loved our stay in the spacious and well-equipped Senior Suite, with two bedrooms. The quality of the apartment is felt in the many details: marble floors, new windows, television, modern appliances. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make a meal using the fresh produce and items from the grocery store 100m down the street. It’s close enough to the main action at the port and nearby beaches, but far enough up a gently sloping incline to feel quiet and very safe. I am already planning our next trip to return - for at least a week or more. Thank you to Yiannis and his lovely mother for the special care and hard work to make this a top destination!

We stayed in this apartment 2 years ago and were so pleased it was available for this stay. Great location in quiet area. We loved the large room and full kitchen. Fresh warm bread is delivered every morning for breakfast. Lovely!

Great place, to put it simple! We had the Executive and it was worth it, nice big terrasse with view over the village and some sea views. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Breakfast was available in the fridge, like cheese, greek yougurt etc and the friendly guy who picked us up at the ferry came with bread each morning. The only strange thing was the warm water, we never got it right so showering was a short joy. But that was just a minor thing, in all we sure recommend this place!

This is a lovely place to relax and enjoy! We stayed here four nights and I definitely would stay here again. Fresh bread is delivered every morning along with yogurt, cheese, lunch meat, juice and milk... definitely a plus to our stay. There are a few grocery stores nearby that sell fruit veggies, beer and wine. Only downside was internet went down for the last two days, but strong 5G outside of apartment. Hopefully the WiFi will get back and running soon. This was a great find and a sort walk from the ferry!

I have not been to Hydra before, so I didn't know where to stay so I picked Hydras Chromata based on reviews. We stayed in the Senior apartment. This was an awesome place, very spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath with a large living room and kitchen which separates the 2 bedrooms. There is a great restaurant steps away and a grocery store perhaps 50 meters away. The port is a 2 minute walk. Anna, the host, was great. Every morning there was fresh bread hanging on the door. The fridge was stocked with milk orange juice, meat and cheese for snacks plus yogurt and other breakfast treats. I will only stay here when we return. No regrets.

Our stay here was amazing. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies, the balcony and view was absolutely breathtaking, and the host, Yiannis, greeted us at the dock and brought us to our room and was available at all times. We wished we had stayed in Hydra longer so we could enjoy this beautiful apartment for another few days!

We were very pleased with the studio. It was spotless, well lit, nicely decorated and in a calm part of the town yet 2-3 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. Yiannis kindly met us at the port, helped us with our luggage and was always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions, make reservations, etc. Highly recommended place with a beautiful terrace to have breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon :-)

We loved our stay in the spacious and well-equipped Senior Suite, with two bedrooms. The quality of the apartment is felt in the many details: marble floors, new windows, television, modern appliances. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make a meal using the fresh produce and items from the grocery store 100m down the street. It’s close enough to the main action at the port and nearby beaches, but far enough up a gently sloping incline to feel quiet and very safe. I am already planning our next trip to return - for at least a week or more. Thank you to Yiannis and his lovely mother for the special care and hard work to make this a top destination!

We stayed for 3 days on the beautiful island of Hydra, our second visit. Our stay at Hydrate Chromata was excellent. We were greeted at the ferry and escorted to the property. The location is excellent, just a minute or two from the main harbour. Our room was modern, very clean with a lovely little balcony with a nice view. We were pleasantly surprised by the fridge being stocked with several staples and an espresso machine with pods and cream. Fresh bread was left at our door each morning which we loved and there was butter, jam etc in the room.This is a very well maintained property with great customer service and a perfect location. The place was really comfortable, clean and well located. Few minutes from the port, where the action is, but far enough for some peace and quiet. You also have few markets near the apartment. The owners made us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed. They would bring fresh bread from a local bakery every morning. A grreat place to stay when visiting this island.

This is a lovely place to relax and enjoy! We stayed here four nights and I definitely would stay here again. Fresh bread is delivered every morning along with yogurt, cheese, lunch meat, juice and milk... definitely a plus to our stay. There are a few grocery stores nearby that sell fruit veggies, beer and wine. Only downside was internet went down for the last two days, but strong 5G outside of apartment. Hopefully the WiFi will get back and running soon. This was a great find and a sort walk from the ferry!

Fantastic location, quiet but easy walk to the port ( almost no steps) and a lot of restaurants within 2-5 mins walking distance. The host John came to pick us up at the port when we arrived and gave us good recommendations for restaurants. Nice big clean room with comfortable bed. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

I have not been to Hydra before, so I didn't know where to stay so I picked Hydras Chromata based on reviews. We stayed in the Senior apartment. This was an awesome place, very spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath with a large living room and kitchen which separates the 2 bedrooms. There is a great restaurant steps away and a grocery store perhaps 50 meters away. The port is a 2 minute walk. Anna, the host, was great. Every morning there was fresh bread hanging on the door. The fridge was stocked with milk orange juice, meat and cheese for snacks plus yogurt and other breakfast treats. I will only stay here when we return. No regrets.

We had a fantastic stay of three nights. The appartment exceeded our expectation, and the service was fantastic. Yiannis contacted us a couple of days in advance enquiring about our arrival in order to meet us when we got off the ferry. He helped us with our luggage up to the appartment. The property manager met us at the ferry and carried my wife’s bag both to and from the room on our arrival and departure days. They brought us fresh bread every day, and stocked the frig with milk, juice, ham, cheese, yogurt, butter, and water. Beautiful Hydra. Apartment was close to the port it was clean very spacious and modern. We loved the fresh bread delivered every morning by our very welcoming host Yiannis!
