The Staff was very friendly, the building and grounds were dated but in good condition. On papaer it looked the docks were on or near the main buildings but they were 1.5 miles away. the smoking area was between our room and the parking lot. So it seemed there was always someone sitting or standing there smoking when we walked back and forth from the car, which was uncomfortable

Good location, comfortable, well equipped, large studio. Pool was occupied by a group of ladies exercising from 10:30 to 11:30 am so we did not swim.

The resort is a quaint New England type older wood building on the bay at Wolfeboro. The staff was great! The rooms are older and clean. It cannot compare to modern 5 star hotel, but you cannot wake up to deck overlooking this beautiful setting at a modern hotel either. I would recommend the stay and the prices were very reasonable. They even have assigned parking to make things easy.

The room studio is clean, the wood from the construction get used very quickly, staff is nice. The area is quite. People who get there are families. There is a pool and spa, but I didn't get the chance to use them because it was closed. There is no breakfast at the premises, so ypu will have to go to a restaurant/diner nearby.

We stayed at the Windrifter for 2 nights as we had a wedding in Wolfeboro. Our room was located in the main part of the inn, but was on the third floor without access to an elevator. It would have been difficult to reach the room if we had had mobility concerns. Window air conditioner units cooled the space, but were somewhat noisy. Our room was street side which also contributed to a less quiet stay ( motorcycles & trucks). Updated bathroom, but shower was rather small. The unit was equipped with everyday conveniences. An iron was missing, but readily available when we contacted office. Indoor salt water pool located on the grounds was clean and a nice perk. Located next door to the inn was Kingswood Golf Course; a perfect opportunity for us to walk to the course for a round of golf before the wedding. The inn is in a great location; 10 minutes to the center of the quaint Wolfeboro area! I know this inn is part of RCI for timeshare exchanges, which I am a member. I’m not at liberty to review the accommodations for this purpose, but staying in the main inn for our 2 day experience met its purpose.

Dirty, musty, dark, walls, doors filthy. Bed had 4 long black hairs. I don’t know what they use for cleaning solutions but I would say maybe they just used water. So tired of these dirty hotels. All done with vrbo, Expedia and all these other sites that promote how wonderful and clean these hotels & houses are. So tired of traveling with my own cleaning products.

The room was a studio that could do with a refresh. The balcony was very nice. The room had a strange musty smell that wouldnt go away. The toilet was so close to the tub that it was awkward to use. Bedspread and sheets were very thin. However, parking was easy and it was convenient to shops and restaurants. Staff were nice.

I WANT A REFUND. I wish I could give negative stars. We couldn’t even stay for 15 minutes and they still won’t give me a refund. The room we had was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. There seemed to be blood stains on the front facing pillow on the bed, there was still garbage from the last guest in the bathroom, there was crumbs in the kitchen and the floors were filthy. The chair had stains as well. There was a musty smell as soon as we walked up the stairs. The worst part is they had new folded dish cloths in the kitchen so I’m sure someone would have said that room was “cleaned”. I am not one to write bad reviews but I still feel grossed out by this room, this was a relatively expensive room as well. we had to pay double for a different hotel after we left here in a hurry. Please do yourself a favour and take this off Expedia.

We liked the location. It is right along the road, so the in-window AC units let in a lot of noise. I'm not sure why they were in since it was almost freezing. It for our needs for a night before the Off-Rodeo.

Nice place, room was spacious and very clean. Staff was great, very friendly and accommodating. Issue was that the main bed was a Murphy bed, and not very supportive or comfortable. (Room was big enough where bed did not have to be a Murphy bed). Don’t know if my back could have handled it for another day or 2. Did not say that in room description. Stated it was a queen bed and sleeper sofa.

The property is a nice property. But it needs to be updated. The light switches are in peculiar places. The wi-fi was not working. The sink in the bathroom had no place to put a toiletry kit. The water flow in the shower was minimal. The receptionist was a great asset, willing to help in every way with restaurants and even offered to carry our bags to our room.

This was a stay with my adult daughter and friend. We only stayed one night as we were in the area for a show. The room had a musty smell to it when we walked in so we opened the door and turned on the ac to air it out which seemed to help a bit. There was one double bed and a pullout sofa. The bed was okay but the pullout was absolutely terrible. The thinnest "mattress" I'd ever seen and when you laid on it you could feel every spring. I think my daughter would have been better off just sleeping on the sofa. I don't think we'd stay here again.

Unfortunately, we could hear every footstep above us. We had to listen to the walking back and forth for hours. The floors creaked like an old wooden floor. It finally stopped about 11:30 pm but started up again at 6 am. The next night wasn't as long but still annoying. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay.

I got to my room much later than expected. They were very courteous and left the key n directions to my room there they said it would be. I’d really like to go and experience a full couple of days not just to sleep n leave. Thank you !!!!

The kitchen was great. There was a paper clip left on the balcony I thankfully saw before the toddler went out there! The helpful items (pack and play, highchair) offered to me prior to check in i asked for pack and play, but when I opened it was dirty stained on the side. No problem i said to myself but I will call for high chair so I did, but didn’t receive it until 1pm the next day. We also didn’t appreciate the lack of available extra towels when needed even at night. And finally and the most inconvenient was the distance needed to travel on foot to reach our vehicle. Other than all that we loved it!

Office attendants were not as friendly as expected and seemed to get frustrated with question we presented. My card was declined after they had charged half of my stay to the same account already. We were disappointed at the availability of their pool as hours were late in the morning.

I WANT A REFUND. I wish I could give negative stars. We couldn’t even stay for 15 minutes and they still won’t give me a refund. The room we had was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. There seemed to be blood stains on the front facing pillow on the bed, there was still garbage from the last guest in the bathroom, there was crumbs in the kitchen and the floors were filthy. The chair had stains as well. There was a musty smell as soon as we walked up the stairs. The worst part is they had new folded dish cloths in the kitchen so I’m sure someone would have said that room was “cleaned”. I am not one to write bad reviews but I still feel grossed out by this room, this was a relatively expensive room as well. we had to pay double for a different hotel after we left here in a hurry. Please do yourself a favour and take this off Expedia.

The Staff was very friendly, the building and grounds were dated but in good condition. On papaer it looked the docks were on or near the main buildings but they were 1.5 miles away. the smoking area was between our room and the parking lot. So it seemed there was always someone sitting or standing there smoking when we walked back and forth from the car, which was uncomfortable

Beautiful area and looks out onto Lake Winnepasake can walk to area shops and restaurants. Needs updating and a good cleaning. Checked out 2 days early due to a sickness and not much was said when checking out. Floors needed moppingmopmopping

Amazing propriety and great location. We booked a room at the yacht club location, overlooking the water. We had amazing view of the lake and were within walking distance of all restaurants and Wolfeboro.

Useful place for a 1 night stop on way East to Maine. Only drawback was the road outside... Plenty of traffic which meant noise and a bit of a challenge crossing to the walkway on the opposite side of the road. Otherwise useful for wolfeboro.

This hotel was strategically located from downtown Wolfeboro. Our unit had 2 bedrooms. It was quiet, nicely heated, clean, and sported a small kitchen including refrigerator, microwave, and stove. The furniture was older with scratches, but for the price, it was worth it. The land was walkable bordering a golf course. We had a lovely deck overlooking some great playground equipment for kids. We will return.

I was prepared to be disappointed because the Resort is on the main road, but I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully quiet our room was! Parking was a breeze, and the water recreation options were unexpected! I went for a swim at the yacht club, wished I'd had time to take out a paddle board. The room was lovely; clean, comfortable and super practical with the mini kitchen. Great location - easy, short drive to the center of town.

Great property right next to the water. Sheets and towels were clean, shower was hot. Walking distance to cute shops and ice cream. Really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is I called ahead to be sure the pull-out couches had bedding, was assured they did, but they didn't. We made due with extra blankets in the room, but bedding would have been appreciated.

Checking in was easy, and the woman at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and make change for me to use the washer and dryer. She also recommended the Golf Club for dinner. It was very good. I also walked to the downtown area and stopped a local coffee shor, and then received a trolly ride back. I also dined at a local restaurant along the walk downtown. Thank you.

It was a really nice trip and would love to stay longer sometime. The room was clean and spacious. I had everything I needed if I wanted to bring in my own groceries and cook, but I was only there for a few days and chose to dine out. The mattress is firm, so if you're used to soft it may be an adjustment. Water got good and hot. Property is managed well, and grounds are very well taken care of. I will definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.

The room studio is clean, the wood from the construction get used very quickly, staff is nice. The area is quite. People who get there are families. There is a pool and spa, but I didn't get the chance to use them because it was closed. There is no breakfast at the premises, so ypu will have to go to a restaurant/diner nearby.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Perfect little place with everything you need. Coffee was available in the room and downstairs by the desk and the room we stayed in had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and all the cookware and glassware you need. It's definitely an older property but that is what gives it it's charm. Our TV did not work in our room but was not a huge deal. Front desk staff were kind and flexible. Would absolutely stay again and use the pool next time, it closes at 9p.
