The Factor's Inn & Factor's Cottage

La chambre est située dans une maison attenante au château. Elle est très confortable. Notre hôte nous a permis d’arriver vers 21h30. Seul irritant: le coût du petit-déjeuner, 38£ par personne. Nous avons plutôt opté pour un restaurant situé dans un camping et offrant des services de buanderie très faciles à utiliser. De plus, on nous a demandé un dépôt de 38£, ce qui était imprévu. Son utilité reste un mystère.

L’enregistrement pas facile car il fallait aller dans un château où le stationnement était plein et lieu difficile à trouver. La chambre était correcte mais lit très mou et pas confortable.

When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at.

Super cute space - loved that it was on the castle grounds (fun to explore and go on a nice long walk). Room was huge. Only downside was the room was quite damp (wet items didn't dry in 3 days with the heat on) and there was no fridge - which is tricky since you're sort of out in the middle of no where with not a lot of food options around, and a lot of hiking where you want snacks.

We were there 2 nights. Rooms are above the bar/pub so we could hear the music and noises from the kitchen. No hot water on the first day and no apologies or offer of compensation from the hotel. Located right on a busy highway going into Fort William. Definitely need a vehicle if planning to stay here as it is located a few miles from town. Rooms comfortable but bathrooms need updating. Not sure I would stay there again.
