THB Gran Playa - Adults Only

Just come home from a week of b b at the Gran Playa. The hotel is perfectly situated 2 mins from the beachfront and the multitude of restaurants and eateries strewn along the promenade as far as you can walk. So many options for drinks and dining. Open all day long and well into the evening. The rooms are basic but have all you require for your stay. Cleaned everyday and bed made. Everything was functioning in the room. ie a/c, fridge, lights, TV. Bed was memory foam and comfortable. Our room had an accompanying balcony which was perfect for drying clothes and towels overnight ready for the next day. Breakfast was from 8-1030 and had an abundance of fresh foods to gorge on whatever your taste. The pool large enough to swim lengths and was surrounded by sunbeds that mostly caught the sun at some or all of the day. Timings of the use of the pool was our only gripe. It was only open from 10-7pm due to having to have a lifeguard on duty at these times. However guests seemed to be permitted to lounge on or baggsie a sunbed before 10am. Early risers will be rewarded!! (beware of towelgate). We used the gym facilities (I know right??!!) once. Sauna Steam and hot tub all worked well. Every member of staff seemed very friendly to us and very helpful. A special mention must go out to Ana on reception. She was amazing and went above and beyond for all our queries and requirements from information gathering to booking excursions, etc. So friendly....WE LOVE ANA!!! Don't hesitate to book!

Great experience all around. Food buffet had a great selection without feeling repetitive and the pool and other amenities were superb. Great location by the beach and not hard to find entertainment in the local area

Was a lovely stay, staff were really nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the pool and bar area as it was clean, quiet and nice. Hotel was in a great spot, a couple blocks away from the beach and boardwalk.

Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück absolut in Ordnung. Beim Abendessen findet jeder was aber spätestens am 4. Tag hatt man lust auf was anderes. Leider ist der Poolbereich viel zu klein. Zwischen den Liegen und dem Pool sind nur 60cm Platz um durch zu laufen. Da müsste dringend was verändert werden. Zimmer, Betten, Cocktail‘s und Personal waren allerdings einwandfrei.

Das Hotel ist modern, sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Personal war immer super freundlich und die Essensauswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet und beim Abendessen ist wirklich sehr groß und alles ist sehr lecker. Zum Strand sind es zwei Minuten zu Fuß und auch am Pool kann man gut entspannen. Man findet eigentlich immer eine freie Liege. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel. Personal ist mega zuvorkommend und höflich. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Pool klein, aber dennoch nicht überlaufen und sehr sauber. Im Badezimmer könnten zumindest die Fugen der Dusche ausgetauscht werden… als kleiner Handwerkertipp. Die Innenstadt lädt zum Bummeln ein, gute Restaurants in 5 min an der Promenade erreichbar. Strand? Verlasst Ca’n Picafort nördlich der südlich, unglaubliche Strände durchzogen von kantigem Fels und Ihr seid fast alleine

Lage vom Hotel ist top: 5min zu Fuß vom Strand und direkt in der Flaniermeile. Die Bar liegt direkt im Innenhof der jede Menge Schatten, kühle Getränke und gute Snacks bietet. Die Zimmer waren ok von der Größe, Badezimmer hatte eine begehbare Dusche. Wir hatten das Glück, das unser Balkon Blick zum Meer hatte. Das haben wir sehr genossen. Auch wenn das Frühstück sehr gut war, war das Abendessen unterirdisch schlecht. Nudeln fast zerkocht, Reisgericht (lieblose Resteverwertung) Schweineschnitzel wurde falsch geschnitten und aufgerundeten zäh. Usw.

Excellent service, bedrooms were clean, bright and offered air conditioning / heating. The communal areas were also very clean. Food at the buffet was great and staff were excellent and very friendly, special thanks to Gabriel! He was extremely helpful. Thank you!

The beds were made every day but the the coffee was never replenished, the cups or glasses never cleaned the towels not replaced… overall not a good cleaning

👍 Das Frühstück war super, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist gut und in der Nähe gibt es einen großen kostenfreien Parkplatz. 👎 Das Zimmer hingegen entsprach nicht den Bildern und war leider auch nicht ganz sauber. Die Bettwäsche hatte mehrere Flecken. Das Bad war sehr alt, die Handtücher waren dreckig und auf dem Boden und den Ablagen lagen Haare. Die Dusche/ Wanne war schimmelig und die Halterung für das Toilettenpapier war halb aus der Wand gerissen.

Die Badezimmer sind nicht wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, es sind sehr alte Bäder. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und es wird nur die Betten gemacht und neue Handtücher hingelegt. Leider wird nicht mal durchgesagt und hat somit den ganzen Aufenthalt Sand im Zimmer. Teilweise ging die Klimaanlage nicht. Nach Wunsch ein neues Zimmer zu bekommen aufgrund des Badezimmers, wurde es erneut das gleiche Zimmer gegeben. Die Betten waren sehr unbequem und die Zimmer waren sehr runtergekommen. Es gab vom Personal hier kein Verständnis dafür, dass wir die Zimmer wechseln wollen. Ich würde das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Chambre avec des cheveux au sol, piscine pas propre, le ménages n'est pas très bien fait. Le personnel est agréable mais rien de plus, on y est resté une semaine et toujours le même bonjours, pas un mots de plus aucune personnalité, dommage

Im großen und Ganzen ein gutes Hotel. Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders das Badezimmer. Bei der Zimmerreinigung wird lediglich das Bett gemacht und frische Handtücher hin gehangen - wir hatten leider die ganze Woche über den Sand vom Strand im Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig - wir hatten extra nach einem ruhigen Zimmer gefragt. Die Auswahl sowohl beim Frühstück und Abendessen ist groß und es ist eig immer für jeden etwas dabei. Das Frühstück gibt es erst ab 8 Uhr. Die Lage ist wirklich super, man ist direkt am Strand und in der Umgebung ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Auch Parkplätze für größere Autos sind kein Problem.

A well designed, attractive and well located hotel. I liked this hotel very much. The staff were exceptional, especially the reception team, restaurant team and spa therapist. My room was spotless, great shops, bars and restaurants on the same road and the beach just behind the hotel. Loved every minute of my stay.

Really friendly service and clean rooms! At night it can get a little noisy due to the outdoor bar being below some rooms but this didn’t impact us. 2 minute walk from the beach and lord of shops / dining options nearby.

Nice hotel, good location, quite small room so was a bit cosy. But nice for what i needed. Comfy bed and good shower.

Wir haben die Unterkunft nach der ersten Nacht wieder verlassen. Wir kamen am Anreisetag gegen 09:00 Uhr im Hotel an. Beim Check in wurde weder etwas erklärt noch bekamen wir Handtücher, damit wir zum Pool oder Strand konnten. Das Zimmer Richtung Straße war laut, klein und der Geruch der umliegenden Restaurants war nicht einladend um am Balkon zu sitzen. Am nächsten Morgen wollten wir gehen 09:00 Handtücher, das war nicht möglich, da, Handtücher erst um 10:00 zur Verfügung stehen. Das Armband als zimmerschlüssel hat meist nicht funktioniert, auch hier extrem unfreundliche Behandlung an der Rezeption.

Zentral gelegen, Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig erreichbar, sehr modernes Hotel, tolle Zimmer, super Service, leckere Buffets.

It is conveniently located in the north of Mallorca at Can picafort. The staff at reception and the pool bar were pleasant. I went in for the all inclusive package and I think it was definitely a mistake. Lunch on a daily basis was a let down with a limited menu, so I decided to skip it on the last two daya at the hotel. The selection of cut fruits and cakes at dessert with exactly the same for every lunch and dinner meal. That was exhausting. The drinks package was good and had nice variety. While I was there there was no evening entertainment at all. For the first 3 daya the room that I was allotted had very patch Wifi and the staircase close to it was closed, I requested to move and they did move me to a btter room for the next few day where I had better coverage of wifi. Would I go back, given everything, probably not!

Nel complesso l’hotel è moderno, pulito e lo staff si dimostra disponibile. Bella la zona piscina in cui rilassarsi bevendo un cocktail. Le camere non sono molto grandi ma sono comunque confortevoli. Il bagno un po’ da rivedere, c’era ruggine in vari punti e la porta era scollata in alcuni punti, ciò dovuto sicuramente a schizzi d’acqua e umidità. Ottima la posizione a due passi dal mare e ai vari bar/negozi

Lo mejor es la atención del personal y la ubicación, que aunque no es primera línea de playa, lo tienes todo cerca. Lo peor, en la habitación había cosas en mal estado, como el armario que no cerraba, el interruptor del baño, la taza del inodoro se movía y la cama sonaba por tener la pata central medio rota.

Zimmerservice ist überfordert, arbeitet ohne System. Rezeption ist hilfsbereit, der Nachtdienst allerdings nicht kompetent. Das Frühstück ist lecker und vielfältig, der Außenbereich zum Essen lieblos und nicht schön.

Good pool area with plenty of seating and access to bar with snacks. Good choice of food at breakfast buffet. Overall a really nice place to stay but a few odd and small gripes: only 2 teabags are provided for the entire stay and no milk or teaspoons; you cannot self serve water at breakfast - the server was quite aggressive when I tried to pour a glass; when the bar closes guest are not allowed to continue sitting outside. Really odd! But overall the good far outweighed the bad.

All people of the staff were awesome. At the reception, at the restaurant, at the bar. Especially Ana, José, Marlon, Juanillo, Yolanda, Madi, Laura... But generally everyone in this Hotel is very nice and kind. The room and mostly everywhere was really beautiful and clean.

Staff are really friendly and helpful and so welcoming. Nice cosy little room with air conditioning. The area is right next to the beach and loads of restaurants. Loads of supermarkets and aldi just 15 minutes away. There’s boat trips/jet ski about 20 minute walk from hotel. I should done more exploring but you can get a taxi for around 10 minutes where you can book activities (I saw on the way back). I checked in online so all I needed to do was show passport. Check in and check was smooth. Would definitely stay here again. And it’s great because no kids allowed! There a huge seating area inside where reception is and then some space to sit outside. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend. Thank you!!

The hotel was very nice and and very clean. Staff was very helpful and check in and check out was fast and efficient. Only thing is if you are driving a car, it is hard to find parking near the hotel. There is no parking lots, only street parking. Some days we would have to park 5 blocks down. Just be aware of that, but overall it was a good stay and I would use this hotel again.

Die Unterkunft hatte eine gute Lage. Strand, Supermärkte, Restaurants und Souvenirshops in unmittelbarer Nähe. Vor Ort gab es genug Parkplätze auf der Straße. Das Frühstück und der Service waren gut. Rundum ein super Hotel.

Ist ein Erwachsenenhotel, Gäste mehrheitlich Pensionisten, daher sehr ruhig. Personal im Speiseraum ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen in großer Auswahl- verschiedenste Salate, Gemüse, Hauptgericht ( Fleisch, Fisch) wird vor dem Gast gebraten. Jeden Tag gab es einen Themenabend, z.B. Tropical, Latino, Tex mex. Große Obst und Nachspeisentheke. Wer da nicht satt wird, ist selber schuld. Zimmer mit Balkon, sehr geräumig. Als Anregung, wie in vielen Hotels schon üblich, müssten die Handtücher nicht jeden Tag gewechselt werden, sondern nur auf Gästewunsch.Ich habe kein Problem, mich auch ein zweites Mal mit dem gleichen Badetuch abzutrocknen. Für den Poolbereich bekommt man vor Ort sowieso ein eigenes Badetuch. Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden

Essen ist gut. Mein Aufenthalt war 4 Tage und es gab jeden Tag das gleiche Essen am Büffet. lwdiglich die „Spezials des Tages“ wechselten sich täglich ab. ( z. b Dönerspieß, Ganzer Truthahn am Stück vom Grill…) Alles in allem würde ich sagen: das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.

I recently stayed at Hotel THB Gran Playa and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The location is excellent – just a short walk to the beach and close to local shops and restaurants, which made exploring super convenient. The breakfast was definitely a highlight – lots of variety, fresh options, and well-stocked each morning (vegan options were limited however). I also made good use of the gym, which had everything I needed, though it would be even better if it opened earlier in the morning. The staff were generally helpful, with some being especially friendly and welcoming. My room was comfortable, although it could’ve been cleaned a bit more thoroughly during my stay. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and relaxed. While there were a few small areas for improvement, I’d still recommend THB Gran Playa to anyone looking for a nice base in the area.
