The staff was friendly and my stay was comfortable enough. My room wasnt bad, it was clean and had all the necessary things you would expect to find such as a small fridge, microwave, tv etc. I didnt see any bugs in the room or bed bugs (I always check) and they were putting in new beds and frames during my stay. There was a couple ceiling tiles in the bathroom with waterspots and the walls could have been washed down a bit better in the room. The hotels linen had some questionable stains on it, even on the new linen I requested house keeping to provide. I went and bought a pillow and bedding set from target for my stay and removed the hotel linens provided. The breakfast was not great mostly just cereal, a packaged muffin, and some frozen eggos left out. Theres a bagel place and diner next door and a DD down the street though. The 3rd floor is a smoking floor so if you dont smoke avoid booking. The ice machine is only on the 1st and 3rd floors. My stay was pretty quiet.

I splurged and booked the room with the Jetted Tub. When I was ready to use it I found out that the stopper to the tub would push down. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk he just kept saying it was easy and that the tub worked fine ....it didn't. I wasted $200 when I could of spent half that for a regular room.

We were in a non smoking room but the room smelled like an old ash tray. There were blood splatter stains on 3 separate areas of the walls. Even though it’s cheap it is not at all worth the price

Had to switch rooms - the first room was filthy. The pillow case was gross - had makeup and stains on it. The comforter was disgusting. The second room was marginally better but didn’t dare step on the rug with bare feet. Strong smell of marijuana out in the hallway

We had only been in the room for a couple of hours before finding several bedbugs crawling on the bed. We immediately notified the front desk and showed the staff the bedbugs. He told us he didn’t have any other room available, and we should call in the morning for a full refund of our payment. We left the hotel and had to find other accommodations. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

We stayed for two nights. It was very loud. We called to the front desk but they were not helpful. The sheets were stained and the bathroom smelled like urine. There was always a string bleach smell in the lobby. There is a breakfast in the morning but the items were stale or expired. We told the front desk in the first day that the yogurt expired a week ago and try it was still there the next morning. Unacceptable

Clean and very comfortable bed. Everything worked great, including the online check in. The staff at the front desk were very attentive and friendly. The room was quiet and clean. The top corner of the fitted bed sheet was torn, but it's because the mattress is very very thick and so comfortable. Plenty of towels and bathroom items like shampoo, rinse, body wash and the one thing I have always had a issue with was NOT an issue there! A full roll of toilet tissue and an extra roll. We will be staying there again this winter when we go to see our granddaughter again.

Bed was comfortable enough but it was so loud there was no sleep to be had. Our room was right behind reception and we could hear loud talking all night into the morning from customers and staff. The breakfast was a joke. Luckily there’s a diner within walking distance that has decent food.

Exactly what I had hoped for. The price was affordable. The room was clean no odors, and comfortable bedding. One thing I always worry about with economy priced lodging is the kind of neighborhood it’s in and this area seemed safe and quiet. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was decent. What more do you want? I highly recommend this place for someone who doesn’t want to throw their money away and have a comfortable nights rest with a hot bagel and cream cheese and a cup of coffee and an OJ in the morning.

This hotel is located 5 minutes off of i80 and well worth the drive. It is an older hotel but is well kept. The noise level in the hotel is minimal and the noise from outside the hotel is low. Try to avoid rooms next to the elevator because of elevator chimes. But overall the rooms were clean and inviting and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for the money. I would stay there again.

The room we were in was large, but extremely noisy. We lost a lot of sleep. Our room was behind the check-in and was not very sound proofed. Our window faced the rear of the building and people were out there all hours talking. The bathroom door was not able to close and the toilet was stopped up the day we left. The bathroom was large but the tub was leaking. The pillows looked very old and not very comfortable. I think the thing we like the best was the staff was friendly. No interaction but always a smile when we came in or left the area. We will not be back.

Staff was very rude and non accommodating. Breakfast was a joke. Front desk was one of the most obnoxious people I have ever dealt with in all my years of travel. We used to stay there often and it was not bad ..but now forget it. We met a few others in the elevators who had the same complaints....stick with Baymont or spend the money and go to the Marriot.

The customer service was severely lacking. The younger man at the front desk was on his personal cell phone most of the time and couldn't be bothered to pay attention to guests at the desk or incoming phone calls. He yelled at me about breakfast. I ate a small packaged muffin and yogurt, and I was still hungry. When I went to take 1 more muffin, the younger man at front desk said I couldn't have it. The younger man at front desk also kept asking me if I was checking out--starting at 8:30 am (checkout is 11 am) and every hour after that. I felt unwelcomed, rushed, and like a dollar sign (just rushing me out to turn over room faster). The younger man at front desk seemed to be Indian and on the taller side. I will not be going back to this property nor will I recommend to my friends and family.

Never been treated as badly by any other private business as I was at the Budd Lake Days Inn. They knocked on my door when I had a Do Not Disturb sign on, told me that they had a right to enter when I asked them to come back later, then told me that I had to be out by the next day when I apparently didn't show enough glee with this shoddy treatment.

The hotel was fine upon arrival. We were driving to Rhode Island from Pittsburgh and stopped here. In the morning the fella working the front told my son he could not take a fruit cup upstairs during breakfast because it was in a plastic container. The fruit cup was for me. My son said the man was rushing him along as he was preparing his food like he did not want him there. I went downstairs to see what was going on and all he kept saying was he was going to charge me extra. Breakfast comes with the room. Wasn't sure why. But he got rude with me and insisted that he would charge me, told me I couldn't sit in the lobby. I told him to call the police. Police showed up and parked on side of building. Waited for me to leave and pull me over. They told me they get calls from that hotel about issues all the time. I found it interesting that the police didn't come into the hotel but waiting for me to leave in order to pull me over. I contacted my lawyer. After this, we checked out immediately.

Our driver was not allowed to check in after being asked to move his vehicle by hotel staff. He got into a verbal altercation with the hotel staff and was told they had CANCELLED his reservation - I then had to find and book him another hotel at 10:00 PM, VERY POOR experience at this hotel.

Expired breakfast items, was not allowed to leave property with coffee even though "breakfast " was included. Charged us an extra $25 for our baby. We traveled from florida to nj for a funeral and i would never recommend this property

The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the toiletries. Express breakfast was okay if you’re just grabbing something quick it was pretty much coffee, juice, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt and bread. Elevators and hallway had a dirty mop smell, but the rooms were clean. About an hour away from NYC.

Cheese had mold in it and yogurt was expired by 3 weeks! Unacceptable. I contacted the managers email because no one there could help me but they never reached back to me. I would recommend this place at all. Also the bed sheets were stained.
