Lovely staff and and amazing location and everything was very tidy. However, the hotel is quite dated and the wifi didn’t work ( I was on the sixth floor and when I asked I was told that the WiFi drops out after the second floor). I know this hotel has been around for ages and it has so much potential, so I hope someone can swoop in and give it the modernising refurb it so richly deserves 🤗

Location is perfect but if you’re driving, parking is a vey problematic, they don’t have a garage so you’ll be subjected to fight for a parking spot especially the weekend. The hotel itself is as advertised , old and charming. So no A/C , rooms are spacious and clean and the staff made up for all the inconveniences, very accommodating and helpful . I’ll still consider staying here next time

Nice rustic hotel in a fantastic location just a short walk to the lovely promenade where you can find bars and restaurants. Parking can be an issue as there is no car park, also along the street outside, parking is for residents only. Breakfast was ok, would have been nice to have had a hot offering though. There is no air conditioning and the rooms get very hot, it was 39 degrees when we stayed and it felt like an oven. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Clean but very dated. Our room had a small double bed which wasn’t really big enough for two. Breakfast had the usual selection of continental items. There were a couple of coach parties staying at the same time and they seemed to take priority over us. No parking available at the property as car park now appears to be used as an outside terrace instead which is a strange choice as parking would be more useful.
