The Bucks Head

We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! I’d personally avoid this place and find an alternative.

Wonderful stop on SDW. Friendly helpful staff, lovely pizza and great value.

Lovely place to stay whilst walking the South Downs Way, the staff were all brilliant, so friendly and attentive and couldn't have done more to make sure we were happy.

Wonderful place to stay and have a delicious dinner. Thank you!

Dirt fell from the ceiling onto my head while brushing teeth. Limited facilities in room to make a tea and dirty glasses.
