Very nice resort, great pool and hot tub.Room was very clean and had a complete kitchen. The game room was decent, but nothing to write home about. Only issue was the coffee maker did not have the pot to go with it. I had to put my cup under the spout and push up against the coffee maker nozzle with my fingers to coax the hot coffee to come out! HOT coffee which my fingers didn’t enjoy.

Great place to rest and relax if this is what you want to do. I would highly recommend. They have great facilities at the hotel the hot tub and steam room was a hit for us. The property is very quiet and serene.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The property was clean and very comfortable!! Outside our room we had a Mountain View and the colors were amazing. Easy walk to the mountain base and ski lodge where the Oktoberfest was being held. The hotel included great amenities including a pool, hot tubs, workout room, spa, sauna and outdoor fire pit. On site restaurant was convenient but closed at 9 pm.

Spacious and Clean. Been traveling to this region each summer/labor day for over 40 years - and have finally found accommodations that are actually worth the price. Nice heated pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool tubs. In room fireplace, full kitchen.on site restaurant and bar. Beds could be litttle more comfier - but are adequate. Highly recommend.

This is a solid, convenient place to stay, if you’re skiing at Hunter Mountain. It is not super luxurious, and feels more like a really nice Extended StayAmerica than a resort hotel. But you can ski out and ski in, and the hot tubs were good. The spa, however, is still closed after more than two years. I do not know why they will not open it back up. And there is no real breakfast option available.

Ok place. Good enough. Few things could have been better. I booked a king bed suite, but got a queen bed. The fireplace didn’t work, but the maintenance guy fixed it. Coffee maker didn’t work, so we went out to buy coffee, but they replaced it later that day. Shower was moldy. Room wasn’t cleaned when we returned after the day and there were only a few guests in hotel so that didn’t make sense. The staff were nice and sweet. We were told it was the off season so restaurant was closed. Wish I knew that before booking but we found places to go. Overall, I think management should overhaul shower stalls to clean to remove mold n have staff do a better job of cleaning. Other than that, it was fine. Typical ski mountain hotel.

Great family oriented hotel in the heart of Hunter Mountain. Clean, friendly staff, nice size rooms, and good bar/dining area for dinner. Overall great stay for the price! (One recommendation to facilities/maintenance staff: shower curtains should be replaced (stains on them).

Room was just adequate and highly overpriced. Octoberfest was happening, so that could be why. Bed was comfortable with decent pillows. Odd layout of room with the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. All in all, room could stand a refresh.

View was great, room was well appointed. One gripe, the shower stall is tiny, despite the bathroom being quite large! If you ever redo the bathrooms, you should make the shower a bit bigger, even just making it square would double the space! We liked how many plates, silverware, towels and things that were in the room (10 of each plate, tons of glasses, 6 bath towels plus pool towels), so it was very well set up for our stay!

Had no internet in our room. Tried to use the phone on the wall to call front desk, phone not hooked up but we did have cell phones so that worked out. Nice to have the use of a full kitchen. House was very clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff was extremely friendly, prices are too high for the quality of the food but overall experience was very good. Thinking of coming back during ski season.

My wife and two of our grandchildren stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with the pull down queen bed. Very comfortable accomodations with full kitchen. Nice room, nice view, friendly front desk staff and close proximity to the Sky Lift up to Hunter Mountain was a plus. We stayed here we wanted to hike to Kaaterskils Falls which was only a 10 minute drive down the main road to the resort. Our grandchildren enjoyed the swimming pool as well.

The place was nice. It was pretty noisy in terms that i can hear the people above when they walk. I can aloso hear doors slamming. I enjoy everything but being woken up by foot steps and slamming doors.

We had an awful experience at the check in . Paty S was rude with us because she couldn’t find the reservation. It took us 1 hour to solve the problem, that was a mistake that made Krista (the other person at the desk), instead of of searching my last name wich I spelled it to her, they were searching another another last name. The situation was solve thanks to the help of Max, an employee that was very kind and polite.

The other guests had a lot of outrageous requests when there was a line to check in which caused everyone else to wait in line for over 45 minutes. Staff should have put them to the side and helped others instead of holding up check in especially when I have bad mobility issues due to an injury and was made to stand so long. Then they told us the wrong hours for the restaurant and they said brunch was available for purchase on Saturday at 11 so we waited for that to find out the restaurant was closed for a wedding. The towel rack fell on me 2 times in the bathroom. Overall it was a frustrating experience with the hotel but our friends wedding in Roxsbury was beautiful.

The place is very well maintained. The staff were all very nice and always seemed more than happy to help. The location is great, as there are so many areas nearby to go and explore. We will definitely be back again.

The place was great BUT the ride from the point where you leave Route 23A and cross the bridge to the hotel itself, i.e. the last 400 yards, is sort of like a war zone or a massive parking lot in an industrial lot with cones showing the way. Not very nice at all.

Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The accessibility to the mountain and lifts was great. However, the hotel is dated, the fitness center is in disrepair, and the spa closed in 2020 and never reopened. There are no options for breakfast or lunch in the hotel, which is an inconvenience, esp when the ski lodge is insanely over crowded and ridiculously expensive ($5.50-$7.00 for a WATER, $6.50 for a coffee). I mean, come on. Additionally, the game room was non-functional when we were there, as there were no game cards and many of the machines weren’t even working. This place has a tremendous amount of potential, but just isn’t living up to it. I doubt we’ll go back.

The property and staff were amazing. Bar/restaurant had great food and excellent service. The back patio was beautiful and the fire pit was a nuce spot to enjoy some cocktails. The pool looked nice, wish we brought our bathing suits. Will definitely stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kaatskill Mountain Club. The amenities are great. It would be nice if the restaurant was open for breakfast as they only offer dinner service. That said, I will be returning.
