The Pacific Sutera Hotel

A lovely hotel by the waterfront with an amazing view of yachts and the islands. All meals are in the buffet restaurant that provides a huge choice of local dishes and some international food. There is a tiny bar by the waterfront that serves simple food in the evenings. Excellent service staff and ambience. The hotel is just 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to shopping malls, served by the hotel's free shuttle bus. Grab to the city is easy to get and inexpensive. Very convenient location. A hassle-free stay at this lovely hotel.

The hotel is old but reasonable maintained. However the bath area is in urgent need for refurbishment/renovation - hand bidet holder is loose, WC takes ages to refill after a flush. For a claimed 5-star hotel: one will be hard-pressed to find toilet tissue that is any thinner, only 1 tissue box, the mattress is old and sunken giving poor back support, TV only 40-inch. One plus point is that their electrical switch controls have been wired well, unlike some hotels where it is totally confusing.

The shower in our room looked like it had not been cleaned for a year!

Front Desk Staff is the best thing about this hotel, front desk changed our room within an hour upon our complaint about noise and smell etc… We tried the Golf course and Tennis which was quite expensive and the equiptment rental is in a bad state. The resort should definately invest in getting new clubs and racquets. The qym is pretty dated aswell. Also the ladies at the Golf-House were rude to my girlfriend. But besides that, quite cool resort
