Our stay at Palazzotto Residence and Winery was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, Irene made us feel welcome with her warmth and hospitality. She greeted us with glasses of wine and snacks on the beautiful patio, which was such a fthoughtful and memorable touch after a long day of travel. She then showed us to our apartment, and we were genuinely blown away. The space was huge, beautifully designed, spotless, and comfortable. It had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was another highlight. The ladies serving breakfast were so kind and welcoming, and there was a wonderful variety of foods to choose from. Everything felt fresh and high quality. Finally, checkout was easy and straightforward, making the entire experience seamless from beginning to end. The service and hospitality here truly stand out. Everyone made us feel genuinely cared for, and it was one of the most enjoyable and memorable stays of our trip to Italy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Matera.

Minha experiência no Il Palazzotto Residence & Winery foi marcada por pontos positivos, mas também por algumas ressalvas importantes. O hotel tem uma construção realmente encantadora, no estilo caverna típico de Matera, o que torna a estadia única e cheia de charme. A localização é excelente, com fácil acesso às principais atrações, e o fato do carro chegar até o hotel facilita bastante, especialmente na logística de chegada e saída. Apesar disso, senti falta de alguns itens simples que fariam diferença no conforto do quarto, como um espelho de corpo inteiro, algo que poderia ser incluído sem interferir na arquitetura. O quarto conta apenas com um espelho pequeno e a iluminação é limitada, o que dificulta um pouco no dia a dia. Outro ponto a considerar é o banheiro, que segue um conceito mais aberto e integrado ao quarto, com pouca privacidade: tanto o vaso sanitário quanto o box ficam expostos no ambiente, o que pode não agradar a todos os hóspedes. Além disso, o serviço deixou a desejar. O atendimento na recepção, especialmente no check-in, é bastante rígido em relação aos horários e pouco flexível. O café da manhã também começa apenas às 8:30 hrs o que pode ser inconveniente para quem viaja cedo ou pretende explorar outras cidades da região, algo muito comum em roteiros por essa parte da Itália. No geral, é um lugar lindíssimo, com grande potencial e uma proposta diferenciada, mas pequenos ajustes na estrutura e, principalmente, no atendimento poderiam elevar significativa
