The staff were great, very accomodating when we ended up having a very late check-in, due to delays at the airport. The location is very convenient for walks to St Peter’s square and the Vatican museum/Sistine chapel, public transport and food options. Reasonable room facilities. The lift to get upstairs to the second floor is small, found it easier to use the stairs.

Our flight was coming in later in the evening. the property manager stayed in touch so that we won’t forfeit our room. This is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel-hotel. Very close to the Vatican like 3-4 blocks. Good restaurants to eat around. We were VERY pleased with the whole property and staff (Rency and Lily) Everyone was enormously helpful. They’re always cleaning the facilities and consistently available for any and all questions and requests. The hotel also offers a small breakfast with coffee, espresso etc and various breads for a small fee. Very close and accessible to everything. You are literally in the middle of Vatican City. Commuting to places is ideal as the public transportations are always on time and plentiful. Thank you for a great stay Vatican Relais Rome!

The property is located within walking distance to the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. The owner and staff, ie Lilly are very helpful and informative. The property is very clean and well maintained.and great value for your money. There is an elevator which helps if you have heavy luggage. Highly recommend.

One block from the vatican, close to good restaurants like the La Locanda di Pietro which became our favorite restaurant and also within walking distance to other places to visit. Clean rooms but on the tighter side which is common by european standard. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is average. It's more than enough for me but I eat very light breakfast. And thanks goodness they have an elevator. They kept our bags until we were ready to leave for our flight late in the afternoon. Will definitely recommend.

Må sige at dette Bed and Breakfast fungerede perfekt for os. Centralt beliggende i forhold til Vatikanet og Roms seværdigheder. Flotte værelser og rengøring hver dag. Tilpas udvalg af morgenmad, der også kan indtages på værelset. Venligt personale, som var opsøgende da vi vare meget forsinkede med flyet. Nem kommunikation gennem WhatsApp. Kan kun anbefale dette sted.

This property is a guest house in a Condo where 2 floors have rooms that belong to Vatican Relais Rome. It does not look like a hotel entrance but a Condo therefore you have to look at door buttons to access the Guest rooms. Rooms are super clean, small, and are serviced everyday. All rooms have a small balcony cute to bring breakfast and eat there. No coffee pot or access to hot water in rooms or a microwave. Breakfast is 7 euros additional fee per person, every morn from 7:30-10:00. Not much a variety but ok for the price. Most of the day there is no access to personal on the front desk but are friendly if and when you are lucky to find staff. Vince was the only one we were ever able to find and he was great and always helpful. Customer service is lacking. The plus, its 7 minutes to Vatican and taxi stop. Many restaurants close by too. Good for a couple but not a family and for a short stay. If you are accustomed to hotel environment, amenities, and hotel front desk service, this place is not for you. Overall a clean place to sleep at the end of the day.

Fantastic hotel right next to the Vatican. Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Parking is available in a garage right next to the hotel. The only thing that could be improved is all the single-use cups and glasses for breakfast and a larger breakfast selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel

This is NOT a hotel. It is an apartment style hostel! It is overpriced, cramped, and was a complete misrepresentation. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Vatican Relais Rome delivered on all fronts. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well-informed thanks to proactive and thoughtful communication. The room was immaculate, charming, and quiet—perfect for a restful night after a day exploring the city. And what a location! We could stroll to the Vatican in just a few minutes and also access the metro and nearby shops with ease. Every detail—from the amenities to the value offered—was cohesive, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very well located, we were a bit scared once we got to the building but it surprised us. Rooms were super clean, renovated and comfortable. Best part, the AC worked which is hard to find in time. Totally recommended

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was dirty old small and dark. The staff was not helpful and I wound Never recommend this hotel to anyone. The beds were uncomfortable and old and overall disgusting. This ruined my trip.

It was small, the people were nice. Clogged drain with a bird's nest of hair that I had to remove after "room cleaning". Makes me wonder if they cleaned the shower. Breakfast was fair. Location was good, they called a cab for us and did let us set bags up there due to early arrival. Overall medium.

Muito bem localizado se for ficar região Vaticano , mas para min foi melhor ficar na região Phanteion….sai 9 horas do quarto pedi e coloquei targets Cleam Room mas 17 horas ao retornar nada havia sido efetuado …. Ofereceram limpeza neste horário mas recusei pois estava retornando para descansar para jantar , além disto closet mínimo de tamanho , coloquei a mala parte superior e ao retira-lá estava imunda ….

I stayed with my family for three nights and we had a very pleasant experience. The room was a very good size for 3 people, really quiet, with comfortable beds and a minibar with cold drinks at better prices than in the mini markets, basically, it had everything we needed to have a good rest after a strenuous day walking around Rome. The hotel is extremely close to Vatican City and there is a metro station a few streets away, the area is safe to walk around even at night, and there are many restaurants with authentic Italian food and honest prices nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they waited for our late arrival, recommended places to eat, stored our luggage for a couple of hours after the check-out, and called a taxi for us. Vatican Relais Rome was a great place to stay, I absolutely recommend it!

This is a very nice small hotel, which is about 4-5 min walk from the Vatican. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As you can imagine there are plenty of places to eat nearby given how close it is to the Vatican. The rooms are very typical size for Europe, so do not expect Marriott size rooms. The rooms are clean and have good A/C. We had a queen and twin, so it was tight, but manageable . The breakfast was typical European continental, no one in our group complained. I recommend it for a 3-4 night stay.

This property is located on a tiny street. Our taxi dropped us off across the intersection and we needed to ask for directions. Once inside it is clean and charming. The room was very small but it had a nice balcony which we sat on to enjoy some of the old architecture in the area. We also enjoyed the bottle of wine that was provided. Delicious. and the bathroom was beautiful. The bed was comfortable but about 12 inches from the wall on my side. The continental breakfast had some delicious pastries and cake. Espresso and cappuccino machine. Orange juice, milk and cereal and yogurt and cold meats and cheeses. Would stay here again

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The mattresses are worn out and dip down in center 4". They only have twin beds. To make 1 larger bed, they push 2 twins together so you end up with two beds with dips in each side. The center is very hard. We didn't sleep at all as mattresses are heavily worn. They advertised 24 hour shuttle. What they mean is they will arrange for an uber. However, our flight was changed and we needed to be at the airport earlier. When I asked to change shuttle they said no. We decided to book the uber ourselves (2 hours before original uber they booked). They told us we could not cancel. I explained that we had to be at the airport earlier and were getting an uber on our own. Then said we had to pay anyway. Understand they do not provide the shuttle...they simply arrange it and customer pays to uber direct - it's not free shuttle service. We refused to pay them for uber we didn't use and an asian man called me names and was rude. At check-in we were a few hours early and our room was not ready. They kept our bags at the check-in counter and put bags in our room when ready. When we returned we discovered cash was missing from a bag. If you are expecting a "typical US type hotel", avoid this place. It is more of a youth hostel vibe. But my biggest complaint is if your business is providing a place to sleep, you should have a decent mattress. The staff were great, very accomodating when we ended up having a very late check-in, due to delays at the airport. The location is very convenient for walks to St Peter’s square and the Vatican museum/Sistine chapel, public transport and food options. Reasonable room facilities. The lift to get upstairs to the second floor is small, found it easier to use the stairs.

We stayed 3 nights and the staff was very accommodating to us and arranged transportation for us on 4 occasions. They left plenty of information on a table in our room. I did not notice that we were provided a free bottle of sparkling wine until I read the information on the 3rd day. We enjoyed it that night! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near the Vatican. It is a short walk to a nearby metro station, as well. The staff were all friendly and professional.

What was unique was it was the most expensive hotel room of our trip, but we were treated worse there than any other hotel. The room was not ready at the time that was advertised, so we had to wait elsewherw an hour although we were exhausted from trip. Hotel would not give us option for breakfast. Receptionist was unfriendly, unaccommodating & very controlling.

The staff were amazing, went above and beyond every step of the way. This location is perfect for vatican tours and is a 30 min walk to the other popular sites around Rome. Could not be happier with this place. The owner even personally helped us with printing documents and preparing for the second part of our trip.

This property is located on a tiny street. Our taxi dropped us off across the intersection and we needed to ask for directions. Once inside it is clean and charming. The room was very small but it had a nice balcony which we sat on to enjoy some of the old architecture in the area. We also enjoyed the bottle of wine that was provided. Delicious. and the bathroom was beautiful. The bed was comfortable but about 12 inches from the wall on my side. The continental breakfast had some delicious pastries and cake. Espresso and cappuccino machine. Orange juice, milk and cereal and yogurt and cold meats and cheeses. Would stay here again

The hotel is situated on a side street about 10 minutes walk from the Vatican. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a no frills continental type but plentiful enough. Rooms were functional and had a balcony with a small table and chairs which was a bonus. Overall ideal for our needs

Our flight was coming in later in the evening. the property manager stayed in touch so that we won’t forfeit our room. This is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel-hotel. Very close to the Vatican like 3-4 blocks. Good restaurants to eat around. We were VERY pleased with the whole property and staff (Rency and Lily) Everyone was enormously helpful. They’re always cleaning the facilities and consistently available for any and all questions and requests. The hotel also offers a small breakfast with coffee, espresso etc and various breads for a small fee. Very close and accessible to everything. You are literally in the middle of Vatican City. Commuting to places is ideal as the public transportations are always on time and plentiful. Thank you for a great stay Vatican Relais Rome!

It was small, the people were nice. Clogged drain with a bird's nest of hair that I had to remove after "room cleaning". Makes me wonder if they cleaned the shower. Breakfast was fair. Location was good, they called a cab for us and did let us set bags up there due to early arrival. Overall medium.

This is a very nice small hotel, which is about 4-5 min walk from the Vatican. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As you can imagine there are plenty of places to eat nearby given how close it is to the Vatican. The rooms are very typical size for Europe, so do not expect Marriott size rooms. The rooms are clean and have good A/C. We had a queen and twin, so it was tight, but manageable . The breakfast was typical European continental, no one in our group complained. I recommend it for a 3-4 night stay.

We absolutely loved everything about the space. We were delayed for our trip due to flight issues and they were super accommodating to us arriving later than expected. The morning breakfast they offered was quaint and very nice. The location couldn’t have been better, being minutes from the Vatican tours entrance and right around the corner from St. Peter’s Basilica. Plenty of options for food and drink as well. We had a cute wraparound balcony as well.

O quarto é bem diferente do anunciado. O quarto era minusculo mas funcional. O Café da manha somente o básico. A localização é muito boa. Você abre a porta e se precisar de assistencia depois das 20.30 somente por telefone, pois não tem portaria.
O quarto é bem diferente do anunciado. O quarto era minusculo mas funcional. O Café da manha somente o básico. A localização é muito boa. Você abre a porta e se precisar de assistencia depois das 20.30 somente por telefone, pois não tem portaria.

Fantastic hotel right next to the Vatican. Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Parking is available in a garage right next to the hotel. The only thing that could be improved is all the single-use cups and glasses for breakfast and a larger breakfast selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Loved the location near the Vatican , walkable . Food near by . Pleasure to have met lily she was a wonderful person. The hotel room were great . Just wished they had coffee in the morning .

The staff was excellent! The room was cleaned and the bed was made on a timely basis. The shops were very close by to pick up last minute souvenirs. If I were to go back to Rome, I will definitely consider staying there again :)

The rooms were so clean. The hotel is in close walking distance to all restaurants and attraction. I would highly recommend.

Our room was really small, we could barely walk around, bathroom was very small (although very clean with high quality fixture). No kettle, no iron board in our room, I had to request a kettle. It has great location, 7 minutes walking to vatican. One staff was waiting for us at 8 pm for checkin, always nice to checkin with real person. Overall an OK stay, not great.

Nice place to stay in Rome. Clean, quiet, walking distance to St. Peter Basilica. Very nice receptionists. Traveling with family, there are two rooms that can combine. I recommend!
