Stayed here 1 night between flying in to San Jose airport and driving to our final destination in Jaco. They offered free shuttle service from airport, and to car rental facility. Super friendly staff, and delicious breakfast offered. Would stay here again if we return to San Jose.

Elizabeth at the front desk was so helpful and cheerful to make my short stay wonderful. Transportation to the airport was included. Great recommendations including a delightful Colombian restaurant around the corner with well made typical meals.

Very helpful and polite staff who also picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night. Very nice breakfast. Main (and only) downside (or advantage?) is that the hotel is so close to the airport that you can hear any airplane taking off (which starts around 4:30 am in the night), so if you are noise-sensitive, this is not your place.

This place is conveniently located near the airport and it was above our expectations. Very clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast, free shuttle from airport and friendly staff. We would consider booking it again for our next trip.

We loved this place! The staff were so friendly and helpful! The best part really, our flight was 2 hours late, coming in at 2am, we were very tired, and getting the shuttle for pick up with clear videos on where to meet etc was helpful, and the staff helped with luggage all the way into the room. Breakfast was good and bed comfortable. We will use this service again!

Its as advertised. Excellent service, breakfast, free shuttle, wofi, courtyard eiith beautiful trees and seating areas. Close to the airport so you will hear aircraft but worth the proximity. Very cute resident dog

Comfortable and clean rooms with a cozy outdoor area to sit. Breakfast was more than I expected - wonderful continental spread in a lovely, relaxed setting. Because we had an early flight, we were even given a couple of “to go” breakfast options! We really appreciated the prompt communication and shuttle service to and from the airport. I’m glad we didn’t have to drive in their heavy rush hour traffic. Jolanda is an excellent hostess and driver! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Da sich die Unterkunft mitten in San José und in der Nähe des Flughafens befindet, wird es sehr laut, wenn ein Flugzeug startet. Auch der Verkehr ist zu hören.

It is close to car hire companies so were able to walk there to collect car. Breakfast was great. Good selection and lots of coffee. Restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

Nice place close to airport. Rooms are basic and no AC. It it was cool when I arrived. They picked me up from airport at 12:30am for free and dropped me back in the morning. Breakfast was really nice.

We stayed here because our flight got in late afternoon and we were traveling the next day several hours to our destination. It was easy to find. The owner was very nice and welcoming. We were able to fit our rental car behind her gate so that it was safe. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but it's not the best of neighborhoods. What I did not realize was there is no air conditioning there, so it was hot. There were two tower fans in the room to help. The shower was lukewarm at best but doable. The best part of the stay was the breakfast the next morning. Honestly, the best Gallo pinto I had the whole trip.

The property is basically a home with rooms available for guests, more a guest house than a hotel. I chose it because there was a free shuttle to and from the airport. The shuttle turned out to be their private car, and they did pick me up and drop me off. The house was very nice, with various special touches. For example, I appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom. They provide breakfast, but if you are leaving earlier, they prepare a bag for you to take along, with a little food and a drink. The only problem for me was communication, since I do not know Spanish. But the friend who was with me did, so it was not in fact a problem.

We stayed here for only 1 night. This place is located very close to the airport. The room was clean but it was noisy--you can hear traffic passing by on the street. The parking area is very small and very tight. The staff are friendly but check-in was very inconvenient. They lock the front door at night so if you check-in late you have to call the front desk to have someone let you in. We arrived after 3 am from the airport and almost left because we couldn't check in. Luckily I had cell service and was able to call them in order to get in. But most tourists wouldn't have cell service or wifi.

Elizabeth and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure that our time with them was safe and convienient. Despite the fact that our plane was delayed multiple times and we ended up coming in at a VERY unhappy hour, they gave us a shuttle from the airport, which is quite close, and also provided a breakfast in advance of our early departure. A solid place run by real people who are generous and sincere. Our thanks, Elizabeth and Daniel!

Very helpful and polite staff who also picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night. Very nice breakfast. Main (and only) downside (or advantage?) is that the hotel is so close to the airport that you can hear any airplane taking off (which starts around 4:30 am in the night), so if you are noise-sensitive, this is not your place.

We stayed here because our flight got in late afternoon and we were traveling the next day several hours to our destination. It was easy to find. The owner was very nice and welcoming. We were able to fit our rental car behind her gate so that it was safe. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but it's not the best of neighborhoods. What I did not realize was there is no air conditioning there, so it was hot. There were two tower fans in the room to help. The shower was lukewarm at best but doable. The best part of the stay was the breakfast the next morning. Honestly, the best Gallo pinto I had the whole trip.

We stayed here for only 1 night. This place is located very close to the airport. The room was clean but it was noisy--you can hear traffic passing by on the street. The parking area is very small and very tight. The staff are friendly but check-in was very inconvenient. They lock the front door at night so if you check-in late you have to call the front desk to have someone let you in. We arrived after 3 am from the airport and almost left because we couldn't check in. Luckily I had cell service and was able to call them in order to get in. But most tourists wouldn't have cell service or wifi.

The property was difficult to find even with directions, but a phone call helped guide us. The food is either delivered to the property or you can walk the almost 1km to a small variety of local pizza and local fare shops. Access is through a back alley of multiple fenced yards which is a bit intimidating especially in the dark, but we felt safe. The owner was very accommodating and professional and met every expectation as listed about the property. The bagged breakfast was adequate and fresh (as we left too early for the included breakfast) but nothing to get excited about. Transportation was provided as stated and on time. No complaints!!

Very convenient coming from the airport, easy to use their shuttle service. Wonderful Christmas lights all around the property, breakfast in the morning was pretty standard for Costa Rica, tasty beans and rice, plantains and fruits. Airplanes overhead are a bit loud but that is to be expected so close to the airport.

It was exactly as advertised. Elisabeth is very sweet and made sure everything went to plan. I had a very early morning departure and she arranged my shuttle, and even sent me off with a breakfast sandwich. Great value and I will definitely be back!

Stayed here for one night before heading for the mountains. Collection from the airport was great. The properry is clean and showers warm. The property has a unique character. It is close to car hire companies so were able to walk there to collect car. Breakfast was great. Good selection and lots of coffee. Restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

We loved this place! The staff were so friendly and helpful! The best part really, our flight was 2 hours late, coming in at 2am, we were very tired, and getting the shuttle for pick up with clear videos on where to meet etc was helpful, and the staff helped with luggage all the way into the room. Breakfast was good and bed comfortable. We will use this service again!

Wonderful place! Very clean, beautiful garden, great breakfast, free shuttle to the airport. Very accomodating and friendly staff. We will definitely come back whenever reach again Alajuela and/or need a great place near SJO airport. Highly reccomended.

Water from tap in bathroom was not much more than a trickle, but the shower was ok. Just one overhead light in room so it was difficult to read in bed and the liggt switch was by the door so i had to get out if bed to switch it off
