I had a very comfortable stay at JR East Hotel Mets Tachikawa. The location is excellent and being directly connected to Tachikawa Station makes it extremely convenient for travel, shopping, and dining. Everything you need is within walking distance. The room was clean, quiet, and well organized. Even though it’s near the station, it felt peaceful at night and I was able to rest well. The staff were professional and efficient during check-in and check-out, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. Overall, this hotel offers great convenience and solid comfort at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the Tachikawa area.

Great location for solo travel in the winter and rainy season, because this hotel is very close to JR Tachikawa station which has a connecting way to the ecute shopping centre and station. I took a bus from Haneda Airport, very easy and cost me £2000. My room was very nice and clean. They have amenity that you can collect it for free, also there’s coffee machine and cup by the reception. They kindly keep my small suitcase inside their office before and after check-in so I could go out without suitcase. I booked my room including breakfast, there are 3 cafe options and I chose to have my breakfast at Yamamoto Yama which is Japanese breakfast by a popularJapanese traditional food brand (nori/seaweed). Following the hotel breakfast system, I have 1000 yen budget. I had a today’s special budget menu “seaweed rice in a bowl with special tea to add to the rice. They came with a few toppings. Absolutely delicious! There other 2 cafes are bakery with delicious French and Japanese styles bread. I went to the bakery to get some Japanese bread (anpan and curry bread) for my snacks. They are delicious and special too. My check in was quick and very welcoming. Thank you so much Suzuki-san. He was really helpful and friendly. I’m thinking to add a few more nights before I go back to England. Tachikawa area is much quieter than Tokyo city. But, around this hotel there are a few big department stores (Lumine, Isetan etc). I had a great sleep. Many thanks.
