The hotel was VERY close to the athletic field for CMU. Parking was great and there were places to eat there were walkable from the hotel as well.

We booked this hotel so we could enjoy the pool and hot tub. No one mentioned it was closed early that day. And the gentalman at check thought it was funny apparently because of his comments and gestures. My room was nicely decorated but bed was very uncomfortable, and shower was moldy.

Really liked the hotel, however one of the reasons we choose this one was because it had a pool and hot tub. We were not made aware that the pool heater was broke so the kids could not enjoy the pool. Hot tub was very tinny so very little amount of people could be in there at a time. The suite room was very night but the fridge was very very small and had no shelves in it so we couldn’t really use the fridge other than to put 4 drinks total in it at a time. Thankfully we did have a suite because we were able to set everything we wanted cold out on the balcony. The employees were very friendly. Over all I’d recommend

Place looked Brand New! I had to ask how long it had been there (6 years!). Staff was kind and had a great sense of humor. Very large gathering area when you walk in. Pool is nice, good size, with hot tub on the side. Fitness room looked large and very accommodating for those who do that sort of thing. (lol) Room was still like new. Rooms did not feel cramped. Firmer beds, but comfortable. Nice larger bathroom. HVAC easy to use and quiet. Would stay again.

Room has obvious mouse activity. Front desk notified. Nothing was done. Shower had mildew. Towels were thin. Pillow had odor of dirty hair. Lobby Starbucks had thick layer of dust on the upper counter.

Looks like the shower liner was moldy on the bottom so instead of putting in a new one they simple cut of the bottom of the liner. The liner was way too short now to keep the water in and the floor would get soaked.

I did not like that there seemed no expectation of house keeping during the two days that we were there. We had to order towels the second day, because we realized that there would be no attempt to come clean the room. If we had been informed at that outset that the room would not be cleaned, we might have tried to keep our towels fresher. We have stayed there before--for only one day--and this had not been an issue for us. They are the BEST hotel in that area, so we're happy for them, but they should have made it crystal clear that no housekeeping services would be available for a two-day stay.

Enter our room only to see a very dirty rag hanging in shower. Requested a balcony room facing football stadium. We got a a balcony facing main road with very loud traffic. Stayed 2 nights in Owosso and had a bed much more comfortable then the 300.00 one night stay here. I also think hospital beds are much better lol.

This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that I didn’t wake up congested. It had absolutely no smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms were very nicely finished and very clean.

Wi Fi wouldn’t work for Fire Stick and wouldn’t allow many downloads on my iPhone. Was told only way to access internet was via browser but the link to browser wouldn’t work. Also Bistro had listed hours of operation on the hotel tv as 7am-11am on weekends but we were told at 10:30am they were only open until 10am.

Our stay here was not comfortable, The coffee pot was broken in our room there wasn't any toilet paper in our bathroom and the beds felt like a slab of cement! They did manage to get us another coffee pot and bring us toilet paper around midnight. And being a Marriott your beds should be your highest priority. We could have at least been able to sleep .

The king size bed was rock hard and pillows were flat. Additionally, CMU decided to have band practice at 6:30am right outside the window. I realize that’s not the hotels fault but a little thought/warning/or additional accommodations would be appreciated. Will not return and wouldn’t recommend based on awful beds. Only perk was Starbucks in the lobby.

Booked with noon check in, verified day of trip it was still ok. We arrive and told sorry room isn’t ready come back around 3 or 4pm. I explained we had an event to get ready for and that be well after the event. They said oh well, room will not be ready they haven’t cleaned it yet. I told him 3 or 4pm will be too late to make our event , what are we supposed to do now after verifying it’s ok and driving here. He replied not sure, but If you want the room I’d go walk around target few hours and come back.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times as my daughter goes to college there, but I want to give a special mention to one of the employees at the front desk, Alexis, for accommodating me for a medical emergency! She was outstanding with my situation! Very clean and comfortable hotel with fantastic staff! I highly recommend

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. However, I didn’t get a wink of sleep because of loud music playing all night. I finally got fed up and called the front desk around 4am and they said they’d come upstairs but I never heard from them again and the music continued. I realized several hours later that it was the hotels patio music playing unreasonably loud ALL NIGHT LONG that caused me to not get one minutes sleep all night. VERY disappointed in the lack of follow through from the staff and also annoyed that they play music on the patio 24hr when there are rooms directly above it.

My daughter had freshmen orientation coming up and it was pretty early in the morning. With us living 2 hours away, we decided to book a hotel room on campus for the night before. I never have any issues with Hotels.com, and I usually don't have any issues with checking in at hotels...that is, until now. Whoever the young man with the top hat who checked us in was rude and extremely unprofessional. After a long day of working and momming, he made what should have been a quick and easy check-in, an aggrevating, awkward and unnecessarily long process. I was really looking forward to staying here when we came to visit my daughter but that interaction really put a bad taste in my mouth.

Our stay was amazing here. Staff was friendly when we arrived. Drinks were good at the bar. Our room was spacious and very clean. Liked the hotel shampoo. My husband and I stayed here for a concert and this was the best place we have stayed so far. Definitely will be staying here again!

We got in fairly late and it was just a one night stay, so we weren’t able to make us of anything other than the beds. There is no breakfast included.
