Nice view of Mount Fuji. Very helpful staff, despite their limited English, they used Google Translate. They still use actual keys for the rooms, it's lovely. Their beautiful outdoor onsen is clean and covered in case it rains. Very small rooms, but comfortable.

So clean and comfortable. Near fujiq highland park and about 10min walk to mt Fuji station where you can also take bus to station 5. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms where clean and comfortable and the onsen are clean and beautiful

自駕遊方便，有足夠位置泊車，但落車後需要行一段小路才到酒店門口，其實酒店門口亦有停車場，但或許是預留給到吃燒肉的客人使用，所以未能提供給住宿的客人。酒店鄰近富士吉田、富士急，想要去富士吉田Starbucks/麥當勞同樣方便。鄰近亦有不同食店可選擇。建築設計一項便知有歷史歲月痕跡，但是有翻新過所以還可以接受。房匙是實體，同時會有多一條如果在晚上特定時間需要出門，需要自己用鎖匙開啟酒店大門。指定時間大堂是沒有職員在此，記得入住請準時，不要太晚到達。溫泉泡湯男女士分開的，只有一個池，當晚享用另有一家估計是奶奶、女兒、跟女兒初出生約半歲的手抱孩童。一樓大堂更設有護膚品可自取，大概這種風氣已是日本酒店通用。房間正常大小，幸運的是安排到可看富士山全景及富士急遊樂園的風景，這個價錢真的物超所值。

The rooms need a big update, a lot of dust, very small - the pictures shared in Hotels.com don't represent it. Also the room smell cigarette. People were very friendly.

The location of the hotel was great in terms of being a walkable distance from Fuji-Q if you plan on going. The area was super quiet and peaceful, but quite dark so have light while walking at night would be handy. There are lots of great dining options around the area to walk to and convenience store quite close as well. The hotel itself was great overall and I didn’t have any complaints. It is still quite a small room, but not as small as some standard rooms in the bigger cities. The onset included in the stay was also very nice to experience and relax in.

Schone kamer, wel wat gehorig als je drukke buren hebt in de kamer naast je. De service was uitstekend, we werden goed geholpen met al onze vragen en zijn vriendelijk ontvangen. Woensdag avond probeerden we onze vervolgreis naar Kyoto uit te zoeken, maar kwamen er heel moeilijk uit. We zijn naar de receptie gelopen en hebben om hulp gevraagd, de meneer die daar aanwezig was heeft ons enorm geholpen waardoor we een stresloze reis tegemoet kunnen gaan. Heel fijn! De kamer is iets kleiner dan wat we vooraf hadden verwacht, maar precies groot genoeg om 2 nachtjes te blijven en de omgeving te verkennen. Het water in de douche blijft niet consistent dezelfde temperatuur, dat is misschien het enige negatieve van de kamer. Er was thee en een waterkoker aanwezig in de kamer, dat was heel fijn. De omgeving vonden wij prachtig, maar wat tegenvallen bertreft activiteiten.

Das Zimmer war sehr sehr klein und wirklich alt. Das Zimmer inkl. Handtüchern etc. Waren leider muffig und obwohl das Bad echt in Ordnung war hat uns der Gesamtzustand leider nicht gefallen. Eine Art Tagesdecke wurde als Bettdecke verwendet, die Fenster sind komplett undicht und man kann nicht einmal einen normalen Koffer öffnen. Kleine Zimmer in Japan sind normal, aber das war für unseren Geschmack insgesamt einfach nicht in Ordnung. Die Nähe zum Mount Fuji ist super, wir waren jedoch froh nur eine Nacht dort gewesen zu sein. Schade!

Enjoyed the free amenities for Women in the lobby, Japanese breakfast and the outdoor bath. The room we stayed in was relatively large and had a great view of Mt. Fuji. The staff members were extremely helpful despite the language barrier.

ちょっと外の車の音が聞こえるけど、後は全く問題ない。凄く綺麗だし、スタッフも親切丁寧、余計な干渉は無くとても居心地が良かったです。

The hotel is cute & the staff is amazing. If you’re touring and do not speak Japanese be ready to use a translator. The restaurant in the hotel is AMAZING! The bakery down the street is the BEST! The staff here is what I think made this hotel well worth it & the room is actually nice as well.

Receptionists are so nice they are kindly to show the check in process via their tablet which translated to your languages. Actually they can communicate with English. It is easy to access Kawaguchiko and Oshino Hakkai. The environment so nice and the publice hot spring is so nice. The breakfast is so delicious and fresh. I love this hotel will recommend to others.

This was a wonderful stay, the staff were super friendly, the breakfast was so good, and the area was nearby a lot of good walking spots. Wherever you were you could see Mount Fuji. Would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to rest and walk.

This was a wonderful stay, the staff were super friendly, the breakfast was so good, and the area was nearby a lot of good walking spots. Wherever you were you could see Mount Fuji. Would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to rest and walk.

The location of the hotel was great in terms of being a walkable distance from Fuji-Q if you plan on going. The area was super quiet and peaceful, but quite dark so have light while walking at night would be handy. There are lots of great dining options around the area to walk to and convenience store quite close as well. The hotel itself was great overall and I didn’t have any complaints. It is still quite a small room, but not as small as some standard rooms in the bigger cities. The onset included in the stay was also very nice to experience and relax in.

So clean and comfortable. Near fujiq highland park and about 10min walk to mt Fuji station where you can also take bus to station 5. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms where clean and comfortable and the onsen are clean and beautiful

Great hôtel for visiting Fuji-q Highland and the Mont Fuji ! Delicious restaurant and very nice staff. We had a great view on the Japanese garden entrance as well as Fuji Q Highland. Thank you for everything!

Awesome little place, they have a binder with english instructions ready for you to read upon check in. It's a rather small hotel, so not a lot of noise nor people. The onsen was perfect (I was alone the whole time) and the japanese breakfast was amazing. I woke up earlier than anticipated and they accepted to move up my breakfast time that i chose the day before. They don't speak much English, but they are happy to help even without understanding right away.

Receptionists are so nice they are kindly to show the check in process via their tablet which translated to your languages. Actually they can communicate with English. It is easy to access Kawaguchiko and Oshino Hakkai. The environment so nice and the publice hot spring is so nice. The breakfast is so delicious and fresh. I love this hotel will recommend to others.

I stayed at Hotel Fuji Tatsugaoka for two nights in early 2026 as a base for visiting Fuji-Q Highland and exploring the Fuji Five Lakes area. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. 10 min. Walking distace from the park. Room was clean, small but this is typical from japan so it was not a problem, onsen was nice and relaxing after walking all day. Got a nice view to Mt. Fuji which luckily i had a clear view. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful check in and check out was quick and without trouble. If i come back surely ill book again.

Great room with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Within walking distance from convenience stores, transport and tourist destinations. Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly too.

It's a lovely hotel situated within a 10 minute stroll of both the station and FujiQ theme park. As a bonus it boasts a view of Mount Fuji as well. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, although the reception staff did not speak English, they used an app to communicate and were extremely helpful in sorting out the wifi when we couldn't get connected. The restaurant is very nice but closes a little early for my liking. It was also fully booked for breakfast so we had to find an alternative place for that. The guy on reception recommended a cafe just up the road that was perfect, so that was great. The onsite onsen is also lovely, it's quite small but provides a nice calm area to relax after a busy day. They also provide a microwave and water cooler for customer use which is great if you're on a budget. There is a huge supermarket just up the road and we took advantage of buying some dinner there and eating in our room. All in all, it's a lovely hotel that I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

Hotel muy bien en general, el problema es que no esta tan bien comunicado y es algo viejito, pero esta en excelentes condiciones. No pude acceder al desayunno porque ya estaba "lleno" pero nunca vi a nadie comiendo, por lo que es recomendable comprar desde que se hace la reserva.
