Beautiful hotel and rooms. Very picturesque setting. Local access to the bus and lake passenger boat. We were half board, however we found the evening set menu not always to our taste and there was no choice. Staff were very attentive.

We stayed at this hotel for one night at the end of May and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a large and secure parking area, which made our arrival easy and stress-free. Our room was very spacious and seemed to be one of the largest rooms on the floor. The standard was perfectly good, although some parts of the hotel felt a little dated. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and professional—from the reception team to the breakfast staff. The bartender, waiters, and restaurant staff all provided excellent service. A special touch was seeing the chef walk around the dining room, smiling, chatting with guests, and making sure everyone was enjoying their meal. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of high-quality options. Dinner was equally impressive: a delicious four-course meal featuring local ingredients, all included in the room rate. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations. The gardens, swimming pool, and surrounding grounds were absolutely beautiful and created a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for money. Between the spacious room, excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and genuinely exceptional service, it felt like a real bargain. We would happily stay here again.

I chose the Hôtel Les Grillons based on nothing more than a quick web search and ratings. Always risky but it seemed like a good bet. I couldn't have been happier. The room was very nice, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and the food?!!! Wow, reason enough to stay there. I can't wait to go back again and soon.
