Modern design apartment near Acropolis

Everything was good except the number of available parking spots. You’ll have to be prepared to drive around and look for a while to find one, the streets are crammed.

Walking distance to the acropolis, and plaka area. The metro is about 4-5 mins walk. The apartment is spacious, but the bathroom is due for an upgrade.

I was going between a 3 and a 4 but felter a 4 is fairer as it ticks the right boxes for a city break. Location wise the property is pretty well suited. It is just 7 minutes easy walk to the Acropolis and Plaka. There are plenty of great restaurants on the way there too. The Acropolis metro station is around 5 minutes walk and there is also a bus stop right outside. Other sites are also not too far and public transport is cheap and reliable. There is a nice artisan supermarket diagonally across the road, we shopped here most nights (they are open till 11pm). Plenty of other options nearby. There is also a nice bakery directly across the road. The property itself is on the first floor. There is a small lift if you're unable to climb the stairs. Handy the first and last days for cases. The property seems very secure with a good sturdy door and lock. The beds were extremely large and comfortable (one of the best sleeps I've had anywhere) and the air conditioning seems decent. The blackout shutters are also awesome, again best we've had anywhere, room is pitch black if closed fully. Nice big fridge freezer and plenty of kitchen utensils. Shower not too powerful but warm enough. We did have some issues with chairs coming apart and handles being loose on several doors. The road is also busy with some noise but doubt you'll find anywhere quiet in Athens, we all slept fine. Communication from the owner we excellent, very quick to respond.

The apartment was in a great location, walkable to acropolis, dining and shops. Cute, clean, and the washer/dryer was a nice surprise.
