This is our 2nd visit to The JW Grand Lakes & we love it. The Breakfast Buffet at Citron is very pricey, but very good! We love the lazy river & the water slides. We will be back!

Only complaint is the pool area. 90 percent of the chairs were empty but had someone’s stuff on them. Shouldn’t be allowed to just hold chairs you aren’t using.

Beautiful hotel. Clean room, excellent air conditioning. Lovely pool area. Our one issue was that the shower leaked horribly. It was leaking at the rubber casing at the bottom of the glass door. Water was all over the bathroom floor and made a huge mess.

The grounds are beautiful. But the condition of the rooms were not. Our first room had apparently just had the carpets cleaned. Smelled terrible and carpets were literally wet. Not just a little. We were there to relax before a week of work. When we complained they put us in another room but there was zero compensation for our inconvenience. We had a lot of luggage had unpacked a bit already since we didn’t discover the carpets were wet until we came back from dinner and took off our shoes. (We were going to live with the smell and thought the a/c would clear it up. ). Said that wasn’t good enough and they offered us another room with better view. Got to the room with all our luggage and discovered the room didn’t have a tub which is a deal breaker and not the room we ordered. Went back down and after the manager came out and did “something in the back” we were out in another room with better view. But this room too had issues! No light fixture on the desk as was in all of the previous rooms. Fire alarm hanging off the wall. At these prices and it’s a JW Marriott?! Not acceptable. But we’d been through enough and stayed. For all this….they gave us a $100 credit……That’s not even 10% off of what we paid to stay there. Never again. They’ve forgotten that they’re in the hospitality business.

Fantastic Property with wonderful customer service. The outside amenities are absolutely gorgeois and we enjoyed the restaurants on property as well. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and you can tell that they take cleanliness serious. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was absolutely stunning and the pool as well. Unfortunately r had a terrible experience with our room as it smelt of sewage and had a terrible odor the entire trip. The maintenance tried various times to fix it and was unsuccessful

The property is beautiful, especially the pool area. It is kid friendly and spacious. The suites are also spacious and have an amazing view. It is up to date and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My only complaints are that no one answers when calling guest services, and there is no room service menu or even a QR code to search for it. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Beautiful hotel and property! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Only drawback was that the Shuttle to the parks runs on a limited schedule so you either have to plan around their times or find alternative transportation which can add up. We loved our stay and highly recommend this stunning hotel!! Miss it already.

Beautiful Hotel perfect to visit area attractions, structure is amazing in a wonderful park with a lot of amenities, swimming pool, tennis and picketball pitches. Room are big and modern. Inside you have some restaurant to eat from breakfast to late night.

Our stay during Labor Day Holiday was overall great with a few hiccups. Hotel is nice and well maintained. Rooms feel recently renovated and the interior design is very good. Check-in was easy, fast and professional. Hotel overall was clean despite the amount of guests. The fireworks were exceptional and something we hadn’t experienced at the Four Seasons Orlando. The property and grounds along with the Ritz Carlton are beautiful with good landscaping. The room robes have the best quality we’ve felt and we loved them. The TV size was excellent for our room. Elevators were fast, we never felt it took them long. Things we didn’t like: it seems there’s no good insulation in the rooms as we could hear water running in the bathroom from other rooms and babies crying next door. Lobby bar felt overwhelmed, service was slow and missed essential things like napkins and silverware when bringing food. Lunch at the pool restaurant was a disappointment, we ordered 4 hamburgers and after 1h20 and 2 rounds of alcoholic drinks, the order was still in the queue, we ended up cancelling the order and waited for our dinner reservation outside the hotel. It seems as though the F&B team is not able to handle the amount of work when hotel is at capacity. We will definitely come back but not during big holidays and also to try the tennis courts and golf course.

Everything was great resort wise. However, at the whisper Creek farm restaurant inside the JW Marriott service was super slow. I even made a reservation days ahead for 16 people so they would be prepared and they were not. It was a birthday dinner, so somewhat of a special event. Also, some of the food was overcooked, and some of it was undercooked. One table didn’t even get a refill of water. I emailed the concierge about this issue. I even wrote I’m not expecting anything in return and they still have not replied to me. They made us put a credit card down and told us if a person doesn’t show up. It is $25 charge for each person. I had my 16 people which was the agreement, but they could not handle that amount I guess.

The hotel is connected to Ritz Carlton by a hallway in the most beautiful grounds and surrounding. Great for kids with the best pool . Yes few minutes further to Disney Parks etc... but totally worth it. The only negative was the food in the restaurants. All of them had great ambiance but definitely the chefs and menu must be changed as the food was not good. Very friendly staff. Amazing hotel.

Absolutely beautiful and will be back. Only wish is that their were more food options for kids past 7pm Pool bar served food which was amazing but once they closed we felt their were no reasonable priced options for children. Door dash was an option but we didn’t want to deal with that. Overall our stay was amazing.

This hotel was amazing. So gorgeous. The pool, water slides and lazy river were such a great addition. All the staff was kind and helpful. Our room was always clean. Only negative was the price or the food in the hotel, that being said we liked everything we ate and drank.
