We got upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the water. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The hotel has great food, some interesting dishes with a South American influence. It was very busy but there were plenty of staff, all who were friendly and good at their job. There was complimentary muesli and croissants for breakfast.

was delightfully surprised at this hotel. I have stayed at pub hotels before, but nothing like this. Easy and quick check-in and showed me to my room pointing out all the amenities. Beautiful room with very comfortable bed and spacious. Mini-kitchenette, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. Big TV in the room and it was lovely to have relaxing music playing from it when first entering the room. Parking was no problem in the back of the hotel. I was given some muffins and muesli for breakfast, but decided to have breakfast at a restaurant down the street. The pub had on special for the evening, battered gluten free dory fish, chips, and salad which was delicious. The area is very clean and nice and I hope my plans allow me to visit again in the spring or summer.

A 130 year old 'pub' that has had its room renovated to a very high standard - the hotel won the Australian Award in 2022 for a luxury pub. There are only 9 rooms in the pub (renovated rooms) with an adjoining block on some usual motel rooms. We stayed in room 1 in the hotel - thoroughly recommended Good pub food in the dining room with quick service.

We stayed in one of the motel rooms and it was fabulous in every way. The room was spacious, warm, clean and comfortable, we fell asleep to the sound of waves and woke to a wonderful sea view. Breakfast from Honorbread was a treat and replenished daily. There was attention to detail in so many ways, from the provided beach towels to the spotlessly clean windows. We love how people with a bit of care and vision are transforming older motels into stylish, contemporary spaces that still remain true to their original character and form. Looking forward to our next stay.

We booked a Hotel Classic King Room, Ensuite and upon arrival it occurred that the room was super loud (room #7) as there are AC units right outside the window. We asked for another room and got downgraded to a Motel Room as nothing else was available. It would be totally ok, if the receptionist didn't lie to me about the price difference for these rooms - he said that the Motel Room is more expensive than King Room which is simply not true. The Motel Room was quiet yet the bathroom wasn't as nice and clean as the one in a King Room. The hotel is nicely situated right next to the beach. There are nice coffee shops nearby.

Pros: Modern, clean, well equipped and good location. Cons. Wi-Fi flakey. Bed advertised as ‘Queen’ when it’s two singles pushed together with an uncomfortable ridge down the centre. For price of room that’s not on. We had the worst sited room in the hotel. Under the stairs and stair canopy with a view of the stairs very dark. Room above was noisy and we could hear their toilet habits! Disappointed

We had a one of the Ocean view rooms, highly recommend it. Renovated, lovely room, with small coffee machine. It was beautiful to wake up and have a coffee and croissant on the balcony looking at the ocean. The pub is right downstairs so can be a bit noisy but didn’t bother us at all. The pub is really good with great choice of drinks and good food.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely setting. Our room (15) was spacious with a lovely balcony and views of the sea. It was very clean and parking was onsite. Breakfast provisions were generous with huge croissants and muesli. Staff were great too. Definitely a great place to stay. One minor thing was that the hotel menu for dinner was quite limited. But food was great. Overall fabulous.

Updated and with a little kitchenette, shower wasn’t updated but still clean plus we were surprised by having croissants, jam and granola left for us for breakfast.
