The hotel was chosen because my wife is into Elvis and he was living here during his time in the army. The rooms were very clean and the bedding very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and very good buffet breakfast. All the staff we encountered were smart, helpful, and courteous. A great stay

Should you arrive after 19.00hrs make sure you tell the Hotel. taff was helpful and talked me through the arrival procedure. As I am a senior citizen I found it a little scary trying to find my way. Luckily it was summer time - still daylight - at night I would have been scared. I was under the impression I booked room with Breakfast, but that may have been my mistake. I did not want to pay € 20 for my type of breakfast (1 bread roll, butter and tea) so walked 5 minutes to town and had lovely breakfast - there are many coffee places and all the bakeries offer breakfast at very reasonable prices. Location is perfect, make sure to stroll to the beautiful park right in front of the Hotel.

Beautiful hotel, with Rock & Roll history due to Elvis Presley spending 4 months here during his army service. Plenty food available for breakfast, room was spotless & was cleaned daily. Situated in a quiet area, but even in the room I never heard a sound from any other guests. Staff are very polite & helpful if required.

This hotel definitely does NOT warrant the exceptional ratings posted online (by Elvis fans I suspect). It’s a 7/10 at best. Our room was large but dingy, likely not having had an update in decades. The building itself looks quite grandiose from the outside, however the interior is quite “worn”. The original elevator services some rooms but not all. Ours room had a winding staircase as the only access. Noise is another factor as you can easily hear fellow guests going up and down the stairs, right outside your door. On site parking is VERY limited and tight, not suitable for larger cars or anyone who is not a confident driver. Some street parking is available close by but can be hard to find depending on your arrival time. To summarize, spend your money elsewhere unless you’re a hard core Elvis fan seeking the experience.
