What a beautiful find. This property was originally chosen for the size of the car park as we were driving a van and trailer, needing safe parking. My goodness, the car park is huge. When we entered the hotel, Gary met us. He is so kind and gave us loads of information that was required, also very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the area. We are in the hotel restaurant. The meals were great and £70 for 3 main meals with alcoholic drinks. We then walked about the downstairs area, found a separate bar with pool table and darts. Breakfast was included with our room. At 7am sharp we were again greeted by Gary who served the nicest freshly cooked breakfast and was very attentive. We will definitely return to this property and spend some more time there to explore the area. Thank you Gary and staff for a fantastic stay

Very helpful reception and friendly staff. Family run. Felt welcome. Very dog friendly. The pub/rooms are warm and comfortable. The bar is fairly priced. Breakfast is excellent and generous. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

This is a great small town family run hotel in the best Welsh tradition and it was a pleasure to stay there. The facilities were good and the range of food available was outstanding of high quality and often sourced locally. The management and staff worked with great application and good humour to meet the varied requirements of their guests. The hotel is well situated for access to the open coast and its waymarked paths; for example on an evening walk to the nearby harbour we noted huge moving shoals of mackerel being picked off by Gannets. Highly commended.

Really traditional hotel and pub/restaurant. Food was really good and freshly cooked. Service was excellent I made a bit of a mistake asking for a full English breakfast. Apparently it's Welsh. I couldn't actually tell the difference though. 😁

I stayed here in a family room with my partner, son and dog and we had a great time. Check-in was seamless. The owners greeted us so nicely and made such a fuss of my dog. Immediately a very warm and homely feel. We are already planning our return. 5* for everything apart from property condition/facilities as it is rather dated- HOWEVER, everywhere is spotless.

Kerry was friendly and helpfull .everywhere was super clean the room was great and the bed was soft we had a great sleep .the bar downstairs has everything you need big tv,pool table, we had a full breakfast in the morning and it was cooked fresh to order and was one of the best breakfast we've had ..the whole place was well worth the money we couldnt fault it 10 out 10

The Hotel is quite dated, but very clean beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and professional the owners who are very much hands on and helpful are amazing the included breakfast was excellent and we ate from the bar menu on the Friday night I had the Steak and Ale Pie served with Chips and peas and my wife had a Jacket Potato with a cheese and onion filling served with a lovely fresh salad and creamy coleslaw and everything was delicious we would highly recommend the food options available to anyone. Thank you so much for an excellent stay

A very warm welcome was received - great value hotel with a superb freshly cooked breakfast on offer. Owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a standard room which was rather dated but comfortable nevertheless.

Gary and Veronica were most welcoming to not only us but our dog. This is a traditional hotel with well priced meals and bar food. An excellent breakfast was included and we had a comfortable room with all we needed for our 3 night stay. Walter, Hilary and Wilson.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the staff were amazing. The breakfast was delicious and we ate dinner every night in the bar. The bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Hotel is run by amazing family. Is not new or modern by warm, family atmosphere gives a lot. My family was very happy to stay there for one night on our Welsh trip. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful. We feels like at home. If I visit this area in future, would not hesitate to book the room in this hotel again.

This family run, pet friendly hotel gives excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although an older building, efforts have been made ...redecoration, new furniture throughout. The "cooked to order" breakfast was excellent and a great improvement on the usual buffet style. A very good base to travel around the island. This family run, pet friendly hotel gives excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although an older building, efforts have been made ...redecoration, new furniture throughout. The "cooked to order" breakfast was excellent and a great improvement on the usual buffet style. A very good base to travel around the island. Had a fantastic time. Host were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Slept like babies. We toured all of anglesey, Using Dinorben Hotel as a base.

Perfectly situated for what we wanted to do. (birdwatching and walking). Great breakfasts and fabulous food on the evening, and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back next year.

What a beautiful find. This property was originally chosen for the size of the car park as we were driving a van and trailer, needing safe parking. My goodness, the car park is huge. When we entered the hotel, Gary met us. He is so kind and gave us loads of information that was required, also very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the area. We are in the hotel restaurant. The meals were great and £70 for 3 main meals with alcoholic drinks. We then walked about the downstairs area, found a separate bar with pool table and darts. Breakfast was included with our room. At 7am sharp we were again greeted by Gary who served the nicest freshly cooked breakfast and was very attentive. We will definitely return to this property and spend some more time there to explore the area. Thank you Gary and staff for a fantastic stay

Lovely comfortable stay. Breakfast one of the best we’ve had- thank goodness we ordered the ‘small one’- really generous! Very convenient for rest of town, and Port Almwych.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Dinorben Arms Hotel, as a base to walk the nearby sections of the Wales Coast Path. It's an old and interesting hotel that serves a wide mix of visitors to the area, and local people, as a hotel should do. The staff were all excellent - the proprietors themselves set the scene - everybody was friendly, courteous and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much - so much better than a modern & bland box of a hotel belonging to a national chain.

This is a great small town family run hotel in the best Welsh tradition and it was a pleasure to stay there. The facilities were good and the range of food available was outstanding of high quality and often sourced locally. The management and staff worked with great application and good humour to meet the varied requirements of their guests. The hotel is well situated for access to the open coast and its waymarked paths; for example on an evening walk to the nearby harbour we noted huge moving shoals of mackerel being picked off by Gannets. Highly commended.

Very helpful reception and friendly staff. Family run. Felt welcome. Very dog friendly. The pub/rooms are warm and comfortable. The bar is fairly priced. Breakfast is excellent and generous. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Dinorben Arms hotel has an Olde-Worlde charm. The staff are excellent …. friendly, helpful and prepared to go the extra mile if necessary. The breakfasts (included) are outstanding and generous in size. The evening menu (not included) is quite varied. Again, quite large portions at very reasonable prices. I can heartily recommend Dinorben Arms!!

The Hotel is quite dated, but very clean beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and professional the owners who are very much hands on and helpful are amazing the included breakfast was excellent and we ate from the bar menu on the Friday night I had the Steak and Ale Pie served with Chips and peas and my wife had a Jacket Potato with a cheese and onion filling served with a lovely fresh salad and creamy coleslaw and everything was delicious we would highly recommend the food options available to anyone. Thank you so much for an excellent stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the staff were amazing. The breakfast was delicious and we ate dinner every night in the bar. The bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Hotel is run by amazing family. Is not new or modern by warm, family atmosphere gives a lot. My family was very happy to stay there for one night on our Welsh trip. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful. We feels like at home. If I visit this area in future, would not hesitate to book the room in this hotel again.

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. Gary and Veronica were the perfect hosts making sure we had everything we needed. The room was simple and spacious and had plenty of tea and coffee etc. We also used the bar/restaurant downstairs in the evening which served lovely food for a great price. Breakfast was delicious the next morning and all perfectly cooked - they even had some delicious Glamorgan sausages for me as a vegetarian, a lovely surprise! What a bargain of a stay with perfect hosts, couldn't have asked for more.

The staff are very welcoming & made us & our fur babies feel at home. The room we stayed in was clean & comfortable. Wow, the breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice. Will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed in the triple room for one night. At the price we paid for 3 people, with a really good breakfast included, we were very happy. Free parking with great directions to find the carpark. Easy check-in and warm welcome. The room was at the front of the hotel and we found it quiet for a Friday night. TV, Kettle with plenty of tea and coffee. The window opened nice and wide so we could get a breeze through. The mattresses were very soft, not great for me but my daughter loved them. The floorboards creaked a lot but it is an old building with character, so to be expected. Large shower cubicle with lovely hot water and good pressure and a few bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Plenty of towels. The breakfast was the star of the show though! Help yourself to cereal and toast, coffee/hot choc machine, plenty of different teas. Cooked breakfast was lovely and good ingredients. Loved the jug of milk and orange juice on the table. No issue asking for a refill. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I would definite stay again when in the area.
