The Hotel Landing

Super friendly staff, convenient location, and easy check-in, check-out process. Dog friendly too...always a bonus.

The Landing Hotel was simply not a good value. The nightly rate was the same as Four Seasons Minneapolis, so the expectation are high, but nothing about the experience was special. We checked in around noon, but with one person working the front desk and a few people still checking out, it took about 10 to 15 minutes to check in. One of the two guest elevators was out of order. Apparently, so was the service elevator because housekeeping was monopolizing the one elevator creating long lead-times to use an elevator. The food at the restaurant was OK, but nothing special. The cycle and treadmills in the workout room were second tier brands. I will say the facility itself was very nice and clean and the location fantastic, but I expected a better experience for the money.

We spent our wedding night at the Landing. It is a beautiful hotel with extremely comfortable and well appointed rooms and bathrooms! Very quiet rooms as well. The server gave us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our special night. Check in and checkout could not have been easier! Free indoor parking at the hotel as well!

Beautiful property. Also stayed on Oct. 24th. The internet was down in the hotel for several hours resulting in frustrating door key issues.

Easy check in, nice hotel, gym is a little week but clean and adequate.

We loved that our dog could join us!

Clean personnel very accommodating

The hotel room was note clean I had a severe rash and complained to the front desk. My guess is that there was an animal staying in the room before who had fleas. The staff did nothing and just ignored me.

Very nice area, hotel was clean and like new. Great communication with staff and management, beginning days before checking in. They are more than willing to cater to your every need. Location was most important on this Christmas travel trip. This hotel was the closest to my daughter's home four minutes away.

Clean and comfortable, every consideration was taken to make sure my stay was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was beautiful. Can’t wait to go back again.

Perfect location in Wayzata. Hotel is very nice, clean and the rooms are comfortable. Food was also excellent. Staff are helpful and friendly. They even have a shuttle that can take you to outlying restaurants.

The room is spacious and clean. The view is facing the next apartment building patios. It charges resort fee, but no pool and spa is closed after 4pm on Wednesday and no masseuse and some credit from the resort fee for your room massage is a false advertisement. The spa doesn’t do massage in your room and it is still looking for a masseuse. The service response is very quick and nice with text message and phone.

The bar/restaurant on the main level (925) was closed so they moved the seating upstairs which is pretty basic / all food/drinks were made in the back kitchen….so not a bar feel, but I’m sure they’ll be opening 925 soon.

It was our first time at The Hotel Landing. Jake at the front desk was terrific. Terrific atmosphere along with great people. Room was very nice and just what we needed. We will stay again.

We are currently planning a wedding in the area, with many of our family and friends coming in from out of town. We wanted to stay at The Hotel Landing to see if it might be a good fit for our guests to reserve a block. Long story short - the experience is not worth the cost. Is it a perfectly nice hotel? Sure. Is it worth the many hundreds of dollars per night that they charge? Definitely not. As you’ll come to see, the theme for this property is “prepare to pay extra.” Let’s start on the good: the location is nice, plenty of shops around and right on Lake Minnetonka. But, plan to pay quite a bit extra for a view of the lake from your room. The building itself is new and in good shape with a decent restaurant in the lobby. The rooms are a bit small, so I paid extra for a “junior suite.” I have to tell you, a suite it is not. The bedroom side of the room was quite cramped by a false wall that separated the bed from the sitting area - which only consists of two small chairs and a tv. It would have been much better if they just billed it as a normal room and took down the unnecessary wall. The bathroom was quite nice, excellent flooring, lighting, and a nice large shower. The biggest issue we identified was the bed. The mattress was a bit thin and soft, the pillows were limp, and the mattress springs were very loud. Every time my fiancée moved, I woke up. Neither of us slept well and we left in the morning feeling tired. We won’t recommend Hotel Landing to our guests.

Clean and comfortable, every consideration was taken to make sure my stay was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was beautiful. Can’t wait to go back again.

Hotel is nice, service in the restaurant is friendly but slow. It was nice to be left alone to visit but after a certain point you realize the staff probably forgot you were here...:-)

Very welcoming and accommodating from even before arrival through departure. Restaurant and bar staff really good and excellent food and drink options. Comfortable room and well appointed.

Excellent wayzata lake location in Minnesota with enjoyable night life involving prime breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Quality walk areas and shopping for clothes, shoes and jewelry. Well designed lakefront options

The Hotel Landing sits a block from a lake in a walkable area with many bars, restaurants, and boutiques. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff helpful. I would recommend it.

We have stayed at the Hotel Landing multiple times and each was a consistent, top-notch experience. Boutique feel and walking distance to great dining and shopping. The onsite restaurant and bar is also enjoyable with late night service on weekends. We look forward to our next stay!

The property felt more like a motel. No late night dining, no safe in the room. For the price I expected more.
