We spent one night. Check in was fine. Unfortunately, we had our westie with us and we're assigned a room next to the first floor exit door. This morning at 4am workmen crews started leaving for their work day. Every 5 minutes they exited the door and woke us up repeatedly over and over. Not a restful night. The room was fairly decent but there were repairs needed that have been neglected. The landscape outside also needs some tlc. Of all the LA Quintas we have stayed at this was the only one that was disappointing and we will not stay there again. Staff was great...property not so much. Location not so great. Wish I booked in Lake Charles.

The bathroom barely had any water pressure. The bathroom amenities were were scarce. The towels were barely thick enough to be classified as a towel.

The stay was done. I got there at 255p to check in and was only able to check into one of my 2 reserved room due to short staffing and rooms not ready yet. The gentleman at the counter was trying to get it worked out. He was kind and apologetic. I was able to get the 2nd room later tha evening upon my return to the property. The staff was friendly/helpful and the location was comfortable.
