The Chandler Inn Bethlehem - Littleton, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Pool was down and didn’t get a full refund I was expecting

We chose the chandler because it wasn.t that far from Bretton Woods. This was a family weekend ski trip. Our grandson was so happy to go in the pool and the game room at the end of the day. We were please with the breakfast. We didn.t expect to find scrambled eggs and sausage among all the other breakfast items included in our room. The place was very clean and the staff were nice and helpful.

Great room for the family. Kids enjoyed the pool and sauna and game room. Boys liked the workout room. Wish you had hot breakfast but is what it is.

The property is new and clean. Parking is awful.

Modern and attractive lobby. Decently appointed exercise gym. Arcade machines a bit dated but in good working order. Pool table and air hockey table both in good condition. Indoor swimming pool is small-ish but nice. Hotel room was comfortable but has a very odd layout with an oddly large and quite bare front sitting room being mostly wasted space that could have been better allocated to a larger bathroom with a dedicated shower stall. As it was, the bathroom had a shower/tub combo. It was clean, though the white tub had some very sloppily applied blobs of dark purple epoxy where it looked like an accessibility railing had once been installed but then later removed and the holes filled with said epoxy. No issues with hot water supply, and provided amenities were adequate. Bed was large and comfortable, but pillows were too thick for me, and I ended up sleeping with no pillow under my head as my least uncomfortable option. Wi-Fi coverage and speed were excellent. Mini fridge worked though was initially switched off. A microwave oven was available in the vending room. HVAC package unit was typical and worked fine, not too noisy. Complementary in-lobby breakfast was what you would expect from this class of hotel: nothing fancy but quite serviceable and satisfying. Uncovered parking lot is a short walk from the front door, but the building has no side door that would have been closer to the parking lot. Overall it was a fine experience and an acceptable value for the money.

Parking is limited and inconvenient. Steps have recently been added between the parking area and hotel entrance but no ramps for people with limited mobility.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous from the renovations to the kindness of the staff! Gorgeous hidden treasure! Room was super roomy and clean! My kids loved the pool! Hidden Gem!

We were disappointed to learn on check in that the pool was closed.

Clean room, friendly staff

I already did here in the bathtub, which is disgusting. The bed look like it was slept in. I felt like I was gonna get bedbugs and there were stains on the sheets that needs a paint job desperately it was all scuffed up around the trim and the doors were dirty. The lock on the door was broken. I felt like I was staying in the Bates motel.

Nice staff. Provided breakfast was good for what it was with numerous options. Only complaint was the floor in our room. Vinyl flooring, which is fine, but had obviously not been washed well in some time. Our socks were BLACK after walking around on the floor. Kind of gross, especially with a four-year-old who doesn't understand why you don't want her playing on the floor.

The hotel was very clean The room was spotless and the food area was very well kept

Staff is friendly and they're pet and family-friendly. The pool and game room are great for kids, and the breakfast buffet is great. However, the rooms are clearly not deep cleaned. I had to keep wiping my kid's feet because they were black from the dirty floors, and the white bedding was getting super gross from it. I also paid for a suite but was given a small room with a big, random balcony/deck that was also very dirty. It was very cramped for 2 adults and 2 kids, but we decided to just deal with it because we had already unpacked everything for a 5 day stay before we realized it wasn't a suite. You can also hear other people in the hotel very clearly, and that's not ideal at night. Overall the stay wasn't horrible but we probably won't ever stay there again.

The hotel room was very spacious and all of the fixtures seemed to be very new. It seems as though the hotel is still under construction. There were walls that they started to repaint, but never finished, finicky electical in regards to the fixtures above the table in our room, and no shower curtain or door in the bathroom. The floors were very dusty and there were piked of drywall in the corners of our room. Overall the hotel gives off a very clean and minimal feeling, but if you look closely you begin to see where the contractors cut some corners. All things considered, we still enjoyed our stay. We got a sizeable room for a good price, pool access, and a (very small) continental breakfast.

The hotel has such great potential, nice swimming pool, gym, helpful front desk and good continental breakfast. However it appears that the housekeeping staff are doing the minimum required, leaving the scope to do much better. In the bathroom the grouting between the tiles in shower was disgusting, not cleaned for a very long time. The wallpaper around the windows were lifting due to the window being left open at sometime, also causing the net curtain to be discoloured. The carpets in the hallways needed a clean, plus the paintwork sorted. The hotel is only a 7/10 and could be a 9/10 with some effort from housekeeping and the maintenance team.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Very clean and well maintained. The problem is the noisy floors, I am not sensitive to noise but couldn't sleep as people were walking in their room upstairs and the noise was too loud that kept waking me up. The air conditioner also was extremely loud. The service in the hotel was minimal, no bar and they didn't sell alcoholic beverages at the gift shop

The tv cable reception was horrible, kept scrambling got one channel, the air conditioner was too loud. The bathtub filled up with inches of water while taking a shower. And the people above us were loud.

Great hotel, very modern and spacious. The shower setup is somewhat strange (there’s a half piece of glass that stands between the tub and the rest of the bathroom with no shower curtain or sliding door; meaning that when you take a shower, water will likely splash onto the floor). Also, pillows are very thick and hard.

Beds were very comfortable but the bed pillows were too big and thick. Also cold air blows in your face while sleeping. Common areas like hallways and elevator could be vacuumed although the rooms were very clean.

It was noisy and hard to sleep. Some bathroom issues need to be addressed. Understaffed - no one answers the phone, and no one there when I arrived after 3. Had to go away & come back later.

The staff were AMAZING and are an incredible asset to this gem of a hotel!!! I would come back in a heartbeat!!!

We received a courtesy call to check in with us to see if we were planning to arrive after hours. If so, everything we would need would have been set aside for us. The place looks great, breakfast in the morning. The only downside was limited parking in the main lot because stupid people don't know how to park within painted lines. There was a lower lot that was easily accessible.

Brian at check in was great. Best customer service I have ever had! Will definitely stay here again.

The property is clean, quiet, and has oversized rooms. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They are not always on duty, so make sure you note the front desk's hours of operation. The parking lot sits above the hotel entrance, so you'll need to unload your luggage before parking, as there are many steps to descend from the parking area. The large lobby offers breakfast each morning with indoor and outdoor seating areas. As I mentioned, the rooms are large and clean. The suites could have more furniture and a microwave, since they have galley kitchens with sinks and small refrigerators, but that's not a deal breaker. I would stay here again.

We were not given the room we booked, needed to get a manager and then their manager to change rooms to what we paid for. They began with it being a Travelocity issue but after 20-30 minutes we had the room we booked, Room was very nice and as shown on web site.

My family arrived at the hotel late expecting our room to be ready as it was well after check in. We walked into a dirty room with rotting banana peels and unmade beds. When we went back to the lobby to let them know it took another half hour of us waiting in the lobby with all of our belongings while they “figured out” the room situation. Once we finally were in a different room the sheets were dirty but my kids were exhausted and needed to sleep. This hotel is poorly managed and customer service is terrible.

Staff really helpful- the two gentlemen at the front desk gave really great recommendations and a young lady at breakfast was really friendly and helped when I managed to get porridge everywhere! Room was bigger than expected and really nice We slept well, it was clean and comfortable We went to a thai and sushi place nearby for dinner following recommendations from the staff and it was really good! Breakfast was better than expected Glad we chose here!

Probably the best hotel in the area. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Dinner place in front of the hotel was excellent with amazing views.

Great stay in Bethlehem! Peace and quiet, comfort and great food across the street at El Mirador!

Enjoyed the privacy and cleanliness. I would go back. We we're a half hour or so away fro Mount Washington

Location is about 10 minutes from Bretton Woods. Hotel was clean, room was spacious en staff very friendly and helpful.

Great stay! Great area, super walkable! El Mirador has great Latin American food! Room was cozy, clean, and comfy!

Hotel nice and clean with excellent location.

Very nice Inn. Modern accommodations, friendly staff. The breakfast was fine. The only “surprise” (and I probably missed something) it wasn’t within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Otherwise, very nice and good value.

The only complaint is breakfast is crap. Don’t offer free breakfast then have nothing but gas station wrapped pastries and toast!

no hot tub only a pool that closes at 9pm. breakfast is very basic not a lot of options. We found 2 flies in the room.

We enjoyed our stay, even though it was just for a night. The hotel and room were clean, the room was very spacious. Check in was smooth and employees were friendly. Only slight downside was that breakfast only included things like bagels and toast. Would like to see more hot breakfast items.

Staff was excellent. I forgot something in the room and they called me to let me know. I was still in the area, so I was able to go pick it up. Only improvement would be to add some more protein options to the breakfast.

We have stayed here while visiting family in the area before. We’ll be back. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Bathroom well set up for senior though floor in room needs small repair. Breakfast is very nice continental breakfast—fresh fruit as well as wonderful yogurt beyond cook your own waffles.
