Lanai at the Cove

The room was amazingly nice and clean, the parking left a little bit to be desired but the location of the hotel definitely dictated how much parking you would have. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely come back to the same location

We came to Seaside for a quick one night trip. The view from our balcony was spectacular. This property was located in a quieter part of Seaside which was a nice change from the busy downtown and prom area. There was a nice pool and patio area. Hanging baskets of flowers with hummingbirds buzzing them were all around. Our room had patio chairs, a dvd player, kitchenette and electric fireplace. The beach here is rocky but there is a sandy beach a few yards away. Would stay again.

I had a wonderful weekend! I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! The only drawback was parking can be tight in a bigger vehicle but it’s not to hard to get out

Great one night stay. Quiet and friendly staff. Comfortable with all of the amenities you need. We loved that there was a telescope to use in our oceanfront room. Not quite walking distance to the town of Seaside. Parking was a little tricky since there are limited spots but it all worked out. Very easy drive to Cannon Beach - only 7 miles away.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with great beach and ocean views. Our unit was a good sized studio with a full couch, recliner, table with four chairs, a desk, television over a dresser, and a four-poster bed that was very comfortable. Kitchenette was very small (maybe 4’ wide), but had all the essential items, except a dishwasher. Tenants are required to wash all dishes before checking out or be charged an additional cleaning fee. This wasn’t too bad since the two if us were only there two nights and ate out most of our meals. Stove was pretty old and could have used a good scrubbing of the oven. Nice sized bathroom with lots of counter space. Pool was nice, clean and pretty warm. Unfortunately no hot tub. Biggest disappointment was that the beach there was very rocky and difficult to navigate. We had to walk down the street a little distance to get to the sand, but from there the beach was great. Complex faces north so the sun never came directly into the units. Had to go out on the rocks or the sandy beach to watch the sunset. But all that said, I would probably stay there again. It was a very comfortable and convenient location.

Loved this property and the proximity to the beach. We were also able to have a fire on the rocky beach right outside our room!

It was a nice area, nice unit. The tunnel to drive under was not marked well. Scraped the top of out luggage rack on the car.

This place had a lot of personality and provided us the environment that we were looking for. It was awesome to be able to walk out the sliding door and be right on the beach, with a great fire pit right in front of our room. We loved watching the surfers from our couch! We will definitely return.

The cleanliness was above board. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned, dusted and bathrooms scrubed and disinfected. I have not seen this anywhere. Not even at 5 star hotels The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Keep up your standards!!!

Hearing the ocean was so great. Perfect studio setup. Queen bed-comfortable Bathroom a bit dated, but all so very clean. Would definitely recommend

Nice and clean and great price!

Check in was at 4 we arrived at 430. They were running behind which I totally get but I had to go the bathroom (badly) not her problem. Room would be ready in twenty five minutes. Room smelled very musty.i know it’s the ocean but if we had to wait that long to have it cleaned a fresher smell would have been nice. No hot water in the shower literally only cold.

The property is original 1960s and desperately needs to be updated. It seems like carpets and linoleum were original which is pretty gross for a home let alone a hotel. The room was really musty smelling which made everything else feel dirty. To top it off, we found a lot of hairs throughout the hotel room, in the shower, sheets, etc. that were not ours. Staff were nice, but that doesn’t make up for room conditions at all.

The location is really great! The property is a little dated, but super clean. I requested a sofa bed room (traveling with my 19 year old who does NOT want to sleep with me) and even called to double check a few weeks prior and when we got there Tuesday after a long drive we were told that our room didn't have a sofa bed, we got a blow up bed which was okay I guess.

The property was nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. The view and location was excellent.

This place was so cute! Had a kitchenette and everything. We were very surprised at how roomy and comfy it was! Larger than normal hotel rooms. The ocean is the back porch view and only 30 ft away. So beautiful! Also, I left my fitness watch under the pillow and they called me to have it sent to me! Very kind and honest!

Great stay & great views! Enjoying the sunset from our patio was incredible. The room was spacious with plenty of seating and had everything we needed.

Expensive for an old motel. We could hear the people above us simply walking across the floor. The bed was uncomfortable. I would not recommend rhis place.

I liked that the property was well equipped, and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our third-floor unit. I did not like that the furnishings were worn and mismatched.

The room was nice! But the a/c kept changing to heat during the night which was very uncomfortable

The best part was the view and balcony. Would recommend replacing carpet with laminate and investing 200 bux for a smart tv. The tv was a dinosaur and had 3 remotes. Took me an hour to figure out how to watch the news. And a new bed/mattress/linens should happen. For the price I would’ve expected the room to be not so dated. The upgrades would be cheap to implement.

Loved the view. The bed was comfortable. It would be great for a longer then overnigjt stay since it has the stove sink and mini fridge. The only suggestion is black out curtains. The room got very bright early in the morning and niether my bf or I are morning people. We ended up trying to cover our heads with pillows.

Heating system not working!

It genuinely pains me not to give this location full stars. The room was absolutely fantastc, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the view was breathtaking. We soent several hours out on the patio reading, looking at the ocean and watching the surfers. The bulk of our experience was absolutely phenomenal. The downside, and reason I knocked off stars, is a significant inconvenience. People are not kidding when they say how thin the walls are here. Our neighbor to the side was having a conversation well into the night, and it felt like they were almost in the room with us. They weren't yelling or raising their voice at all, just having a regular conversation. If they had, we would have let the office know, but it's hard to get upset at a person for just having a chat with their family while on vacation. And we could also hear/feel every step of the person above us. Perhaps if we were on the upper floors we would have left the sliding door open and let the ocean drown them out, but on the ground floor, people were frequently walking through the patio and across the beach, so that wasn't an option. We ended up turning on the hood fan, which itself was loud and annoying, but eventually just became white noise. They do provide earplugs, but they can only do so much. If you are a heavier sleeper that loves ocean views, this place will be ideal for you. And maybe deeper into the off season and less crowded, I would consider coming back ourselves.

Sent an advertisement for a dinner on them when booking two nights the “week of” Valentine’s Day. We had two nights that week. When we checked in we asked about it. They stated that it was only for the day of Valentine’s Day. However the email never said any such thing. Only said the week of, which is when we stayed there. Very disappointing that they didn’t honor their email. Parking area very small. Rooms paper this, which they know as they leave ear plugs for your use as well as a note stating the “1960s” style rooms are noisy.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large beach that was behind the hotel. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. We will be staying here again in the future!

My husband forgot his wallet with our entire honeymoon fund in the room when we checked out. They called us right away to come back, great honest people.

Such a warm, inviting atmosphere and such friendly, accomodating staff.

Every room is unique! Pretty quiet, hardly heard other residents. Walk to beach from hotel is a bit long because you have to bypass a bunch of rocks, but really pretty.

Ocean views are just incredible. Soothing sound of waves 24x7. Super clean and very well located to explore northern Oregon.

Very nice location on the Oregon coast

Could not ask for a better ocean view and all it had to offer….wildlife, surfers and a spectacular sunset. Clean and comfortable. Walkable to Seaside. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our reservation was a last minute idea. The staff were friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The location is perfect. It was close to downtown, but far enough that it was quiet.

Excellent experience staying here and I hope to stay again in the future. The hotel is right on the beach, very clean and all the staff was friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and it’s only 5 minutes from everything!
