Serene with much to do. A lounge open 24 hours for the convenience of the guests. You could wrap yourself in a blanket when sitting by the fire, have coffee all within a couple feet of the seating area. They pay attention to the detail of what would please people the most. My dog, well she was treated like gold by everyone who worked there. First place I ever stayed that truly made our dog feel very welcome… thank you.

The place is adorable. We got a beautiful cabin with a view of the woods and creek. It is dog friendly, has a restaurant on site, and does a nightly camp fire with s'more kits for sale in the vending machine. They even have their own resident dog Rocky. Coffee and tea supplied, games in the common area, and bbqs provided if you feel like cooking. Plenty of wineries up the road.

This was an amazing dog-friendly stay. The grounds are gorgeous, overlooking Seneca Lake, and including trails that lead to a little waterfall. The bistro on site is convenient and yummy, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The staff were extra helpful. The facilites were rustic but clean. The fire pit and view of the lake were awesome. There was a guest lounge room that supplied a vending machine for smores, a restroom, filtered water, coffee and hot chocolate.

We recently stayed at the Lakeside Resort and rented a cabin with two queen beds. The cabin was clean and had comfortable beds. The property is beautiful and worth the walk to explore the trails. While we didn't have dinner at the bistro, the breakfast was wonderful. Overall, we loved this property and would definitely come back.

This property was about three miles from Watkins Glen. It was very convenient, close to town and all the wineries and other attractions. Our cabin was very well appointed with a full-sized refrigerator, cook top, K-cup coffee machine and microwave. The floors are poured concrete which was very clean. We had a clear view to the lake. The resort restaurant was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

We made the last minute decision to spend the day in Watkins Glen and booked a chalet at Lakeside Resort. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. Check in was extremely easy. Will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit!

The room was extremely clean. The most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. The grounds was great to walk around on. The restaurant had delicious food. It was all amazing. I'd definitely stay there again.

The place was perfectly clean and all, but our door was broken. The patch it up but it didn't feel safe. we had a hard time sleeping thinking someone can just push in the door. there didn't even have a lock inside.

When we got in the room the bathroom smelled of excrement. We saw that the toilet seat had poop on it. Also, the refrigerator did not work. We turned it in but nothing was ever done.

It was a great place to stay for a night. But for the price I would expect the shower to be nicer than it was. There was rust on the bottom of the tub and the curtain hanger was held together with duct tape. But other than that the staff is great to deal with. Exceptional service

The shower space is very tiny and horrible water pressure, I am only 5 feet 120pound and very hard taking shower in this bathroom. Also the bed sheets fabric are rough not comfortable at all. The towels are not clean at all lucky we brought our own towels. The service is nasty we asked change different room even don’t mind pay more money they still won't change for you. The rooms and the views definitely not as pictured. Never book this hotel again.

Nice accommodations, great location. However, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighboring room is saying and watching. Did not bode well for two nights with the neighbor that argued most of the night and watched TV until 1am.

Spacious, outdoor patio, kitchen and separate bedrooms=win-win!!! Bedrooms were clean and spacious too! We loved our stay- close to Watkins Glenn, yet plenty of space for outdoor lake viewing and wine sipping.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in a lodge. Room was clean, plenty big enough for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the fire pit of an evening and it was a really chilled environment. The view is beautiful. Only a 5 minute drive to Watkins glen and we never struggled to park for free on the street.

This is a nice facility with good central location for moving around the finger lakes region. My wife and I spent four nights at lakeside and especially liked its location for hiking the area's gorges and seeing other attractions. We stayed in one of the King Bed Cabins and it was nice. Strangely, while the cabin was spacious there were no closets or dressers to put your cloths in. We used a table from the patio and set up the ironing board to set our packing bags on so didn't have to root through our suit cases every time we wanted something. Also, renters should be aware that the tap water has a very strong odor (Sulfer/rotten egg|). There is filtered water available in the lounge area for those who prefer to drink that. Of course you still have to get by the smell when showering etc. Other than those caveats this is a good place to stay.

Was our first time in Watkins Glen and Lakeside Resort and we loved it so much we’ve already booked another adventure for the fall! Everything about Lakeside was easy—check-in, parking, unpacking, having our dog with us, the on-site restaurant (delicious food!!!), and the well appointed chalet. Oh, and every person we encountered there was friendly and helpful. The view from our chalet was like a postcard, too.

We had to go to a wedding so they let us do an early check in. They were very accommodating. The food at the bistro is amazing. The views are beautiful and they love dogs and are pet friendly. We highly recommend this resort. The room was very clean and modern.

They made accommodations for my mother-in-laws wheelchair by providing a small ramp to enter the chalet. Everything was clean and well kept. It was easy getting assistance during business hours. It was well worth the money for the six days we were there.

The property is outstanding in its layout, well managed landscaping and cozy amenities such as a fire pit (already started by staff) surrounded by Adirondack chairs, indoor and a covered patio for dining (since it’s a dog friendly resort) and even a special doggie menu at the resort’s restaurant. The star employee has to be Rocky the black lab, who greets everyone as they arrive to check in or have a meal. The staff were 98% attentive, up to the last day when there was no one at the front desk to talk to. The wait staff just looked and ignored the woman who had been waiting at the desk first, she gave up and left. So I stepped up in line to see if anyone was going to address me, or at least tell me someone would be back in about X number of minutes. Nope, the two ladies I saw just glanced at me quickly then went into the kitchen area. I waited several minutes, then gave up also. All previous interactions had been fabulous, so I’m thinking these were new hires who didn’t know what to do. It will not prevent us from renting a cabin at Lake Side Resort in the future though.

We checked into the hotel at 3:30 PM, only to find that there was no power in the room. With my wife and two young children, this was immediately uncomfortable and concerning. I went to the front office and informed the staff that if the power wasn’t restored by 5:30 PM, we would not be able to stay. The employee assured me that they would notify the owner. We had a lovely relaxing stay in a lodge. Room was clean, plenty big enough for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the fire pit of an evening and it was a really chilled environment. The view is beautiful. Only a 5 minute drive to Watkins glen and we never struggled to park for free on the street.

I loved the bistro option for dinner and breakfast. We were given a creekside cabin. I had thought we reserved a lakeside cabin. The resort is not lake front but lakeside, no lake access. Rooms were comfortable but we were able to hear the guests nearby talking into the evening.

We were looking for a nice spot on the lake that didn’t break the bank, and this spot did not disappoint! Stunning views, great restaurants, close to down town - not walk able to town, but 3 mins away by car. We stayed at the main hotel, but they have beautiful cabins available that we will definitely check out next time. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience!

This is a nice facility with good central location for moving around the finger lakes region. My wife and I spent four nights at lakeside and especially liked its location for hiking the area's gorges and seeing other attractions. We stayed in one of the King Bed Cabins and it was nice. Strangely, while the cabin was spacious there were no closets or dressers to put your cloths in. We used a table from the patio and set up the ironing board to set our packing bags on so didn't have to root through our suit cases every time we wanted something. Also, renters should be aware that the tap water has a very strong odor (Sulfer/rotten egg|). There is filtered water available in the lounge area for those who prefer to drink that. Of course you still have to get by the smell when showering etc. Other than those caveats this is a good place to stay.

This property was about three miles from Watkins Glen. It was very convenient, close to town and all the wineries and other attractions. Our cabin was very well appointed with a full-sized refrigerator, cook top, K-cup coffee machine and microwave. The floors are poured concrete which was very clean. We had a clear view to the lake. The resort restaurant was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner and the staff at The Lakeside Resort are beyond awesome. Easily the most friendly place we have ever stayed. If you are going to stay on Seneca Lake, this is the place. Rocky the on site chocolate lab is the best. The food in the bistro is amazing. Even if you are not staying on property, it is worth stopping here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We recently stayed at the Lakeside Resort and rented a cabin with two queen beds. The cabin was clean and had comfortable beds. The property is beautiful and worth the walk to explore the trails. My family just had an overnight stay with a dinner reservation, which we had to cancel because they were only serving breakfast all day, and a breakfast reservation the following morning, which was amazing. The room was very clean. The shower in the bathroom was wonderful. The food at the Bistro was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. The nightly campfires were a nice bonus to enjoy star gazing and meet other people. The parking was easy to use and plenty of spaces.
