We had an amazing stay this past weekend! We got upgraded to a larger room, which was huge! The bathroom was so clean, the room was perfect!! I asked for extra items and got them very quickly and with nice smiles. Every staff member we encountered was nice and friendly. We swam and the pool was clean with plently of pool towels! The breakfast was a hit for 2 mornings! What a great value for us to fill up on breakfast which made us ready to go out and explore quicker. Will definitely be staying at a Holiday Inn Express again! Nice work staff at the Evansville location!

When we arrived the lady at the front desk was polite and helpful! She got us checked in and on our way to the room. Everything was so close for dining and activities for kids. The room was clean and ready! The kids loved the pool and it wasn’t too cold like a lot of places!

It’s a shame that we got there at 2:15 and unless we wanted to pay $75 or join the hotel club we couldn’t check in until 3pm. That made for a frustrating start to our stay! The room was nice but the door stuck on the floor which was annoying. The beds were comfy. The pool was nice. The surrounding area had a lot. The breakfast was good.

The property was well maintained. Breakfast was fabulous. The shower was a little small. The body wash container in the shower was empty. When checking in there was no one at the desk. I waited 10 minutes then left and came back about an hour later. I chose this hotel for its 9 rating. It was a good stay but not worthy of a 9 in my opinion.

Hotel was new and very clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. We took our basketball team there to stay. Let’s me honest…15 teenagers together can be rowdy at times. They took it like champs. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever ate. An older gentleman was wiping tables and I asked if more bacon would be put out. He apologized bc he didn’t realize it was gone. Within 2 minutes he had a plate of bacon and walked over to me to serve me before he filled up the pan. It was so nice of him. He even gave me a Togo box so I could take breakfast up to my son that was still sleeping. The dove in the bathroom and shower was a great added touch. This was our 1st time in Evansville Indiana and it left a great impression on me!!! Hotel is also located by lots of dining and shopping options.

Darlene at front desk is a DELIGHT This location is Spotless . Modern . Great options for dining and shopping . Close to highway. Will always be my go to place whenever I travel back to Evansville

Positive: Friendly staff, quick check-in Negative: Overall, clean room however, bathroom shower had mold/mildew. Also, we felt rushed to check out. Housekeeping came into the room at 9:30am to see if we were out. Also, we came from out of town and didn't know anything about the area. I was surprised that the front desk staff didn't know anything either. Both persons said they were new to the area and didn't know where anything was at either. We didn't get any welcome gift if were supposed to. We just were informed of the amenities of the facilities.

Check in was fast , got waited on within minutes. Very clean room, soft bed , large bathroom. The breakfast was very good as well and the coffee was fantastic. We were on the 4th floor and I usually hate being in higher levels d/t rooms just don’t get cold enough. Let me tell you that was not a problem at all . The air was FABULOUS! Was chilly and loved it. Will stay again .

Bathroom sink was not draining. I request to get it fixed didn’t happened. Then commode flush stop working. I was told no maintenance guy till Monday. Told them Not possible to stay with dirty bathroom for 2 days. Front staff was rude and said only have 1 room with similar booking take it otherwise she couldn’t help. I had no option other to go take that. Any decent hotel will provide a replacement even it’s the most expensive room to make up for their weakness. Will never stay there.

They double booked our room and gave us the wrong room they wouldn't accommodate us with another room so we had enough beds so everyone could sleep or give us cots ,they basically told us we had to sleep on the floor. The lady at the disk was very rude and seem like she was high on some. They did give us a refund the next morning but being they dont clean hotels good sleeping on the floor was just horrible and uncomfortable.

We stayed for one night and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get to. There are plenty of dining options in the area and hotel guests receive a discount at Texas Roadhouse and Bar Louie which are both right across the street (within walking distance if it was a little warmer). The lady at the desk also offered us coupons for a couple of other nearby restaurants. We didn't have time to shop, but there is plenty of shopping around the area, as well. The hotel was clean and VERY quiet. The breakfast was one of the better "continental" breakfasts I have ever had. They even had bacon which is RARE! If we ever have the need to return to Evansville, this will be where we look to stay again.
