Whenever we visit our daughter in Newark, we LOVE staying at this Hilton Garden Inn. Whether one night or several nights, this particular Hilton Garden is AMAZING! From the welcoming front desk staff to the lovely restaurant staff. Delores in the dining room was so kind to us and even remembered our visit with our grandsons in the last two years. She, the manager and the whole staff at breakfast made us feel so at home and appreciated. We ordered dinner and took it to our Jr suite as we had several children. They made it so easy for us that it was effortless- especially being grandparents! And the children look forward to our time together swimming in the fabulous salt water pool! I don’t normally use indoor hotel pools as they feel dirty. This property does an amazing job of keeping the pool area clean and inviting. Love this hotel!

This is a great way to get away for the night but still be close to home for me. It is very clean, comfortable king size bed with super soft pillows. They also have a pool, bar, and breakfast in the morning.

Overall enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. A few minor details could be improved to make it a 5 star stay like providing complementary breakfast. The remote in my room was dirty but there were lysol wipes provided near the lobby elevator that i made use of. Also, noticed a blue stain in the shower which could have been cleaning solution. Other than that the room was relatively clean.

We found a roach right away in our first room. We called to inform the front desk and they moved us to another room. If it wasn't after midnight and weren't checking out early in the morning we would've gone to another hotel. The hallways did not look clean and were in need of vacuuming.

Hotel was so-so, on par with your usual airport area hotel. No perks or extra (unless you wanted to count the 2 bottles of purified water in the room). Somewhat clean, but there was someone else's hair in the shower. Small room, poor water pressure, furniture and paint dinged up and showing age. The king bed/mattress was good and comfortable.

The young lady at checkin was lovely (Leila). She was informative, friendly and very knowledgeable. She was also at the desk the next morning, also as spry as the evening before. The room was very clean, but the bed was uncomfortable. Very soft with lots of divets. Also the pillows were too soft (or old). Chalked it up to personal preference.

I wanted to stay close to Newark airport and this Garden Inn is about 20 minutes away and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and check-in was seamless. Rooms had modern decor with mini fridge and microwave. A good sized fitness room and indoor pool were nice. Would definitely return.

This was very convenient for my trip and the room was nice. Great AC but man is the hotel loud. Any noise in the hallway feels like it’s in your room as there’s little fan/ac noise to drown it out.

I was traveling for business and had booked to rooms. 1 week prior I requested to change a name on the second room and had a terrible time. I was contacted by phone by a rep from Hotels.com and he was very good. He called the hotel to request the name change. He spoke with the operations manager and was rudely treated and hung up on twice. He had his supervisor call and the operations manager had the same kind of customer service. He was then told by the operations manager that she was done with them and going to cancel the reservation and was hung up on as well. The supervisor called back and said to not cancel the room. Well... when I arrived for checkin she had cancelled the room at the discounted rate and luckily they had 3 rooms left and I had to pay full price for my second room. This operations manager should be fired! She was rude and had terrible customer service with the hotels.com reps and myself.

The staff at the check in was great and I noticed her name Marge was very kind and made up a doggie bag for my Labrador. The room was perfect in every way, clean, comfortable and even the cleaning crew were so warm and friendly. One of my best hotel experiences.

I was attending an event , so it was very convenient for me. The room and the bathroom was quite spacious which makes it quite accessible for someone with disabilities. However, i was unaware that breakfast was not included. I believe that regular continental breakfast should be included. To pay $16 for a bagel and cup of coffee is ludicrous when the coffee maker in the room is not working .

Very nice place, however, we did not get offered by hotel.com to include breakfast and had a shock to find out the continental breakfast is an 11.50 per person charge. Other items like two eggs cooked, was $14. Pancakes, were $18. So do purchase breakfast inclusion, OR plan to go out for breakfast. In the area, can get more for breakfast at $11.50, so keep in mind. The continental breakfast is just read, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, juice, yogurt and coffee/tea. Not much for the expense.
