Room was not ready on arrival although Expedia clearly says check in is at 3pm. Had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes, and then a room change due to our room still not being ready. Room not very clean. Going to a hotel with a hot tub after a day of snowboarding was a highlight of my day. But when we got there, turned out that water in the hot tub was freezing cold … that made me so sad! I had an amazing time staying here at the Residence Inn. The staff was extremely nice. I wish they had a pool, but other than that, my stay was great! De’lamiah I believe was her name (I may have misspelled it) was wonderful. She made sure I was comfortable and provided exceptional customer service. I will definitely return.

The facilities are a bit sad. The gym is tiny, and the one treadmill is broken. The sign in front of the pool says its closed indefinitely. Not sure why either amenity is listed, and visitors should know that they can't count on either.

The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was nice and clean, and we got upgraded. However, the pool was closed during our entire stay due to maintenance. which did not make any sense to close the pool during a holiday weekend.

NO POOL SINCE COVID. (Website shows pool!) NO WORKING ICE MAKER EXCEPT KITCHEN AND STAFF HAD TO BE BOTHERED TO GATHER IT. New thermostat never worked despite mechanic(?) and myself setting it. They DID move me across hall but first room never got cool. Breakfast hours of 0630-0900 are ludicrous unless you are a temporary medical worker with early hours. I moved to a Hampton Inn across the street where my grandson had a pool: people actually cared about their loyalty members and breakfast is served 0600-1000. You just don’t have a cooktop, large refrigerator or dishwasher. Bed was nice. Housekeeping every other day. Also can opener did not work and desk staff didn’t check in laundry storage where 20+ openers were found the morning I left. Maintenance guy Steve was absolutely the BEST!! The location manager is awful- totally non-caring. Never again will I stay in Residence Inn. Marriott properties have fallen off in quality over the past 10-15 years. Local franchisees don’t really care about clients-only the bottom line.

Host at the front desk was on her cell phone when I went to check in and did not even look up to greet me until she finished whatever she was doing on her cellphone and was quite rude when she did finally acknowledge me. I booked a one bedroom suite and was downgraded to a glorified studio (Mountain View) but had to pay the original price in the amount for the suite even though I definitely did not get a suite like I had booked for. Hotel advertises as having pool on Google but pool is permanently closed. Bathroom was dirty and shower floor was stained brown. Room had multiple light bulbs out in it and did not feel very clean. Overall definitely will not be staying there again and I would advise anyone thinking about it to stay away. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

There was a significant amount of mold on the ceiling above the shower. Mold is potentially extremely dangerous to our health, so this needs to be cleaned up immediately.

We were in a 2 bedroom suite and both showers had hairs in them. The shower in the main bathroom also had tons of orange on the tiles , in dire need of a good scrub!

We stayed here before without any issues. This time the room had toenail clippings in the bedroom. Also, there was no soap in the shower. I had to get dressed to go down and get some soap. When I asked for soap the representative told me that they don't give discounts to people that book a room using a third party website. I said, I'm not looking for a discount, please give me soap. Last time we stayed here we were given a bag with two bottles of water and some fruit. We saw the bags behind the desk and asked if we could get a bag like last time. We were told that those are for the guests that booked a room directly with the hotel and not through any third party website. So, we are treated like second class citizen because we booked our room through a third party website. If a company doesn't like the rates they need to publish on third party websites to be competitive, then simply don't use that service.

Two spacious bedrooms with spacious bathrooms, nice and cozy living room. A big fridge with all the pots and pans, cup and plates like almost everything you need. We love everything about this hotel. It’s a five star hotel in my opinion.

We had a 2 BR and 2 BA suite which was perfect for traveling with a teenager. She loved having her own BR for once! More hotels should do this to address the problem with companies like Airbnb and VRBO. This is what traveling families want! The room was spacious, modern, clean. The primary BA was large, and it was great having a small kitchen and living room. Just great for traveling with children, especially teenagers who want and need space of their own.

Personal opinion but I had a hard time sleeping due to the flat, uncomfortable pillows. Hard to read the writing on the dispensers in the shower. Rooms were spacious and well thought out. Breakfast was good and attendant was excellent! Checking in with customers eating to see if they needed anything. Would stay at a Residence again and refer friends.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly not only helping with the check-in but also recommended a great local restaurant. Great location with a lot businesses around, plus there is a Target next door in case you need to shop for anything. My entire family enjoyed the stay and I wanted to say thank you for making me look better for planning this trip :-)

I have mixed feelings about this hotel (and I'm a regular Marriott client). Pros: very nice studio apartment, well appointed. Good reception staff. Clean. Negatives: It is located in an outlying strip area, with views of strip stores, large roads and parking lots. This is a real shame as Kingston is such a beautiful town - too bad they didn't place the hotel closer. - They have permanently closed their pool. - At 8:20 AM, the choice of breakfast foods was already starting to get limited. No whole wheat bagels or breads available. Not a lot of scrambled eggs left and the maple syrup as all used up. Their bold coffee was quite weak (we added a spoon of instant coffee to it in our room) and no plant milks (soy, almond...) were available.

Pretty new hotel in excellent condition. I had a studio with a nice kitchen, sitting area, and king sized bed. Nice sized bathroom, with a walk in shower (with excellent water pressure.) Very quiet room. The area has many shopping centers. My room looked on the back and side of a Target, and I think this added to the quiet at night. Excellent front desk staff. Very good laundry room with 4 washers and 6 dryers. Each $2.50 in quarters, but front desk staff can give you change. Good breakfast buffet area with 4 hot options (eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, French toast sticks), cereals, yogurts, breads/toasts/English muffins, coffee/tea, many juices. Ample space in lobby or outdoors to sit and eat. They have a beer/wine electronic dispenser in the lobby. You purchase an electronic card and then it will dispense a fixed amount. Very close to the on-ramp to Route 199, so it’s a very quick to get to the Kingston-Rhinebeck bridge and cross the river. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. I wish breakfast (at least on weekend) was longer, till 10:30 am instead of 9:30 am. The entire hotel looks recently renovated. I would say finish the last touches (like light switches) to make a bigger impact. Staff was nice, location was convenient.
