My wife and I had our honeymoon here in July 02,2022. We decided to return for a anniversary (2 yr). Shawn and family,who still operating the Motel, work their tail"s off to please their guest. I even remember being in the pool and watching Shaun installing alot of the camera \'s around the location. This is a hidden little gem. The owners have done a wonderful job keeping this vintage motel in top shape. This is definitely a go to for us. It is convenient to local attractions, the restaurant across the street is great and it is pet friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

We were passing through on a road trip, and we only stayed one night, but I wish I had longer to stay in the area. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Our arrival was a little later than we thought we would be due to bad weather. They left the key in the room for us, which was very nice and convenient for checking in after 9pm. The room was clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable and the place has great character. Had a nice quiet morning sitting on the porch chairs outside the room which was a very nice way to start the morning before heading out on the road again.

Newly painted room, crisp and clean. Facility was old but quaint. Shower head was awesome and beds were more than comfortable. Fridge and microwave shined. We spent only one night on business but hope to go back sometime for longer stay. No hassle with our dogs. Thank you

The room was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for Murray State Family weekend, and there were no hotels available in Murray. This was only a 20 minute drive away. It’s close to Kentucky Lake. We drove through the Bison and Elk Prairie. The motel is older but it’s been renovated and is very clean. We loved having the kitchen to be able to eat a couple meals there and save some money from eating out. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was too cool, but it was beautiful and clean.

This is a beautiful little hotel. The room felt recently renovated and was perfectly clean and nice. The bathtub was really deep, which I particularly liked, being a big guy. Everything was just super nice and I was able to back my Jeep right up by the door to our room. If the weather had been nice, we could have walked to the Fishin' Pond restaurant across the street. It's location is perfect for all the recreation opportunities at Land Between the Lakes. We were there for the Turkey Bay ORV area and to explore. Best of all, the price was an outstanding value. It was probably the best value I have had with a hotel in many years.

I feel bad giving a lower rating but we picked this out because of the glowing reviews we had read. It was ok. Friendly staff yes! But the place itself was pretty worn out with stained sheets, musty smell, and a puddle under the sink. The bathroom was tiny which I know is because it’s pretty old. But I definitely think this was way over rated in the reviews. No way would I “drive out of my way to stay here”. It was an acceptable place to stay for an overnight stop.

Spacious for a large family for a short stay. Bathroom was very small and lacked a shower liner so the water went everywhere when showering. The foldout couch bed was broken and bowed in the middle so was not usable. The bed sheets/conforters were stained and did not appear to be clean. We got there around 11pm and left before 10a did not have the time or money to go elsewhere so we dealt with it. It was otherswise a nice place im sure management would have fixed everything right away but we did not want to disturb anyone that late at night.

We had read reviews and picked this place to stay based on good reviews. When we arrived in our room we was majorly let down. The room just didnt have the home feeling we was looking for. The mattresses was horribly uncomfortable. The room had a smell and cob webs all oblver the ceiling it didnt have a clean feel to it. The towels was majorly stained one had black stuff all over it. And the light shined in our room it needed curtains

The water pressure there was atrocious... not even strong enough to wash the beard sucker from my razor blade. Trying to take a shower was a joke... a spring rain wood have done a better job! There are no curtains, just wooden slat blinds. With the lights outside it looked close to daytime all night long. I'm just glad I'm home now so I can take a real shower and get some sleep! The staff was very friendly and the hotel's location was close to everywhere I was going.

Very clean, easy check in/out. Pretty quiet. Only things I’d like to see improved are the blinds (design of the blinds allow them to let some light in) and shower (needs a much more powerful shower head and, with shower curtain pulled, was kinda dark in the shower itself). Both minor complaints. Great value-would stay again!

Stayed here as a last resort on the eve of the solar eclipse. Check-in was easy. Kitchen was well-stocked with an oven and pots and pans for making a real dinner (lasagna and vegetables from Dollar General) and breakfast to save money on eating out. Main room was spacious. Beds were firm but our family prefers that. An extra bed was provided beyond the two queens which was an added bonus to keep the peace. Would stay there again.

I selected this hotel because the website said it was a 15 minute walk to the lake. When I arrived and asked the front desk staff about the path to the lake, she said there was no walking path and that the roads did not have sidewalks and were curvy. She said it was not safe to walk on the roads to the lake. When I called hotel.com’s customer service, they said it was “walk at your own risk.” The blinds on the windows were very cheap and let a lot of outside light in. There were bright lights outside near both windows, so the room was never really dark for sleeping. The bathroom shower did not have a light in it. The shower curtain was dark, so it didn’t let the light from the bathroom into the shower area. Would not stay here again.

Booked it 20 minutes before we arrived, and when we got there the owner/employee/whoever was just coming out of our room after leaving the key and receipt in there (unlocked, of course). He offered us more blankets and help setting up the pull-out couch. He was SO nice! And our room had 3 queens and a couch, so could have slept 8! My kids were all happy to have their own beds. And the price was CHEAP. It was so clean and comfortable that I wished we were staying longer! If we ever come to this area again we will for sure!

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Love that it is pet friendly without a bunch of size restrictions! Will definitely consider booking again next time visiting Murray. Be aware, due to age of building, bathroom was SMALL with only a shower (standard room). It was fine for us, but people with mobility issues may find it challenging.

We were passing through on a road trip, and we only stayed one night, but I wish I had longer to stay in the area. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Our arrival was a little later than we thought we would be due to bad weather. They left the key in the room for us, which was very nice and convenient for checking in after 9pm. The room was clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable and the place has great character. Booked it 20 minutes before we arrived, and when we got there the owner/employee/whoever was just coming out of our room after leaving the key and receipt in there (unlocked, of course). He offered us more blankets and help setting up the pull-out couch. He was SO nice! And our room had 3 queens and a couch, so could have slept 8! My kids were all happy to have their own beds. And the price was CHEAP. It was so clean and comfortable that I wished we were staying longer! If we ever come to this area again we will for sure!

I selected this hotel because the website said it was a 15 minute walk to the lake. When I arrived and asked the front desk staff about the path to the lake, she said there was no walking path and that the roads did not have sidewalks and were curvy. She said it was not safe to walk on the roads to the lake. When I called hotel.com’s customer service, they said it was “walk at your own risk.” The blinds on the windows were very cheap and let a lot of outside light in. There were bright lights outside near both windows, so the room was never really dark for sleeping. The bathroom shower did not have a light in it. The shower curtain was dark, so it didn’t let the light from the bathroom into the shower area. Would not stay here again.

My son and I spent four nights here on a hunting trip. Nice location near The Land Between Lakes Recreation Area. Staff were very nice. This is a nice, quiet and peaceful place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for Murray State Family weekend, and there were no hotels available in Murray. This was only a 20 minute drive away. It’s close to Kentucky Lake. We drove through the Bison and Elk Prairie. The motel is older but it’s been renovated and is very clean. We loved having the kitchen to be able to eat a couple meals there and save some money from eating out. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was too cool, but it was beautiful and clean.

This is a beautiful little hotel. The room felt recently renovated and was perfectly clean and nice. The bathtub was really deep, which I particularly liked, being a big guy. Everything was just super nice and I was able to back my Jeep right up by the door to our room. If the weather had been nice, we could have walked to the Fishin' Pond restaurant across the street. It's location is perfect for all the recreation opportunities at Land Between the Lakes. We were there for the Turkey Bay ORV area and to explore. Best of all, the price was an outstanding value. It was probably the best value I have had with a hotel in many years.

Beautiful older motel. Loved the setting and the property! We had a table and chairs to enjoy outside our room, and the property itself was spotless. The pool looked so inviting that I was sad to not have time to enjoy it.
